I'm so surprised at the average reviews - I love this blush! This blush by NYC is in the 'Cheek Glow' range, and that is exactly what it does, gives you a beautiful, healthy glow. This colour is more peachy, but it is not overbearing. I own many blushes and try to mix it up depending on season, etc, but I always find myself reaching for this one. At $3 or so, I highly recommend it. Whilst the packaging is horrible, what can you expect from something this cheap (why I deducted a star). Basically, I wouldn't be throwing it around, but other than the cheap packaging this is the most gorgeous blush ever which gives you a beautiful GLOW!

I bought this blush at Dollar Tree so I honestly wasn't expecting much, but I WAS expecting it to be better than it is.
It is incredibly sheer so it is very hard to get any color payoff, plus it is also incredibly powdery and because of that doesn't stay on the brush (or your face). I will never purchase this again.
I find that the package is somewhat hard to get in to as the plastic is so slick, your fingers just glide right off.

i also got this on clearance at rite aid. no, it's not something you would probably use a lone as a blush, but it does give your whole face a nice glow and i agree it makes a great highlighter. i'm pretty pale so i like it for using over my face. it def. gives off a little glow. i'd buy it again, but im pretty sure it's being discontinued.

Well I bought this when I began to wear makeup (one or two years ago) and I do like it, considering I paid $4 at my local Rite Aid. The packaging never broke on me so that is a plus. But the thing is it doesn't have much pigment for one swipe but for two or three you look like a clown. I don't wear blush much though so I have a decent amount left. The brush it comes with is more then useless, bristles came out every 3 seconds! The color didn't suit me either. Nice blush, but probably will not purchase since I do not wear blush much.

I just picked this up at Rite Aid because it was marked down to something like 75 cents. I simply cannot pass up a bargain!
My experiece with this seems to be different than some other reviewers. First of all, mine is not matte. My blush is a very, very sheer peachy pink with a sheen. If you are looking for a high color payoff with this blush, you will be dissapointed.
I think this product makes an excellent highlighter, that is why I gave it 5 stars. Just a bit of this brushed over another blush on your cheeks and swept over your temples gives a gorgeous J.Lo glow.
Used only as a blush it is not so good. Used as a highlighter, it's a winner!

This blush is awesome! I love it! I've tried all kind of blushes that I can get my hands on. From high ends to low ends. And frankly, this is one of the best blush I have ever tried. It's natural, blendable, and best of all, MATTE! In my opinion, it's even better than the oh so popular Nars Orgasm. Which by the way, is too pink and too shimmery. Even when applied with a light hand -.-
The only con to the NYC Central park Pink is that it's can be bit too powdery for my liking, otherwise, two thumbs up :)

Unlike most of the reviewers, I recommend this blush. I am really surprised i like it so much, based on the poor reviews and price point. I purchased it because i notice less expensive blushes tend to be harder for me to overdo. I agree the color payoff is slight, but it is called a glow blush and it does just that - imparts a healthy, soft focus glow as opposed to bright color. That said, it may not suit everyone, but is great for me, a light skinned person who tends to naturally run a bit pink in the cheeks. This is one of the few blushes I don't over apply, and one of the few that I look in the mirror and think "what did I do differently today, because I look great!".

Seriously theres no color payoff and I'm pretty sure thats the whole point..

This blush...Well first off, it looks like a great pretty pink color. The problem is, I literally have to run my brush over this blush at least like 5 times just to get any pigmentation on my cheeks. So no, I wouldn't repurchase. Even though it is really cheap, try out a covergirl or revlon blush, something that will actually show up would be good haha

Prety in package, ugly on my skin. No matter how much you use, it never really does show up. And if I do get some color on my cheeks, it's gone in no time. Thank God it was cheap so I don't feel bad about this purchase.

Has anyone else noticed a change in this color/formula recently? I have some older stock, and the color is more pink than peach and it went on more opaque than sheer. Recently, I bought some, and it's peachier and more sheer. I use it now as a bronzer since my face powder is too light. But now i've got to find something comparable to my older version of this blush. Can anyone recommend any other nyc cheek glow blush that has a light pink (not peachy) tone? Thank you.

it looks like a really pretty color in the package but it doesn't show up. It goes on too sheer.

I loved the color when I saw it. When I first apply it to my cheecks, the color just doesn't show up. Im a NC 25 for reference. Love that is a matte, nice peachy pink blush, like many others, but is lacking pigmentantion IMO.

I love this color!!! It's the perfect pinky-peachy sheer-ish blush. I have a lot of pigment naturally on my cheeks, and so I don't need blushes that are super highly pigmented...especially in Summer. So this blush gives exactly what it promises...Just a glow. It's not highly pigmented, so it gives me a natural flushed healthy look. It may not show up much in certain lights, but that is okay...because in most lights it's just a glow...and that is exactly what I wanted! I heart this blush!!!! Love love love
Update: Applying this blush with a damp triangle sponge is the best way to apply it for me. If I apply this with a dry or damp sponge, I must be careful not to rub off my foundation. So I press it into my cheek.

I LOVE this blush! I was kind of afraid to try a cheap blush because I thought it might break me out, but I've been using it for some time now and I haven't had any problems with it. This color is perfect for my fair/neutral/cool skin. The finish is matte and doesn't look cakey. (I wish I could say the same for NYC powder!) It also stays on really well. I went swimming with this stuff on, and my cheeks were still rosy afterwards! But it comes off easily with my face cleanser! For the price, you can't beat it!

I thought this color was pretty while in the packaging but once i tried it on I decided I DID NOT like this blush at all. It doesn't show up on my skin at all no matter how much I try to make it work. Waste of money.

Central Park Pink gives a beautiful glow to light and light-medium
skintones, without sparkles. Not too pink, not too orange. Beautiful
soft peachy pink. Easy to apply, very forgiving, a breeze to use.
Think powdery matte glow more than blush. The price is right too. Outstanding!

Super cheap, and a nice color, but it hardly shows up on my skin, and I'm pretty fair. The powder also started breaking into little crumbs after I was about halfway through. Not too impressed, but what the heck, it was so cheap and other MUA members liked it.

This product is nasty and chalky as a blush. But I like to use it as a highlighter it works really good.
:)
Overall i probably wouldn't repurchase it but I was super cheap.
