I regret buying this. I bought it when the SA told me that it was going to be discontinued, so I wanted to own at least one lipgelee in every color. It was a bad idea. I wish I exchanged this for Moistly because that's the only gelee I see myself using frequently. The formulation is amazing because it is cushiony and moisturizing, but lasts at the same time. I find lipgelees to be much more superiour to lipglasses. This color on me shows up as the frostiest color I've worn and I find that it looks cheap, so I can only use it extremely sparingly, mixing a tiny speck of it with other lip products. However, I don't have the luxury to mix my lipcolor every morning and everytime I want to touch up, so this basically is of no use for me. I will not repurchase this color.

This is one of my favorite glosses! My boyfriends sister loves it too so I bought her one before they got discontinued!
I would describe the color as a champagne pink. To me, it isn't really pink. It is really shimmery, but in a good way. It really brings light to the lips! I usually use it if I use browns and champagne colors on my eyes.
Also, this one isn't so sticky *I don't care about stickiness in a gloss.* It has a nice slick texture to it. I don't mind having to reapply it.
I would buy it again but I am not a gloss junkie so I will probably have mine for a while anyways!!

Oh moonstone lipgelee, how i adore you. Perfect for that frosty pink look! It is sincerely as shimmery and frosty as it appears to be! Once again I got this at a makeup outlet store for $10 so it was a complete steal! It's a great lipgloss to have and is not sticky at all! A very comfortable gloss and for you pink frost lovers, this ones perfect for you!

This is my favorite lipgloss of all time and now it's been discontinued! I'm so sad. Why does MAC do this with so many of their best products? So frustrating! I love the subtle look of this by itself (tones down my very pigmented lips), or over lipstick and it matches with almost any look. Guess I'm on the lookout for a new HG lipgloss, but in the meantime I will be stockpiling for sure.

This is a really pretty pale frosty pink gloss. I love the consistency, its really smooth and makes your lips feel great. The color is perfect to add to the center of your lips over whatever lip color you have on to make them look fuller. Love it!

I bought this at my local CCO and i like the color of this lipgelee its very nice for summer and it goes well with my skintone in the summertime. Its a light light shimmery pale pink and to me it looks like it has some beige undertones in it.
and this gloss really moustrizes my lips well and doesnt leave them dry or flaky

This lipgelee look's really nice over my nude lipstick. I really don't care for it alone. Like others have said after you rub you lips together it's just a clear gloss w/ a little shimmer.

This is a very pretty colour, but I find with Mac Lipgelees that the pigment isn't wonderful. It's best to put the gloss over a lipstick which serves as a base. I have done this, with stunning results! I think the colour would suit most people, but perhaps not a very dark complexion.

I love this lipgelee. I love all MAC lipglasses/glosses. This is so much different than a lipglass. It doesn't have much staying power, but it is only a soft, smooth, jelly gloss. (I don't hold stickiness against MAC lipglasses because that's what gives it the staying power that I need, but...) This gloss isn't sticky AT ALL. In the tube, and when the gel comes out, it looks like it will be a Lustreglass-like color with a thick metallic shine. I have so many of those already though! This is barely pink with shimmer that only shows up as shine. It is a baby pink color, but my lips are pigmented enough that some natural color shows through and I don't have cotton candy lips (a good look for some, just not me.) Just a moist, soft, slick shine. Even though this doesn't quite have the lasting power that I crave, but it's so pretty, subtle, and easy to apply that I don't mind doing it whenever I need to!!
I think this gloss would look good on the fairest to the darkest woman. It's not so light that it washes you out, and it's not one of those pinks that only looks good with a tan!

My first lipgelee. Love the texture and how it's NOT AT ALL super-sticky like Lipglass. It's so smooth and soft. I really like the way it goes on. The color is beautiful. I like frosty, shimmery pinks and this one is just right, not see through and not bright. Looks really good over subculture liner and Hue l/s. Can't wait to experiment more with this!

This is the perfect overcoat for any lipstick! Lipgelees, of course, are much smoother and not sticky like lipglass. I brought this in my purse to a wedding I was the maid of honour at in September, and the bride and the rest of the bridesmaids were loving it! I'm so glad this is perm because I think we went through half my tube that day! This is a staple for every makeup kit. It has the power to make darker/evening lippies into daytime lippies. Great for travel too, when you can only pack so much makeup! Kind of boring on its own, so I always wear over lipsticks!

My favorite lipgloss so far! The color is a frosty pale peachy pink with sparkles and goes on lips like a sheer veil of gold. The smell (vanilla) is divine and there's no annoying taste. The texture is non sticky (for MAC) and creamy, application is easy thanks to the squeeze tube with slanted tip. You also get 15ml/.5 OZ for the $ HG material for me since I love to wear either bright or dark e/s and don't like spending too much time on my lips. Moonstone is simply perfect <3

This is a good pink lipgloss, and like others have said the chrome look goes away when you rub your lips together. Either way, I loved the color and the non-sticky factor, but wished it was longer lasting.

I picked this up because I cannot resist a light pink gloss. I like this because it does look frosty when applied, but that is remedied by rubbing your lips together a little bit. It is a very cool, very light pink, with silver sparkle. I feel that this dries my lips out a little bit so that is why I took a lippie off, but I can probably stop that by wearing a lipbalm underneath. Very pretty color though! Edit: Swapped this away because it was KILLING my lips by chapping them horribly!

I love the texture and the colour; really pretty on my very red lips. Will probably last quite some time as the tube is 15ml, a lot of lip glosses are only 5ml so it's good value for money. One lippie off because I wish it would last a little longer. Overall, it's a beautiful lip gloss and I'll repurchase.

The previous reviewer did a great job describing 'Moonstone' Lipgelee, but I thought I'd add my own review as well. I was not too surprised to see MAC recycle the name 'Moonstone', haha (I have a regular formula LE Lipglass with the exact name.) The color of the Lipgelee is different than the Lipglass, though. I played around with colors in my stash & Goldenaire pigment mixed with Shimmertime pigment is the same color as Moonstone; pale muted pink w/ a hint of pale fleshy tan. Moonstone is quite shimmery & perfect for highlighting lips, or wearing alone with bold eyes.I'm a big fan of the Lipgelee formula & have several. They aren't too sticky & smell wonderful (vanilla buttercreme frosting!) Moonstone is a nice addition to my collection. The SA was mistaken (as per usual, it seems!) & told me this color was LE. Well, it's not; no triangle of death on MAC's site, yay!

This is a light pink lipgloss with silver sparkles. At first it applies very frosty- similar to the Chromeglass- but it doesn't last. When you rub your lips together, it makes the chrome-look go away and all you are left with is glossy lips. On me, this is almost a clear gloss, as it gives me very little color. A faint, pink gloss, that's about it... nothing spectacular- at least not to me. Identical to MAC's other lipgelees in smell, taste, texture, and durability. Would probably repurchase other lipgelees, but I doubt I would buy Moonstone again. Similar to MAC's other lipgelee named, "Who's That Lady?"
