Its green lol....I love it tho. It comes out a yellow green color I use a MAC cork lip liner with it and it looks Good!!! I think they dont make this any more because I have not been able to find it. They now sell one like it but has glitter. Have not tried it yet. But will keep you posted.

The first mac lipglass I ever bought! Memories! now they only have spring beam which is the same but with glitter, right?
Well I remember putting this on and my lips would be like yellow-orange, not really green. But it was such a refreshing lipglass! so nice for the summer.
It's a unique color obviously... haha, well, I would definitely repurchase cuz it looked cute.

i think this looks ok on, despite the green tint. i'm rather fair skinned, and it's NOT all honey or gold colored, it's definitely greenish... but i think it looks kind of cool, personally. my boyfriend however was thoroughly wtf'ed by it. his comment "what did you eat?" assuming i'd had a green popsicle or something. but i like it, so whatever.

the only problem i have with it is the same problem i have with ALL mac lip glasses- they're sticky and have a funky consitency which i just hate. this one is unique enough to put up with that, but the majority of lipglass colors can be approximated with other brands that aren't so gunk-like, so i generally avoid lipglass.

This was the first shade of MAC Lipglass I ever saw. I really like it. I have tan olive skin so on me it doesn't look weird. It does look yellowish green on the lips, but in a very attractive way.
It smells great like all MAC lip glosses and it is super smooth, not too sticky.

I got this color a few years back because I wanted to achieve a real nude lips look and got the tip from a magazine. Squirt is a lime green shade and does not disappoint unless you don't have pigmented lips, like me, but I apply it over my nude lipcolor & it neutralises the pink in the color leaving behind a sexy caramel shade that compliments my Asian complexion.

If I apply it over my bare lips, I may get a hint of yellow/green which makes me self conscious. Lipglass is also a longlasting lipgloss but it can get a little sticky when over-applied. If you don't like the stickiness, just lightly blot with a tissue

I bought this because I was looking for a perfect nude lipgloss with no shimmer, and some MUAers recommended MAC Squirt. I thought this might work for me because I had MAC Springbean and loved it. I figured Squirt would have the same effect as Springbean, just without the shimmer. WRONG!

Squirt did not give me the "honey" colored lips that Springbean did. Squirt was just plain GREEN. Like "Slimer" on Ghostbusters. Not flattering!

Thus I am still on the hunt for that perfect nude, no-shimmer lip gloss.

Thankyou thankyou thankyou to the MAC SA who recommended this for me. On my pigmented lips it turns a gorgeous honey shade - never found another lip product that does this on my superpigmented lips! Over red it really ooomphs it up, over a coral/peach I cannot describe the shade adequately enough. Beautiful! Scary in the tube, friends think I'm crazy, not for everyone. But for me - it's a love affair!

Ug.

I WISH this looked honey on my lips.

This is, quite frankly, a sheer *green* gloss. Even on my pinky, pigmented lips, Squirt shines *green.* I simply cannot wear this.

This is truly a HG lipgloss for me. I've gone through tube after tube of color looking for something resembling honey/gold. Gold glosses look clear or nonexistent on my african-american skin and brown glosses were too opaque to be perfect. MAC's Spring Bean lipglass was close to what I wanted but not quite deep enough and the microglitter migrated all over my face. Squirt lipglass is honey perfection. Light brown and gold together while still letting the color and texture of your lips show through. If you spread too much on there is a danger of Squirt appearing lime green where it builds up but I never need to put on a thick coat since it's so shiny. I also find that my lips look smoother and full, which is a bonus. I'll be stocking up on extra tubes.

As makeup artist, this gloss is great! Looks a little scary in the tube but over bright pigmented lips it comes across like honey. I understand the post about pale skin not being great for this, but use it over a lipstick that is to warm and it makes it a great neutral.

I just bought this and tried it..and while I love the smell and the texture, Squirt does not work for pale people. I tried this over a caramel-color lipliner and it looked like a clear honey color on my lips, but then when I went outside, the yellow in the gloss was still visible. Swatched on my hand, it just looked bright yellow. I'm sure this would look fabulous on people with darker skin and/or more pigmented lips, but hard to pull off if you're pale. I'm swapping this away.

I really wanted this gloss to work for me since it's such a funky, cool green color and I read the reviews that said it turns a nice warm honey, caramel color.

When I applied it, I did see some caramel-honey color, but there was a green overcast that never went away :( I even tried applying it super light, but there was still greenish-yellowish overcast :(

I am giving it 3 stars because its still a good gloss, I like the vanilla scent and I think it would work well on others with a different lip pigmentation. Oh well back to gloss.com it goes :(

I love this product, however the disclaimer is that I have dark skin and my lips are also dark, so I think this color works better for people of color. Having said that, I use this with the Chestnut lipliner and blend the two really well. The end result is a high-gloss look with just a hint of golden-brown color. It's a very sheer look, and I have yellow undertones in my skin, so I think it complements very well.

Oh Squirt, I wanted so much to love you. I have a fascination with funky-colored glosses, so I decided to try this one. I have pigmented lips, so I figured it would work just fine. When I put it on and looked in the mirror, it looked like a nice brown color. However, when I went outside and looked in my rearview mirror in the daylight, it was yellow. So this gloss is only something I could wear inside in fairly dim light, but whenever I'm wearing it I worry that it looks yellow. I almost never wear this gloss, so I wouldn't buy it again. The texture and scent are just fine, but the color...

A fluorescent lemon lime in the tube, but a clear golden honey on the lips. The more pigmented the lips are the better--when I first tried it, it was on the way home in the car after buying it, when my lips were cold from the winter weather(yes my husband was driving-it was safe except for every time I had him look at my mouth while I asked "Is it yellow, is it yellow?") and I was really worried it was greeny but once I got home and my entire being warmed up it was a gorgeous shiny honey color! How odd. A "be careful but have fun" kind of color!

Wow!!! I love that lipglass. I remember my self looking at it at the mac counter thinking: " who the f*** wears bright neon green lipglass!!??? " Then I was so curious and I tried and WOW!!! When you aply it at first you see the green but then it sinks-in and it gives very natural golden honey lips. It also softens your lips, Oh and I love this vanilla sent.
EDIT: One year later when I finished the tube a couple months ago. I will re-think the repurchase since I find lipglass a bit sticky, I like lustreglass better now.

UPDATE: I wouldn't repurchase, because MAC got a lot of garbage chemicals in their product. Lipglass is mostly petroleum based products!

(Another version of this is Lure-X lipglass, which is bright yellow and gives the same honeyed, peachy look, but is a bit more subtle). Been lemming this ever since I saw it featured in a magazine. "Squirt" is a bright, neon-green in the tube, but on my rosy-mauve, medium-pigmented lips, it turns into a warm, honeyed, peachy-nude color. Very pretty and the perfect pale 'nude' lip for summer. The texture is thick and sticky like the other lipglasses, and there's the same light vanilla-ish scent. Be sure to apply only a thin layer of this and to smooth it out (and in front of a mirror!) as evenly as possible, or you'll look like you've been feasting on ectoplasm!

I didn't actually purchase this but I did try it. And yes, this tube of gloss does stand out from the rest with it's neon green color :P I couldn't find Spring Bean until today so I searched and found Squirt weeks ago and decided to try it. After putting an ample amount of gloss on lol, it showed up sheer orange brown which wasn't that bad but the lining of my lips was yellow which looked weird...I probably put too much on but it wasn't very attractive and my lips aren't very pigmented so I'm not even sure if the amount I put would affect the color. I'm sure it would look very flattering on girls with pigmented lips. I won't purchase but I still highly recommend to those who have lips that are pigmented enough :)

At first I liked it but now I'm in agreement with clare0325.

Other people like it, but all I see (from less than a metre) is green. I feel like I've drawn on my lips with yellow highlighter.

From further away it looks nice. But I'm slightly uncomfortable with it.
