Lexi is an unusual shade, I'd describe it as a smoky mauve metallic with a strong green/blue duochrome flash. Application is average, all Zoyas I've tried tend to flood your cuticles if you're not careful. I used Beauty Secrets moisturizing base coat (available at Sally Beauty) and had good results with it. This polish does have good drag time, especially for a metallic paint, you have time to pull the brush lines out. 3 coats to complete opacity with no VNL. I like this color, ya know how when your polish collection gets over the 100+ count and you inevitably end up with some dupes, I feel like this is a pretty unique shade.

Zoya's Lexi is a frosty metallic medium-light warm-toned rose polish with a sometimes pink/sometimes green flash. Under ambient indoor lighting the green flash makes this color a rather boring muddy rose. However, under fluorescent lighting the pink flash really stands out and makes for a very pretty metallic rose. My problem with this is that I'm seeing it mostly under ambient lighting and not liking the muddiness.
As to application, the Zoya brush is way too short so I switched to an OPI Prowide. The frosty finish of Lexi makes application slightly difficult because of the brush strokes. Also, it was very gloopy and thick. It was mostly opaque in two coats but I usually do three - I should have stopped at two as the entire manicure bubbled on all my nails with the third coat. I did not have a drying time issue as I used Seche Vite over the top.
As to wear time, after two days the whole mani had turned extremely dull (even under the Seche Vite). I had this problem also with another Zoya color.
All in all, I'm liking the basic color of Lexi but not the green flash and not the frosty finish. However, the green flash makes this too warm and the overall effect is not flattering on my very pale with slight yellow undertoned complexion. I "might" use this one again but I won't be buying another.

This is a very unique gorgeous shade that is a little hard to describe. Its a shimmery lavender/rosy/mauve with a touch of frost and a slight flash of green. Kind of reminds me of a much darker OPI Shanghi Shimmer. The coverage was great with two coats and like all other Zoyas I've tried, has good staying power.
