I've been using this off and on since I was a teenager (along time). I don't know why I stray (maybe thinking there is something new and better). I don't wear waterproof anything so I can't comment on removal of those products, but for me it removes my shadows and mascara without burning, blurring or leaving an oily mess. I like the plastic bottle (old heavy glass bottle wasn't good for travel), and I like the soft scent. I think I'll stop experimenting with other products and just to stick to this one. If it ain't broke don't fix it, right. I do recommend it.

This is my favorite eye make-up remover. I have been using it for years and nothing beats it. I tried many other products that burn the eyes, this one doesn't. However I don't use waterproof mascara, so I don't know if it would be a good product for waterproof make-up.

This product is indeed gentle but the only reason I would not buy it again is because it does not remove my eyeliner gel! it requires me to rub my eye again and again to remove it. this is often the problem with gentle product in that it is good for sensitive skin but not effective in removing the tough makeup (waterproof etc...)

I used this for years with no problem. I don't know whether they have changed the formula, or whether my skin is just getting sensitive to alcohol as I get older, but I used it last night for the first time in ages, and I now have dry eyelids, and tight, red and sore skin around my eyes. Now, this may be because I've been using Roc Wrinkle Correxion night cream with retinol, which would have made my skin extra sensitive, but I didn't put the Roc on my eyelids, so I think the alcohol in the Klorane must be partly to blame. Alcohol does seem like an odd thing to put in skincare for the eyes. I won't be buying this again.

I have been using this since I was a teenager. I think it's gentle, smells nice & works really well. It doesn't leave an oily film, or irritate my eyes like a lot of other eye makeup removers do.

I used the version for waterproof mascara. It's nowhere near as effective as dual-phase eye make-up removers and involves much more rubbing. My biggest issue with this is that it's much too strongly scented for something to be used around the eyes.

I was using clinique's eye make up remover before I tried this. I bought this online so when it came to my door step I decided to give it a try. WOW. This is so soothing & it doesn't irritate my sensitive eyes at all. Needless to say I stopped using cliniques. But once I run out of this I'll finish clinique up & repurchase this klorane one. I can't rave enough about how this feels when you swipe it across your eye. Works great.
---EDIT---THIS DID NOT WORK WELL AT TAKING OFF EYE MAKE UP WHEN I WORE WATERPROOF MASCARA. OTHER THAN THAT, IT WORKS JUST FINE.

Very good eye makeup remover for those with sensitive eyes. None oily, it's supposed to have the same ph as tears. Use this when allergy are really acting up and can barely tolerate anything. Can't think of any cons

Klorane eye make-up remover is a favourite product of mine . I've been buying it for years. It's great for sensitive eyes, cleanses well and extremely gentle. I think it conditions my eyelashes as well. I have very long eyelashes that can get dry and brittle if I use harsh products but since I started usinf Klorane I noticed my eyelashes look shinier and better. I'm not sure how it would clean heavy eye-make up as I only use a tiny bit of eyeliner/pencil around my eyes and concealer. Still even if you need to use a heavier MU remover around your eyes, I think this product would be a great last step to take away any left over residue and condition your lashes. The price is ok as it lasts a long while and worth it for me as it is such a gentle and effective cleanser. If you are removing heavy mascara, it's best to saturate cotton buds with the product and apply on the lashes with a downward motion for better cleaning effect instead of rubbing your eyes with cotton balls. Ingredients; water, butylene glycol, centaurea cyanus flower water, poloxamer 184, hexylene glycol, PEG-6caprylic/capric glycerides, acid blue 3, phenethyl alcohol, sodium chloride, trisodium EDTA.

I like this product a lot. I usually use it before I cleanse my face by jsute rubbing a lot of water over my makeup so I look kind of like a racoon (not very interesting to see) and take a napkin or towel to remove whatever is wet. I then use a cotton pad with quite an amount of this product (it's not soaked but it's close to it) and dab my eyes a bit, then i rub it in a few times, and rinse with water, then repeat. I do it just to get most of it out because my cleanser doesnt really remove make up that well, but if you have a cleanser that does, there's no need to repeat. After i do this i repeat witht he next eye and remove the water with a napkin. It does dry the bottom of your eyes so make sure to use lots of lotion after. Overall, it is a very good make up remover, but I just bought an other make up remover, much cheaper but hopefully with the same effects. I will write a review on it very soon. Hope this helped! (:

This is effective at removing make-up but it irritated the hell out of my eyes. Not only did it sting my eyes and the area around it when I applied it, it has also dried out my eyes to the point that I can't wear my contacts anymore. It just hurts to wear them. I have been using the same brand contacts and fluid for years and this is the only thing I changed in my eye-routine, so I'm sure its this. I'm now wearing my glasses, hoping my eyes will go back to normal soon. I hate wearing my glasses, so I harbor a special kind of resentment towards this product.
Years ago when I still used waterproof make-up I remember using the waterproof version of this with no problems. I don't know what it is that makes this one so different, but this trash goes where it belongs: the garbage bin.

My favorite eye makeup remover. I don't really care for the scent to much but i'm not leaving it on my face so i can deal. I love how it doesn't leave an oily residue. Doesn't blurr my eyes or sting.

CONS: none
PROS: this is the best makeup remover on the market for those on a budget. I got the 400ml on sale for $14.99 CDN b4 taxes (regular price is $18.99 CDN b4 taxes). It removes heavy duty makeup and sunscreens, leaving the skin very soft and dewy. No need to rinse but you can if you want to. Unlike Neutrogena oil-free eye makeup remover which I was using prior to finding Klorane, it's not oily at all, and does not leave any kind of oily residue yet it's tough on "difficult to remove" makeup. The pump system (for the 400ml bottle) whereby you simply press and the product comes up is so easy to use and very efficient. Neutrogena one costs about $10 or $11 CDN b4 taxes (on sale it goes down to about $8 or $9 CDN b4 taxes) for 162ml. When you buy 2 Neutrogena ones, you get 324ml and the cost is about $20 - $22 CDN b4 taxes, so you can see how you are actually saving money with Klorane even if you bought it at regular price. Plus, you also save your time, money and effort by not needing to do a second wash with Klorane because unlike the Neutrogena remover, it doesn't leave any kind of oil residue on skin. Does not sting eyes even when you wipe it so close to your eyes. Does not have any kind of offensive smell, it's also color free.
I bought 6 of these as it's on sale right now. I've never come across such a great find in cosmetics.

I don't actually own this product, but for those of you who would like to find it in Canada, they also stock them in Rexall.

Ok for sensitive eyes, but isn't strong enough for heavy or waterproof mascara. Nice package, though.

In The Netherlands, were I live they sell the milk version which is great for removing waterproof eye make up. I allways apply some milk with my indexfinger and softly smudge it all over my eyes and lashes and remove the product with a wet cotton.

This is the best eye makeup remover around. Unfortunately it is very hard to find in the US. I live close to Canada and can find it at Shoppers Drug Mart. Sometimes it even shows up at places like TJMaxxbut not very often.

It does a great job and I especially like that it has no scent.
