Soft, slighly sweet musk. Very much a body type musk meant to blend in with skin chemistry and just highlight your natural smell. Clean. The bergamot gives a tinge of citrusey goodness to make sure the vanilla doesn't get too cloying. Drydown less sweet, light musk more dominates. It has a slight iris quality to the fragrance. I like but on the lower end. It's basically a harmless musk and I guess I like my musk less nude and more clothed.

this is one pretty, easy to wear, light powdery sexy musk with a healthy dose of vanilla. I however, do not get any bergamot, but I can't say I'm unhappy about it.

This one isn't for me, but I see why people like it. If you like your musk gentle yet gourmand, go for it!

A decadent Skin-So-Soft. I really like the parfum oil- I prefer them over the edPs.

This, like many AL's I've tried, has a synthetic, "off" note or notes that I just can't get past. I would love to be able too, given her wonderful prices, but I can't. In this case, I went with Perfect Veil instead (which I think this one is trying to emulate) because although it costs more, I don't get any sour/synthetic notes.

The best musk i (a non-musk person, better say a person having problems with musk) have found so far, besides NR for her (my orange blossom musk) and Lorenzo Villoresi Musk (my dusty lavender-rose-musk). But this one is sweeter, the powder and vanilla make it soft and smiling, easy to wear and absolutely addictive!! Thank you helg for the sample!!
I am positively surprised and i feel i don't want to be without it anymore.
Ava Luxe indeed is a genius. I am so happy i found her creations!

Yes yes yes!!!!!!! No doubt and despite how some perfumes are so similar Nude Musk (NM) and Perfect Veil (PV) ARE the same!!!

Hee hee....i sprayed both on my wrists and ended up thinking that NM was PV! I also thought my nose has broken down but no, i was right i just couldn't get over these twins.

I think the best way to decide on which one to choose is
1. Your budget (as NM is cheaper and lasts longer)
2. Which one is better on your skin.

On me NM was only slightly different in initial application but then later it was just like PV which surprised me and lasted much longer! Perhaps i need to re-test ut i'm pretty much sure that PV has a tinge more of complexity in its scent than NM but again test on your skin to confirm this and of the lasting power.

For some reason, this makes me think of lemon merinque pie. The musk is just giving it some depth (thank heavens). In that sense, it is one of the best lemon scents that I have ever smelled. However, it is not animalic or sensual at all.

A clean slightly vanilla musk. It is a touch sweet, but it's nice. I don't know if it's sexy, though. It is a lot like Curve Crush on my skin, and Crush has the added benefits of the chai elements and being a heck of a lot cheaper. Still, it's very nice and I would never turn a bottle away if it wandered into my cabinet.

This sounds so perfect on paper, but it simply does not work on me. Something (the bergamot, I guess, although I've never had an issue with bergamot before) turns Nude Musk sour and bitter on my skin. Shame, because a sandalwood/vanilla skin musk sounds just gorgeous. Worth trying out, certainly, because chemistry is everything. . .but sadly this just doesn't work for me. Oh well, plenty of other wonderful Ava Luxe fragrances to try. (Oh, and if anyone knows of a similar sandalwood/vanilla/skin musk scent sans bergamot, please let me know! TIA!)

This is a very pretty skin-scent type musk that has a slightly woody clean base, I do agree with the Perfect Veil comparison as well. I got this perfume as a gift for my SIL and I hope she likes it. I thought it smelled great, very "her". My own personal preference, is that I prefer other musks over it, such as Skin Musk (the original), Jovan Musk, Amica's Naked Musk, etc., but I think this is a great scent. I just have so many that are similar, I wouldn't buy it for myself.
This is not an animalic smelling scent at all. Just pretty, simple, clean.
Here are the notes from the Ava-Luxe website: "A clean and sexy skin musk with notes of sandalwood, bergamot, light musk, and vanilla. Light and slightly powdery. Long lasting."

I totally agree with BasiaS - Nude Musk IS Perfect Veil. And just to be clear, that's a good thing! I do like Perfect Veil a lot, and Nude Musk is just as nice, and much more affordably priced. Very clean and fresh, and not a heavy musk at all. Sillage is moderate to low - you'll be keeping this one mostly between you and your guy. I wouldn't call this a dressy fragrance, but it's great for casual dress and weekends. I've really enjoyed my sample purchase, and will likely be buying a bottle.

Just a little too sweet, and I'd only be able to tell it from Pearl Musk if I had one on each wrist, if then.

This smells really good. It's another baby soft musk. Very similar to Lily Prune's Cotton Musk. So light and comforting. Now I know what they mean when they say "it stays close to the skin". Not heavy enough to be a going-out-on-the-town fragrance. I'd put this on after my evening shower, before my boy toy came to visit. LOL! It's nothing he'll notice as I greeted him, but will definitely notice one he kissed my neck :)I'd recommend this to someone who'd like to try a very light, snuzzling fragrance.

I will quote aileendq below in her "Good God, I could BATHE in this stuff!" comment. This is a divinely shaped must that both reminds me of a lighter version of AL's Doll Head, and yet hits a spot that no other musk hits. The hint of bergamot must be the key here; it tames the sandalwood down into something lighter, less sweet, and (yes) "plasticky." The bergamot, in fact, slightly sharpens the sandalwood to create a "Cabbage Patch doll that has accidentally picked up a hint of dad's cologne" effect. If a Cabbage Patch Kid could possibly be transgendered, Serena has figured out how. This is clean (yet naughty!) and sweet (yet so rebellious!) Another applause for another wonderful surprise from my new favorite perfumer.

Good God, I could BATHE in this stuff!!! (The former statement contains absolutely no hyperbole whatsoever.) As a devout fan of both sandalwood and musk, I am in Heaven. What a perfect scent! I just recieved this today and I'm beginning to think my search for my HG scent is...dare I say it?...over! Whew! This is a clean, yet not soapy or sharp, skin scent. The sandalwood is immediately recognizable but mellow and rounded, like quality sandalwood should be. The musk is in the background and "anchors" this scent very nicely, as well as pulling your own scent forward, as good musks should. Nude Musk is a tad powdery, lending itself to the just-showered and dusted feel. The bergamot is also beautifully done in porportion and quality, as there is no bitterness. The vanilla is barely there, only sweetening the scent slightly and (at least on me) never getting artificial or plastic-like. The packaging is exactly what I prefer, as well. No frou-frou bottle or label, just a clear square bottle with an understated yet pretty black label. This is what I wanted countless other bottles of fragrance to be. My only regret is that it took so long to discover Ava Luxe. I will be purchasing the oil and a larger Eau de Parfum, as well as trying some of her other musks, next weekend. EDIT: STILL in love with this scent. It smells like "me" and not "perfume". So simple and unfussy. EDIT2: STILL madly in love with this. Haven't worn any other perfume but this. It would just be- wrong.

Nude Musk is basically identical to Perfect Veil by Creative Scentalization - it's a sensual, powdery lemon scent with a warm sandalwood base. If you have Perfect Veil, you don't need this. But if you are looking for a cheaper alternative, this is a very good option. Lasting power is good, also. I would buy this only when I run out of PV. Notes: sandalwood, bergamot, light musk, vanilla.
