I love this lipstick, love the color and since I'm pale it's hard to find a true nude color my only problem with this lipstick is it sinks into cracks and makes my lips look way worse if they are somewhat chapped or dry. I've found the way to fix this is to put a lipgloss over it. The packaging is also really simple and cute, I'm in love!

I love this lipstick and will be purchasing it again!

I've always been a sucker for nude lip colors. My go-to nude shades have been Myth and Crème d'Nude for a long time now. I was afraid Fleshpot would be too whitish for me but I really wanted to try it anyway. I'm glad I did! On me it's a slightly paler version of Crème d'Nude, and a very different finish, of course. I have to say that it nearly *is* too pale whitish for me, but not quite. I just can't apply a heavy layer of it or it will make me look like a corpse. For reference, I'm an NC15 (very golden undertones) with brunette hair and green eyes.

So as I said, I'm really glad I tried it. However, I have to say that I know of (and already own) an exact dupe for it. I don't know if this has already been mentioned but e.l.f.'s Mineral Lipstick in Natural Nymph looks identical to it, even down to the finish. It looks the same in the tube, when swatched on my skin, and when applied to my lips, and it's $10 cheaper! So if you're wanting a cheaper alternative, go for that one.

I love Myth, but Fleshpot looks absolutely hilarious on me. The white, cool base of Fleshpot just does not work on my NC30 complexion and ends up looking too pornstar chic for my liking. It's workable if I dab it on or apply it lightly from the tube and add a bright lipgloss over it, but for me a lipstick should really work on its own. Fleshpot is a satin formula so it wears around 3-4 hours, but I find it to be more drying than MAC's other satin lipsticks (including Myth) and because of the color it emphasizes lip imperfections like crazy. Your lips might feel moisturized and exfoliated to perfection but Fleshpot will find dry flakes to cling to and make them worse as you wear it. If you're fair and cool-toned, this may very well be a flattering nude lipstick on you. Anyone who's an NC20/NW20 and darker will find Fleshpot hard to wear, and for those people I recommend Myth. The pinkness and lack of white in Myth make it so much more flattering than Fleshpot.

I have tried both Fleshpot and Myth, and I can say I prefer Fleshpot. I have very fair skin, blonde hair blue/green eyes, and the pink undertones in this one suit me better. I have enjoyed Myth in the past, but looking back at pictures of myself, it was way too yellowy and concealer-looking. I find Fleshpot is a little less drying, but I still have major lip chap happening at the end of the day if I wear this... (Yes, I have tried tons of different lip treatments and chapsticks before applying). I'm kind of 50/50 about buying this again.. A few years ago it seemed impossible for me to find a true nude lipstick like this, but there seems to be a lot more on the market now that last better and don't completely dehydrate my lips.

For reference, I am NW 20 to NW 25. This is hard lipstick to work with my skin tone. I have no problems with Peachstock or Myth. I believe it has to do with the extremely dry texture and the white undertone. I can make it work by applying a small amount and using it in conjunction with a lip balm, but I feel like I really have to put in a lot of effort just to make it work. I will stick with Myth and not repurchase this.

I found this lipstick at my local CCO over the weekend. It is my HG lipstick. It shows up pinkish on my lips. Will buy again.

I have tons of nude lipsticks, but this is the only one that I will wear now. I am extremely fair (most foundations don't come in shades light enough for my skin tone), and I find a lot of nude lipsticks too brown/peachy for my skin. I like that this one is super light and is more pink than brown/peach.

I have mixed feelings about this product, one day I love it, others not so much. I LOVE THE SMELL, it's just something about MAC lipsticks and that vanillaesque scent. It's tricky to put on, I'm NC40 and I feel if I put it on by itself and swipe it on it gives me concealer lips and settles into my lines. If I dab and blend it works so much better and definitely with a lip balm underneath. I can put this under another lipstick to give the other one a more "creamy" look if you understand what I mean. It settles into my lines some days and others it doesn't. Your lips have to be in great shape all the time in order to wear this and I think that the lipstick shouldn't be so high maintenance. I was lucky to get this for 10 dollars at a warehouse sale so I didn't spend too much on it and I have enough uses for it to use it up, but I won't be repurchasing this and I'll try out other nudes.

My favorite nude lipstick. I absolutely love it. Your lips do have to be properly exfoliated and moisturized though or it will definitely show up. My hg nude lip<3

Bought this yesterday ....very interesting lipstick. The application needs learning as by itself, smeared on it can be concealer stripper lips ( not a good look doh,)
Needs to be dabbed onto the lips after moisturizer or balm and then....
Great nude
Lasts for hours
Stayed put through a dinner party...very impressed
Think it is now available only on Mac pro...but I bought mine on eBay .
Will last and last as it needs so little to achieve the effect.
Another Mac staple...myth with a hunt if palest honey tone.

Definitely one of my all time favorite MAC nude lipsticks! This is super nude though, and I can't see this working on certain skintones. I'm an NC40 and paired with a smokey eye, it looks fantastic. Because it's a satin finish, it can be slightly drying, and you definitely want to make sure your lips are in good shape to pull this off as the satin formula can tend to highlight any imperfections or dryness. That said, paired w/ BBQ lipliner and topped w/ gloss, this is about as nude as it gets. I adore this lipstick overall and it's definitely one of my top nude lipsticks in my stash of 100+ lippies!

From the permanent line.

This is a lot like Myth (fair, NC/NW15-type shade), only pinker. It's a nice color, satin (not too drying, less shiny than a lustre). With a light hand (if you're worried about it going too light / applying too heavily and showing up lighter than your skin) it can look really nice, and applies pretty evenly. Goes on very opaque. Very opaque. I have a thing for nude lips so I like this pinkened one. :)

This is the first lipstick I purchased from MAC. I am after very nude lipsticks, and since I'm cool tone I needed to find a good nude lipstick with cooler undertones. Most nude lipsticks I own have a peachy undertone which tends to wash me out but this definitely does the trick for me. The lipstick is flesh colored but has a nice pink undertone to it. It is very pigmented so you don't need a lot of it, I literally just apply it and kind of blend it in with my fingers for a more muted, natural look. I use my MAC liner in Nude so it helps with keeping the lipstick in place all day. I also tend to pair it with a nice pink tone gloss as it helps to minimize the "concealer look". I know a lot people complain it's too drying and it tends to emphasize the cracks in their lips but the key to avoiding that is MOISTURIZE. By that I mean every night before you go to bed put on a good lip treatment ( I use one by avon). Also every 2 days or so exfoliate your lips by rubbing them with a towel just after you get out from the shower, this will take off any dead skin and soften your lips. The most important step is to put a light lip balm before you apply this lipstick, I use one by soft lips, after I do my foundation I apply a small amount and massage it into my lips since over applying will just make the lipstick slide off, key here is to apply just a small amount, then I do the rest of my makeup and let the lipbalm soak into my lips, I apply my lip liner and then this lipstick, lastly I finish with a gloss and that's it, should solve the dry lip issue. I know it's a lot of work for a lipstick, but the color looks so beautiful on me it's way worth it. Also it's a bit expensive for me but it will last forever since it's so pigmented you don't need to use a lot.

A perfect nude with a hint of pink on me. A bit shocking and concealer-ish when applied (I sure was shocked :))), but the KEY IS TO BUFF AND SMUDGE IT WITH YOUR FINGER afterwards to blur the harsh lip line and make it appear more natural. Then you can put on some lip gloss, but if you moisturised your lips and you've done the finger thing you may not even feel like you need a gloss.
But I do like to experiment with glosses on top of it, I love the look of NYX Mega Shine lip gloss in Miami Base on top, result is the prettiest most natural nude lip, love it! :)

As a girl with Angelina Jolie lips who is constantly craving nude lipsticks, Fleshpot is love! Sure, it is very comparable to Myth, Creme d'Nude, Equality, and the like, but it's also nice in its own right. As with any MAC Satin lipstick, I apply a thin layer of a lightweight, slick balm, like Yes to Carrots Lip Butter (just say no to Burt's Bees! It makes lipsticks go on with much more effort and tugging, and fill in the lines even more, in my experience). I like to wear this with some mascara and blush for a simple look, but it's absolutely perfect for a dark smoky eye as well. It never looks too "dead" or "concealer" to me. I love it and will continue to repurchase in the future. I am NC20-25 with dark brown hair and green-hazel eyes, for reference.

This lipstick is IT for me. I own Myth and Creme de' Nude, among loads of other non-MAC pale nude lipsticks, and this is the best of them all. The color is just right - not too peachy but not overly pink. This formula is the same as Myth but for some reason isn't as drying for me. I can really load on the color without the product sliding around and settling into the lines of my lips, or I can dab it on for a more sheer application. I like a REALLY pale lip, which is so simple with this lipstick. A lot of my other lipsticks need a concealer base to get my lips as pale as I like them. I love that Fleshpot is just one step for me. As with all lipsticks, you need moisturized, exfoliated lips for this baby to look its best. I will definitely repurchase this when I run out. I might even buy a few backups when my next paycheck rolls in!

This is my absolute favourite lipstick and I wera it pretty much every day! It is a matte nude colour with a hint of pink and adds a very sixties twist to dark eyeshadows. I would say it is very versatile although may make paler skin more washed out but looks fab with a tan!

I bought mine a while ago from the Heatherette collection at MAC so its in a bright candy pink case with silver hologram - instantly recognisable in my make up bag!

Sadly I have just about run out of this but am definitely going to re-purchase :)

I got this in the pro store after reading the reviews on here. It's a pink/ beige nude that looks great with a smoky eye. Its a lot more flattering and easier to wear than Myth. A must have for any nude loving lip girl- would buy again, it's become a staple for me.
