Wet, on first application this reminded me of something caramel like...but then it changed to a amber like fragrance. Must be the myrrh?
On the dry down, it is mostly sandalwood, warm and inviting. It's one of my favorite notes.
It is very incensy, sexy and slightly dark.
A keeper!!!

notes: Dry white sandalwood and soft Siamese benzoin over a lugubrious blend of myrrh, Moroccan rose, mastic, tomb moss and a thin whiff of Greek incense.
in the vial: resinous, smoky, delicate rose
wet on skin: nearly the same as in the bottle, but the deep, dark side is more pronounced.
dry down: on me, it has stages of being either too smoky and not smoky enough! that keeps it interesting, i suppose! when i breathe deeply, i amost get a whiff of vetiver, which does combine beautifully with rose.
verdict: the rose in this blend is the same type thats in other BPAL blends that i enjoy. its an innocent, light, fresh rose. its not in your face or overtly sexy or deep. i can practically smell the greenery. one of their best rose blends, IMO.

What a beautiful, green, lush and resinous rose! I'm usually not one for rosey scents, but the moss and incense loosen the rose up a bit and add a charming touch.
This scent is definately a unisex one, and I feel that it would be ever so sexy on a man. Yum!
