I probably wouldn't have picked this out for myself, but I borrowed the roomie's bottle and... WOW this color looks gorgeous against pale skin! I wear (and really really love) Milani Black Cherry, which an earlier reviewer compared this shade to, as an elegant alternative to black, but I think Sinful Merlot is a great alternative to red. To my eye, with two coats, it's a deeper and more modern candy apple red shade. I love the slight metallic finish that other reviewers have noted.

I wouldn't buy this product again, however, because it's quite thick and seemed to take forever to dry. It also chipped very quickly for me the two times I wore it, but I did not wear top coat and it does seem like it's worn well for other girls.

Love this color - looks exactly like my fav merlot wine with a metallic sheen - Great staying power, doesn't chip, and looks great for work or play.

I do use two coats and topcoat to keep the color rich and perfect, but nothing different than usual.

Plus, this is super cheap, unlike some of the OPI polishes I have, which honestly don't test any better for me.

The name says it all. It's perfect red wine shade. got it BOGO from walgreens..great value. :)

I got this BOGO at walgreens. It's my new favorite red. Application was good, it's true to the "merlot" name. Only needed two coats, and has great lasting power like all sinful polishes.

This color is beautiful! On tips or toes. Perfect dark wine red/vampy color with slight shimmer. I have fair skin, but I am sure this would flatter most skin tones. Great color and versitle enough for the office or going out! Wears great too. I find it somewhat similiar to Milani's black cherry, but it wears better. I love this brand!
