I personally recommend this foundation to younger people. I love the coverage and it lasts about 4-5 hours .

I cannot say enough about loreal foundations i think there all good and i think they are good for aging skin, unfortunately mine isnt what it was ten years ago but with the right moisturizer and this foundation, nobody guesses i have a 20 year old daughter, the only complaint i would give it would be the colors, some are just too light, but i have learned a trick adding a little bronzer with it and i get the prettiest glow, try it you will like it

This gives great coverage and feels light and airy on the skin. very moisturizing and my skin seems to love it. Very little I have to do afterwards. Just a light dusting of powder to set, very little bronzer and blush and my face is done. Even though I have moved on to Chanel foundations I will still use this up. I would rebuy if the Chanel foundations start to disappoint.

Great texture. Goes on smoothly and as lightly as you want it. Build-able for more coverage. Brightens without looking too light. Skin looks soft, not cakey, like real skin, only smoother.
Perfect, except it doesn't do anything to control oil.
I've already gone through 2 jars and am going to buy a 3rd, but I'm not seeing it stocked anywhere in b&m stores, only online.

Good product. Nude beige fits my NC25 skin. Medium coverage. Creamy and smooth. Not cakey at all. Hydrating and gives a radiant finish (not matte)
The only down side: does not stay long and gets greasy after 3-4 hours. Not for oily skin girls

Thanks to makeup alley, after much trial and error, have found my HG foundation. It was a very long journey to get here. The texture, coverage and hydration for this foundation is amazing for me. I have Rosacea and some age spots and this stuff just fixes it all.
I would be mortified if they ever discontinue this product!

Gosh, I really like this product so far. I have been on a quest for a new HQ foundation now that I have turned (gasp) 45 and have all sorts of issues with my skin besides aging, including melasma, acne and shininess. I need coverage without cakiness that looks natural. I have been using Merle Norman Luxivia in Soft Bisque, but frankly, it can look to caked on by the time I got the coverage I needed for the melasma. I did like it for the shininess coverage, and the color was great, but it was lacking 'luminescense'. So I was reading an article on the top 5 foundations for older skin, and this one was on the list. I chose the Natural Beige color and applied it with the brush applicator over primed skin, generously heaping it where I need it. I then set it with CoverBlend Anti-Aging Finishing Powder. It looks fabulous! My skin actually looks younger. Instead of looking like older skin with lots of makeup on, my skin looks younger with a moderate amount of makeup on. I know that sounds weird, but it's a good thing! My melasma is decently covered, and nothing looks cakey at all. I guess the light reflecting properties of this plus the moisturizers really do work. I will update as it wears throughout the day, but so far I am very pleased!
I'm updating this to a 5 star!! I've been using it for almost a week now, and I absolutely love it. My skin looks fabulous and a male neighbor guessed I was 10 years younger than I actually am. It stays put on my face and doesn't transfer. The only thing that happens is a slight sheen in my T Zone that I need to blot a couple of times a day, but that is a small price to pay for such a fabulous product at such a great price. I'd chuck my Chanel foundations right in the trash if I hadn't spent so much money on them.

Sometimes I have these moments of incredible stupidity. I have kept all liquid and creme foundations away from my face for 5 years now. As a disclaimer, I am not one of those freaky people who use mineral makeup for it's all natural-ness, even though that is a plus, even though I don't entirely buy it. The reason why I don't use liquids or cremes is because they all have looked atrocious on my very dry, but not really sensitive skin. So, like I said, I, like another reviewer on here, had my moment of stupidity, and had to make sure there wasn't anything I was missing in cremes. This one sounded so perfect for me. Even though I am kinda young, I spend a lot of time in the sun and I like to use anti-aging products for preventative purposes. My skin is also very dry, like I said before, so I thought this really may be for me. WRONG! I don't know why but this went on so streaky and strange and wouldn't cover anything no matter how I applied it (with a brush and with my finger and a combination of the two). Granted, I did choose a shade that was WAY too light. Suddenly, all the horrific memories of liquid makeup came rushing back. I'm not sure whether to just return it or keep trying to find a good shade. I'm leaning towards just cutting my losses, though.

Okay so I have tried this makeup brush that comes with this product on numerous occasions. I have never used a makeup brush before, and I kept trying it, but all it seemed to do was streak the product and not truly smooth it into my skin. I don't know if it was the brush or me. I ended up finding it much easier to just use my hands, as much as I'd like to be more hygienic, blending with the brush didn't work well.
When I first tried this product I hated it. I only used the brush and it went on way too thick, looking really yellow and bad. When I smoothed it out more, I realized that it blended into my skin really well. I have super light skin and this didn't look yellow at all once blended in. It's almost like the color changes once it oxidizes or something to a light natural shade. And by the way, this DOES settle into my fine lines, but one swift smudge of the finger and the lines go away.
It is funny how this stuff works. On one hand, it looks natural, but on the other hand, it is quite thick and really smooths out your skin. I think it must be a little translucent. It has a great combination of being able to make you look healthy and dewy, while at the same time giving good coverage.
The only downside is this product wears off over time. I found that Revlon Colorstay for Combination Skin seemed to last longer, although it wasn't as thick. I will keep searching.

I think this is my first five star rating on here! This product was recommended by a makeup artist in "Lucky" magazine for its dewiness and mousse-like texture. At first, I could not understand the raves. It went on so thick and just kind of sat on my skin. However, once I read the reviews on here and understood that I really should use the brush that comes with it (please forgive my ignorance - I had never used a foundation brush before), I found this to be the best foundation I have used. It makes my skin look incredibly smooth and dewy. It also doesn't seem to really settle into my fine lines (I don't use it under my eyes, as I have heavy-duty concealer for that, so I cannot speak to its performance in this area). I simply adore it!
I freaked when I read one of the reviews on here that mentioned it was being discontinued. According to another, this is not true. Oh, I hope not! I have only just found this and want to covet it for a long time to come...

I, too, had high hopes for this product. After finding the right shade for my pale skin and using this for two weeks, I found that it made my eyes burn. I must be allergic to an ingredient. The coverage was good but I found that it settled in my pores and lines under my eyes. . Anyway, back to CVS it goes.

This is a really good cream foundation. It covers very well, and makes my skin look so pretty!! After reading that it was being pulled from shelves, I emailed L'Oreal. They responded that the product is not being discontinued. Hooray!!!
I tried Cover Girl Simply Ageless before this. The Age Perfect is more dewy looking on my skin. I found the perfect match in Soft Ivory.

Does anyone out there remember a very similar foundation by L'oreal that was out about 15 years ago? It was also in a jar format, a bit more mousse-like than this one. I loved it back in the day, so since this foundation reminded me so much of it, I just had to try it.
I have to say that I'm not disappointed. I have oily/combo/breakout-prone skin, yet I'm also at the age where I'm starting to notice fine lines around my eyes and have become super vigilant about sunscreen use. I tend to get SD as well, and battle flakies around my nose. So needless to say, one can imagine that I usually have a heck of a time finding the right foundation.
This one is so good, it's surprising. Despite its moisturizing properties, it's not greasy at all. I like using it on its own, (applied with fingers)without a moisturizer underneath. It provides a dewy, yet natural finish. 'My skin but better' in an extreme way. It's perfect for those days when my skin is feeling super sensitive and any other matte/talc-based foundation irritates to no end. The SPF 12 is a bonus too.
I've noticed that this is being pulled from my local shelves, so I'm stocking up ASAP. Yet another gem that's being discontinued....

I have switched to this after a lifetime of Clinique and then Estee Lauder foundations. I found my color match of nude beige on my second try. I find that using a generous amount of moisturizer underneath helps to prevent streaks. I also just do part of my face at a time, so that the foundations doesn't dry out before I get to it. I think it is a bargain at less than half the price of my EL foundations. I got a great deal on it at ULTA, as well.

I was looking for a creme/liquid foundation coz my mineral make-up doesn't seem to be working in these hot months. I decided to try this in Natural Buff and I was amazed how light it felt on my skin. At first, I was kinda dissapointed at how to blend the foundation using the brush included. The make-up were streaks on my face no matter how I patiently blended.
Then I tried this, I used a stippling brush after spreading the make-up with the included brush. The result was fantastic! My pores looked smaller and my skin healthier. I couldn't stop looking at myself in the mirror. I would use a little concealer on top of the make-up if I needed in some areas. I also dusted some loose powder on top to set the make-up. It looked/felt like I was not wearing any make-up at all. Awesome! I would definitely stock up!

Was looking for a cheaper alternative to the $85 jar of La Mer creme foundation & I believe I found it with Age Perfect! No turning orange, turning dry or doing any other weird things that make me hate foundation! I love the brush & I literally dot on a dime-sized bit of foundation on my forehead, nose, each cheek & chin & then use the brush to blend downward & out...perfect! I feel & look so much prettier & my only complaint is that I wish drugstores would have testers...I bought "Creamy Natural" & I think it might be the right color range bit a tiny bit too dark for me...so I might bring it back & try another color. Other than that, PERFECT!!!!!!!!!!!!

Maybe I am crazy but I like the brush (???)
This stuff is good. I can't find anything wrong with it. Not as good as a few high-price ones I can think of, but pretty close.

Finally a foundation that I can work with! I read the reviews from the older ladies here and decided to give this one a try. I am very happy I did. I was using the Revlon Age defying sister to this one, and it was not very good to me. It made my eyes watery and felt like dirt on my face actually. The color was also hard to match. L'Oreal is way better to me. I bought this in creamy natural. The color matches my skin tone great. It blends so smoothly and even. It is a good coverage texture. Not too thin, or thick. There is a faint smell but not a lingering one. I can't review the wrinkle advantages of this product yet, but after a month or so, I will let you know what I think of that. For now...this is the best color match I have found in countless foundations. I love how smooth it goes on also. The little brush is just that, little, but it does work. I think my other brushes will work better though. The container is ok with me because the mouth of the jar is wide enough to use a small scoop rather than plunging the brush back and forth into it. It is also easy to get the last bit of product out of the jar. A good thing. For now....I am really liking this foundation and will buy it again.

im way too young too use anything specifically for aging skin but i heard a review on youtube.com that intrigued me to purchase it. and i absolutely LOVE it!!! i heard it described b4 as being "thicker than a tinted moisturizer but not as thick as a foundation" and its tru! i hate tha thick and/or sometyms uneven look of foundation and tinted moisturizers turn my oily skin into an oil slick. but not this! its smooth, light, easy to blend, sheer coverage (bit more than a tinted moisturizer), AND it doesnt make ma oily skin more oily. plus tha shade light ivory is perfect for my skin, no ash face no orange face, PERFECT. it looks real natural which is important to me but also evens out my skin and covers minor things. only flaw is tha price. only had for a day so i'll update if anything changes.
UPDATE: still luuuvin it! looks perfect AND lasts all day, i was shocked. after applying it it gives a dewy finish but after brushing on some blot powder on my forehead, nose and chin it looks RADIANT reallllyyyyy perty. definitely a keeper
