Im going to be polite here and not completley bash this product. I have reason to believe that this serum broke me out like no other. But I am not one hundred percent sure, so i am not going to discuss that. I do not really understand this product. It says it brings new cells to the surface, and sloughs off dead skin. I do not know about you, but when i apply my skincare for the day, i want to know that my skin will remain glowing and not be piling up dead skin as it is renewing itself. The sloughing of dead skin will be when I exfoliate two times a week, not all day long. It is very silicone like, I hate that sooooo much. Silicones are so nasty to me. I do not understand them. I guess this works excellent for others but I am just saying I did not find it to to be anything special, do not let me stop you from trying it though.

Wicked product, totally saved my skin at a time when my acne was absolutely killing me.
I think i have this product to thank for curing my problem skin and giving me a great skin texture and complexion, i would receive complements when i was using this product.
The only reason i stopped using it was because the dollars were big :( It came to a point where i could not justify spending $70 aud on a serum every month.
Was a loyal buyer as i saw it as my saviour :)

Ok, so I am a Clinique SA (I always state this before reviewing my lines products). I do not use everything we sell, because, it doesn't all work for me. But this, this is by far the ONE most fabulous products our line puts out!!!!! It makes your skin fabulously smooth and glowing. It contains a small amount of sacylic acid which is supposed to loosen the "bond" of dead skin cells on the skin and let them slough off. Then glucosamine to smooth the skin. I use this at night under my moisturizer to get it to work better. It will also work to help makeup glide onto the face more smoothly when used in the AM. It comes in both a jar and pump bottle form. I use the pump bottle, as it keeps the product more sanitary. I can go through these in no time and order at least 2 on my gratis. It runs $36.50 @ counter for both forms. I ♥ ♥ ♥ this and even if I am no longer an SA, this is one product I will still go to the counter and pay $$ for!!!!!!!!

I've used this producted since I was in my teens. I'm a fair skinned asian with combination skin. I first started using this product when they had one for dry skin and one for normal skin, at that time the product was good, but i found it to be a bit oily. Then about 6 years ago, they came out with a new oil free version! I was totally in love! At the time I felt it was a bit expensive so I stopped using it a few years ago. The other day I just brought 30mL of the turnaround concentrate and I can't believe it's even lighter! Even after a few uses, it has made my skin super soft. It has also made my nose less oily the pores seem smaller as well. I've never really liked clinique poducts that much, but I am in love with this product! It may seem like a lot of money to some, but I've spent more money on other products with less progress. I would totally repurchase and recommend to people with slightly oily skin, it really makes a difference!

What's in this stuff? Because it works great! I had this laying around in my bathroom for 2 YEARS because it didn't quite do anything for me when I was 24-25 and my worst skin problem was acne. Now I have discolorations, rosascea (facial redness), a few wrinkles, dullness, etc. I tried it recently and I noticed a big difference in my skin. My skin is redness-prone (I probably have mild roscacea since my mom has it) and this literally made the redness disappear... (note, it still comes back if I rub my face a lot, but hey). I also have a lot of dullness and discoloration. I will update in a few weeks if this helps with that in the long run.

In conclusion this product probably won't do much for you if you are still young and vibrant, but if you are starting to get near your 30's or beyond and you want to perk up your skin this is a good product!

Wow! I've been using this for a couple of weeks, and my skin feels like silk! I use it every night after the Clinique 3-step system, and my skin has never looked smoother. I think they're discontinuing this because they just came out with a Total Turnaround serum that's for all skin types. I'll definitely give that one a try too!

I was recommended this one for my oily skin after bying the 3-step trial size. I got a small sample, but within a week I went to buy the full size. Even though I think it's pricey, I like it a lot. I use it mostly at night, but sometimes at day to (when not using duperdefense for oily skin). It makes my skin so soft and matte. I used to wake up and be blinded by the light reflecting in the oil on my nose, but every morning nowadays my skin is still perfectly matte and soft. My chin used to be a little red-coloured from harsh acne-treatments, but I do believe this cream even it out.
My only grief is the pump. It tend to dry and stick in the opening, and when i push either just a tiny amout slips trough, or I get to much because of the pressure. But still, better a pumt than a jar.

I bought this after trying a GWP sample and getting nice results. Although it's expensive in the shops, it's about 1/2 price on ebay, The last one I bought was £9.99. I use it night and morning on my oily skin and it's great for fading scars and removing whiteheads and blackheads!!! Weirdly enough I tested it to the full by applying it to the small patch of ingrown / ingrowing hairs which have appeared recently on my leg. With the small recent ones it got rid of them and released the hair over night, meaning it's at least as strong as the incredible skindoctor ingrow go. Skindoctor IG is marketed as a powerful exfoliator and smells like nailpolish remover - in comparison the Clinique smells quite good. I think that total turnaround is def. one of the best clinique products I've bought. I haven't experienced any dry skin or peeling from x2 uses a day, but I'll update accordingly.
*Update...Months Later (October) I am only just coming to the end of the bottle and this has done wonders for my skin - the best oily skin treatment I've tried so far. You don't need to use this so often as time goes on, it's really improved the condition of my skin!

i remembered using my mom's, when i was 13. on my young skin then, it didnt do much good & it smelt 'oily'.
many years later after reading the rave reviews here, i decided to use this on my acne-prone, blemished skin. on applying, this lotion didn't seem it could do much good, it felt like a normal lotion. but seconds after applying, my face turned smooth & overnight, it did lighten my acne scars & tame the irritated areas to normality. im quite happy with the results. the threatening acne areas sort of tame down, after days of usage. and i didnt thought it'll be possible to lighten my scars, but it did. not drastically, but visible enough for me to notice.
i wld rate this better than SKII treatment essence, as i saw the results faster. i wld prefer if this product cld totally fend off upcoming acne..i still have to put up with the monthly monsters. only lucky thing that i got this now to my heaving rescue.

I love this product. It revived my dull complexion, erased the angry brow lines, and faded the brownish spots left by acne. The smell is kind of weird, but it's a small price to pay for a product that works!

I bought this from recommendations on MUA, and during gift time. I have used about 1/3 of the container, and the only difference I notice is my skin is very soft (like when I used Idealist). That alone is not enough to make me buy it again.

Found no visable difference but did use the entire container hoping that it would finally kick in. The silicone made my face feel smooth but I got oily in about an hour.

This makes my skin feel very silky. I know nothing about the formulation, but from using other products I am guessing that it has a lot of silicone in it. I have no idea what this is supposed to do. I have noticed no dramatic changes to my skin, but it does not irritate my skin and I like the way it makes my skin feel. Not a very moisturizing product, but more for making me matte and silky. I only buy during gift time. $35.

I love this. I had just turned 20 when I started using this so i'm not sure if it was my age or the product, but my spots stopped. I slap it on overnight, alternating every other night with NARS aqua gel hydrator thing, and my skin is perfect. I've been using this routine for 9 mnths now and have had about 2 spots (one of which right now... grrr)but my friends at uni all commented on how fab my skin was. A pot will last me a couple of months, and if you think how effective it is, Clinique could charge twice the price and i'd still buy it. Fab Fab Fab.
