This is a very nice hand and body lotion. I almost purchased this but instead received 2 bottles, gratis. There is a lot of product in the plastic squeeze bottle and I like that it is rather light in texture and absorbs rather nicely. It also imparts a soft, rather silky feel to the skin (which means it is not absorbing completely...but then it shouldn't or there would not exist the necessary barrier). The fragrance, however, is very retro...smells like something from the 60's or 70's era. I remember when I was a little girl that my aunts and ladies going to church used to wear perfume that smelled like this lotion. It's sort of a cheap-grade (but not shoddy), Sunday-best, feminine, floral smell (it sort of smells like that perfume called 'Beautiful")...I am not very good at describing scents so that's about the best I can do here. I should also say that the lotion itself is very effective. I had really dry, red and sore, rough and painful hands due to all of the exfoliation wash treatments I do to myself and combined with the wicked cold weather --> horrors! I was pretty desperate and so used some intensive cream stuff from another company but it did not work. I then used this Hand and Body Silk lotion and voila...it worked wonders! I was going to give one of the 2 free bottles to someone else as a gift for the holidays but have changed my mind. This stuff really is that good and I am finding myself reaching for it often enough to justify keeping at least 2 since I will probably want more after that first bottle runs out. Overall, this is a pleasant, soft, hand and body lotion that absorbs well, is highly effective, and kind of leaves you with a gentle feminine feeling due to its fragrance. Lovely product! **UPDATE 1/27/06: I have increased the lippie rating on this product since I have been using it for quite some time now and find it to truly be the most beautiful hand and body lotion I have ever used. Just lovely, really!

I love the H&B Silk! Goes on smoothly, fully moisturizes and doesn't have a heavy, oily feel! Plus, the scent is light and refreshing. Very clean feeling and smelling! I am totally smitten w/this product! Will definitely repurchase!

My favorite lotion of all time.Makes your skin amazingly soft and silky(no pun intended).Sinks in quickly with NO greasy feeling and the scent is so lovely..Wish they made a matching perfume

What is that smell? I wish they would make a cologne, too! This is a pretty good lotion, but it is the smell that makes it addictive.

This smells incredible! Like its name implies, this body lotion goes on like silk, and the scent reminds me of Clinique's Aromatics Elixir somewhat (which, btw, my husband despises, but he likes this scent ... he said it's not as harsh-smelling as the Aromatics). Definitely would repurchase.

The best body lotion I have ever used. The scent is a little strong at first, but pales down nicely. Soaks in completely, and leaves skin truly soft and comfortable. I loved my first bottle so much, I bought another three! Very, very nice product.
