In my early twenties I had super-abused my hair with a bad dye and poor chemical "fix" and thought I'd just have to chop my long hair and start over. My future mother-in-law said she'd told the "lady at the dept store counter what I'd done" and bought me this. And so began a love affair with this pak and an introduction to products which can't be bought at the drugstore. I've used it for years now and it's my sole conditioner. I've recently gone "no-poo" (so unfortunately named) and so I only use a baking soda rinse (1tsp bs to 1c h2o) in place of shampoo every other day and apply this from nape down after that for two minutes. My long, now naturally honey-colored hair is luxurious and happy. Best. Conditioner. Ever. And when the no-poo "shampoo" is essentially a penny, this tub is easily a worthwhile splurge.

It's an average hair mask but it's way too pricey so I wouldn't purchase it again. Not a huge fan of the smell either, it reminded me of The Body Shop's Rainforest Hair Butter. Does feel soft after using the mask, but I feel like the effect is gone by the next wash. I just can't justify buying another tub of this since it's so expensive.

I have greying dyed hair with highlights. The grey is coarse and the non grey extremely fine. This product made my hair soft and shiny and the smell is fantastic. I took off one star because I still have some flyways. I would purchase again.

I absolutely love this stuff! I have very fine color treated blonde hair that tends to dry out easily, especially when I straighten/ blow dry. I have never found a product before that actually seems to moisturize and smooth down my flyaways and split ends and I am so impressed at how soft it is. Definitely will be a repurchase!

This was disappointing. I was given a gift card and because my hair usually responds well to olive oil I thought this might be a good choice, I was still cringing at the cost of it though, over $50 for a hair mask, even though I wasn't actually paying for it. So I tried it and it did nothing special, my hair was softer and shinier, but it made it quite lank and sat flat on my head and became greasy quickly, and I have thick hair. Even when I tried it again and didn't put it on the top of my head it made the rest of my hair seem limp and thin. So it was just a average conditioner, you could get the Garnier Nutrisse 1 minute hair mask for $2 and get a better outcome.

i used a sample of this conditioner on damp hair and left it on overnight. after washing it out with my regular shampoo and conditioner my hair was noticeably softer, shinier and bouncier, without being weighed down - a great result. i may just have to buy this one. the only thing that's missing is a clean sexy scent ;-)

[hair type: normal leaning to dry, unprocessed, long, thick, curly with a tendency to frizz]

Very nice product. Leaves my hair smooth, not weighted down, and soft. Admittedly, my hair isn't that damaged, and I don't use it quite as directed. My hair is almost virgin except for a couple of recent clear gloss treatments. Instead of applying on wet, just-shampooed hair and leaving in for several minutes before rinsing as directed, I put this on dry hair, leave it on until dry, then shampoo without reapplying. Be careful when rinsing, because it makes the shower / tub floor slippery. I'll continue to use and would recommend it for anyone except oily hair.

Keeping in mind that my hair is extremely dry/damaged, this did not fit the bill as well as my Joico Kpak stuff did!

I do not enjoy hair products that cause my hair to feel still damaged right after coming out of the shower, and I also do not enjoy it if my hair becomes extremely greasy within 2 days. With this, it resulted with both.

D: I'm not sure how it compares to drugstore conditioners/hair masks as I use neither, but after I finish this (messy of a tub), I will go back to my kPak hydrator.

Apparently, we are supposed to keep this in for 20 minutes as well! And it still didn't do as good of a job as my other conditioners that are only leave in for 3-5 minutes...

And this is more expensive too so.. ;_;

This masque has been nothing short of amazing on my hair ....... I use it as a regular conditioner after the matching shampoo and pleased with my results. I have been using drugstore brands in the past year, but always splurge on this masque and lately with my favorite cheaper brands making my hair looking blah, I splurged on some new Kiehls items in their haircare line and have been very pleased. The masque is awesome for anyone with dry hair or even normal hair ........ my hair does better if it is heavily moisturized and this masque fits the bill ....... highly recommended.

HG Conditioner!!

Yes I use this as a conditioner!! I know they have the Olive Fruit Oil Conditioner too, but really its just a diluted version of this for a similar price. Might as well use the Hair Pak since its more concentrated and thus lasts longer!

I have boob length, straight, highlighted asian hair and this is the only product that doesn't leave my hair in dreadlocks in the winter (i get dreadlocks from hair rubbing against my coats, scarves etc). It doesn't weigh my hair down and I've never noticed any buildup of product.

It feels amazing, smells nice and WORKS like no other. I've tried drugstore and high end (fekkai, loccitane, phyto, aveda, etc) and nothing compares to this conditioner.

I've used this for nearly 5 years straight now and have no plans to switch!

the best the best the best. i have long dry highlighted hair and nothing leaves it smoothe or shinier. i used to be a devotee of kerastase's masquintense but this is superior. if you have dry or damaged hair give this a try.

One of my favorite deep conditioner, I'm on my second tub now and will keep buying. I have the dark asian hair. It works all the time, when my hair is dry, it helps moisturized it, now that I cut it shoulder length and it much healthier than before, it still does a great job at keeping it hydrate without weighting my hair down. Although I think that if your hair is really dry and brittle, it might not do such a good job as deep conditioner, it will help tho. I think its perfect for semi-trouble hair.
Texture: It's cream like texture, you just scoop it off the tub to use. The smell is nice, not too heavily fragrance.
Price: not bad at all, medium price range. A tub will last me several months. Although I must note that the price in Asia is much higher than in the US.
Pro: not weight hair down, like the smell, keep my hair healthy
Con. It will be easier to use if it come in a tube than a tub.

Love this hair pak.

I'm basically addicted to coloring my hair (about once every 3-4 months) and this treatment is the only thing I've tried that actually seems to give consistently good results. I have long, almost waist length hair and I use this every other day because my hair is usually VERY dry. I don't feel that this weighs my hair down at all - you're only supposed to run it through the bottom length of your hair and concentrate on the ends, and that's what I do so my hair remains voluminous the whole day. Took one rating off because of the steep cost and inconvenient packaging - however, this product is still HIGHLY recommend!

I just tried this product and I have to say that I like it. I had to pay $33+5% tax in Panama for this product.

I have long, black, permed, dyed hair and it's pretty damaged/dry so I wanted to try this out. I'm glad I did. I just left it on for 2 minutes and it left my hair silky and smooth.

I don't know about shine, but it's definitely softer.

This is my current once a week deep conditioner. Previously I was using Ojon's hair mask. I think I like this one better!

Pro's:
you get RESULTS!
scent
short leave-in time

Con's:
The only thing I could thing is that some people may have an issue with this conditioner taking away their hair's volume for the day.

I always get compliments after I use this. It makes my hair extremely manageable and silky smooth. I would recommend this 100%.

well.. i cant say that this product absolutely didnt work, but it did for the first couple of days... then somehow my hair started to dry out real bad...and plus I started to have breakouts all over my body (I never have breakouts on my body)... probaby cuz when I wash my hair out after using the conditioner it got stuck to my skin...
also I should mention that it made my shower tub super slippery! so beware!!

I have blond, fine and wavy hair that gets tangled and lifeless pretty easily. I got a few samples of this conditioner at Kiehl's after reading the rave reviews here. I really like it!!!! It leaves my hair smooth, silky and shiny without weighing it down. So far I've only used it as a rinse-out conditioner in the shower and my hair looks very healthy every time. The tub is pretty expensive for my budget and I'm holding off on buying it until I run out of the samples, but this is definitely one I'm going to keep in mind!

Age: 25-29   Skin: Dry, Medium, Neutral   Hair: Brunette, Wavy, Medium   Eyes: Brown

I was looking for a deep treatment that didn't just coat my hair down with silicones and suffocate my hair shaft. I ran across this pak, read the ingredients which all seem pretty good, and gave it a try. Im glad to say it met my expectations since I was not expecting a miracle. I have waist-long, thin hair but lots of it, and by lots I mean a lottt every hairdresser I've had says I have enough hair for three wigs. My hair also tends to be dry from the ears down and for this reason and the fact that I have so much hair I get hundreds of knots and frizz, so I need a conditioner not only that will hydrate my hair but also soften it and make it easy to detangle. This conditioner leaves my hair soft and healthy looking but not as moisturized as I would like. It is also not the best detangler out there, but it does soften it up quite a bit. However, this never weighs down my hair and leaves my hair soft and bouncy after I use my hot rollers. This is a pretty good conditioner if you are looking for something to soften the hair naturally without weighting it down and coating it with silicones.
