This shampoo is good, but i´m not sure if i would buy it again because is expensive and there are other shampoos with the same results and half the price. It smells nice, lathers very well and helps with dryness. It leaves hair in better condition and softer.

This has definitely become one of my favorite shampoos...it just works so well for me. I have a lot of fine, color-treated hair, with a tendency for dryness at the ends. Phytolactum is perfect because it cleanses thoroughly, yet doesn't seem to exacerbate any dryness. It's silicone-free and contains Sodium Laureth Sulfate, which just so happens to be a combination that my hair loves. The aluminum bottle is slightly annoying because I can't squeeze out the very last drop, so I feel like I'm probably wasting some product. Regardless, I'll continue to purchase this as it's a really nice shampoo that works for my hair.

Cannot count how many bottles used. Perfect! The best shampoo I've tried, and I've tried a low, including Phyto range. The only problem it is hard t find in the UK for some reason. I'd die if they stop producing it!
My hair is henna-colored, normal, the scalp is sensitive. The shampoo needs two applications, then it works wonders. The scalp is soothed, the hair is full and shiny.
Love it

I admit I bought this b/c of the smell, I love all things almond scented. My hair is color-treated, medium thickness, can get oily at the scalp. Due to a touch of tea tree oil this shampoo balances out my scalp while gently cleansing my hair. It leaves my hair soft and shiny. I follow the 2 minutes 2 lathers Phyto philosophy also. I have tried lots of shampoos but always have this one on standby. I do, however, hate the packaging!

Smells like almonds and is thick and creamy. I follow the Phyto directions: lather, rinse, repeat and leave on 2 mins, rinse. Needless to say, this shampoo doesn't last real long. However, this leaves my hair smooth and soft and super super shiny. So I would definitely buy again

Yes, the packaging is annoying. Yes, you have to was twice and leave the second lather on for a few mins. However, this shampoo makes my hair feel sooo nice! It gives my hair shine and hydration without weighing it down. Smells great too

I agree with the viewer below. It made my hair feel like straw after only one use and I followed the instructions on the bottle. Maybe after a few more uses, the results matbe different but I am too scared to try it again. Too bad it didn't work for me.

I have used several bottles of this shampoo over the years and I must say it shoots Kerastase and Philip B shampoos out of the water by miles. I returned to this former HG after my beloved Kiehls Olive Fruit Oil Shampoo stopped working for some reason and the uber-expensive Philip B. Russian Amber Shampoo did absolutely nothing for my heat-styled, curly, slightly damaged hair.

This is an interesting product, it is very mild yet very effective. It used to come in a glass bottle, which I hated as one mistake an it is all over your shower and now it comes in an aluminum bottle, which I also hate as you can't see how much is left. However, the opaque milky consistency and the delicious bitter almond smell are still the same. As with all Phyto shampoos, you need to wash your hair twice: Once to remove the products and the 'environment', second for the ingredients to work into the hair. I massage my scalp and leave the second shampoo for about 2-3 minutes and then wash it. It leaves the hair really smooth, clean and hydrated.

Very decent shampoo. Don't care for the bottle lid. Smell is so-so. Results quite nice. Middle-of-the-road product in my opinion.

Ohhh, I'm in love with this shampoo now. I just bought my 2nd bottle today, because my new Fekkai purifying scalp shampoo is crappy. Lucky me, I got it 50% off at Bath Body Works. It was the last one with a bit broken box, but who cares, it's not the inside. People just grabbed the whole Phyto products, everything only left with one bottle each. This makes my hair looking healthy. I can feel the difference if I don't use this shampoo. Right now, my hair is kinda dry due to perm and frequent blow drying or curling iron. I have a bit of scalp problem which tends to get oily fast. I have an oily genetic, from scalp to face. I used to shampoo everyday, if not I couldn't sleep well on the 2nd day night. This shampoo really helps, at the same time it doesn't dry out or strip your hair. Really good stuff. Don't bother to get the light blue bottle Fekkai scalp shampoo. Such a disappointment. It's drying and straw feel on the 1st day, by late 2nd day, my roots all oily and itchy. It bothers me and my scalp oily stinks.

WOW! I have a GREAT hair day using this shampoo for the first time. I am loving my hair!

I have frizzy hair, with dandruff that feels dry. Usually I can't run my fingers through my hair. After using this shampoo and my usual conditioner, the ultimate test came after I blew dry my hair. My hair was SO shiny, clean, smooth, and it even looked straighter. Definitely an awesome shampoo! My hair feels very lovely, easier to manage/ blow dry, AND the boyfriend can run his fingers through my hair with no snag!

I'm crossing my fingers that this shampoo won't stop working its magic...

At first I wasn't too excited about this shampoo...it was nice but nothing amazing. I think i was using too little for my long thick hair, so i started using a little more..But now, after 2 weeks later I have seen my hair improve a lot!! It looks and feels soooooo soft! No residue! I think it treated my hair from the inside out! I really love this shampoo!! I've tried soooo many diff kinds of shampoos, from very expensive to very cheap. I love this one!

I'm having trouble to find the best shampoo for my oily scalp, dry ends, and phytolactum is the best shampoo i've ever used! It cleanse all the build up residue from my aussie cleanse and mend. unlike any other moisturizing shampoo that could makes my scalp itchy, dandruff and greasy , this stuff is rocks!!! it moisturize my hair very well and also calming my scalp, and makes my hair feels clean, bouncy, smooth, with the soft almond scent. This is very pricey, I usually bought 1 litter pump refill from ebay for a lot cheaper than any other places. I definitely buy this shampoo again and again! worth the money!

WOW! I´m completely blow away by this shampoo. For years I´ve been looking for a moisturizng formula, I have long thick very fine and highlighted hair. Most shampoos give me great hair for a few weeks, then they end up drying it more or leaving it dull. After trying ALL the Kerastase lines, L´Occitane, Redken´s All Soft, Oscar Blandi, Khiel´s and many more (including Phytojojoba) my favorite was Kerastase Bain Apres Soleil (I still love it), but Phytolactum simply made my hair silky, bouncy, shiny and smooth. I love the fact that it contains no silicones. It lathers fine, and the smell is lovely. I am using it in conjuntion with Phytosesame and Phyto 9 olny in my dry ends. These products have really transormed my hair. The glass bottle is a bit problematic for traveling not to mention dangerous in the shower) but it keeps the esential oils from deteriorating. I love the fact that Phyto is a natural line with no conservatives and best of all NO animal testing. I wash my hair about 4 times a week and since I ´ve used this products my hair look fabulous and feel very healthy.

I have used this shampoo for some time now and cannot praise it enough. It is gentle and can be used frequently without leaving a build up on the hair. It is expensive compared to the usual high street shampoos, however, it is economical in the sense that one wash is usually enough and you only need the tiniest amount. The really good thing about this shampoo is that it does everything that a shampoo should do....after washing and drying your hair feels shiny, soft and really clean.

This product is for frequent use- hair which tends to be dry. MY choice is the small 50ml aluminium tube so is brilliant to take on trips. When I first read that it was enriched with almond milk extract- I was like, "holy moly" cos I cannot stand the scent of almond tea (which I think is a mixture of ground almonds and milk- not a good cook so don't kill me if I'm wrong). Its popularly drunk here and to me- reaks of cockroaches. In the tube- yes, it does smell of almonds BUT to my delight once its been massaged and washed off the hair- the fragrance is absolutely GLORIOUS. Imagine soft scented clouds of milky warm vanilla-ish scent wafting from my hair. I want to eat tufts of it!

Yes, will definitely keep buying which is often since it keeps getting used up
by everyone else in my house.
