I agree with some of the former reviewers of this, and I have to say...yuk...yuk...yuk! I think I've only smelled SJP's Lovely once, but don't really remember it.
That said...I always try the shampoo or body wash before I get serious and purchase the fragrance, as I did with this. You can see by my age...that I'm not young...in fact...I'm over 60, and I HATE this fragrance. Usually when I really don't like a scent, I just use up the rest of the product in the 3-in-1 for a hand wash. Not so with this one. Had to return it at The Q's awful charges, so you can see how much I HATED this stuff. And to me...most old ladies smell heavenly in comparison to this. This fragrance smells funerial to me...that's right. My husband couldn't stand it on me either. And it's supposed to be for people who are meditative. I've been meditating since I was 15, and honestly...if I were meditating with a group...they'd throw me out...lol! NO SCENT is really best when you're in meditation...even alone.
And then...this fragrance probably DOES smell good on some other people (as Blue smells great on others...not me)...just not this person. AWFUL with my body chemistry. Made me feel sick every time I smelled it. Triple YUK!
Oh, and I love Pure Grace, Amazing Grace, and even Falling in Love and Unconditional Love are really nice...just not Inner Grace.

hmm...bought this after hearing great reviews and luckily i got it at a decent price from ebay. The smell is very weak and i just didnt find it to be anything special. I also got the perfume and i had an allergic reaction to it because of the amount of alcohol it contained. This is the second thing i have tried from philosophy and i think it is an overrated expansive brand. I recommend sampling were best and perhaps try ebay first.

I really like this body wash. I use it in the shower. It does lather, but not excessively. My skin feels soft after I use it, and the scent is light. I like how soft the scents are in the Grace line. I have been layering the body wash, firming moisturizer and perfume, and I like how that is working for me. The scents in the Grace line are all soft. The one thing I don't enjoy as much with the Inner Grace is that the scent dries down to something that has a slight musk to it. It isn't bad, but it isn't my favorite. But, I will still keep wearing this. I may end up using this body wash (as I enjoy the scent the most of the ones I've tried), the Inner Grace firming lotion, and a different perfume spray on top. I will have to experiment.

I have the 2 oz size that came in the limited edition Grace Me With a Kiss set that Philosophy put out this year. It might be just me, but this smells identical to Sarah Jessica Parker's Lovely. That's great for people who are a fan of the perfume, but not for me. It lathers well and the scent does linger, so that's a plus. The packaging is cute as always but I will not repurchase.

I have just started using this product the last week and I have to say it is my new favourite. I love the scent! It is light and not too overpowering, but beautiful at the same time. It lathers up quite well and leaves my skin feeling very soft afterwards. I suffer from dry skin and it is hard to find a product that I can use and don't feel the need to slather a load of body lotion on after a shower. The only downside is the price. I will buy again, but obviously not for regular every day use.

To me, this has an old lady smell to it. It smells like something that a person who is in their 60's or beyond might like. However, that is not to say that it smells bad. Being a senior doesnt mean you smell bad by any means but to me this product is far from contemporary (which also doesnt make it bad, its just not really my cup of tea). On the other hand, the scent is almost classic in a way. It smells nice but not something I would want to drench myself in. The smell is also quite strong for my sensitive nose. I use it as a shower gel only and only at night. Honestly, I wouldnt want to go around smelling like this all day but at night time, its a nice clean scent and is comforting in a way that makes me feel relaxed when I want to go to sleep. As a shower gel, it lathers nicely but seriously, beware of the smell. This of how your grandmother smells when she gets all dressed up. She doesnt smell bad but def smells different that someone your age.

I wish I could bathe (rather, shower) in this stuff every day. I had 2 samples from Sephora, and tried to eke them out for as long as possible! I love the smell of Inner Grace. It is fresh yet spicy - a weird combination that works well together. This shower gel is more on the "fresh" side than the "spicy" side, as I was surprised by the spiciness of the Body Firming Emulsion and the EDT. It lathers nicely, yet not so much that you feel it might dry out your skin.
All in all, I would say it is my favourite shower gel. :)
Unfortunately, I cannot comment on the shampoo aspect of this product because I didn't try it in my hair.

Love this scent! It doesn't lather as much as it does when they demo it on QVC (probably because they dump half the bottle on the loofa when they show it), but it does smell very clean and fresh, with a little stronger of a scent than the other Grace perfumes.

I absolutely love this shower gel! Smells sexy to me and it smells great on me. I can't wait to try out the body spray. I hope it smells just as good as this does!

I love this fragrance -- it's my favorite of all philosophy's fragrance lines (Amazing Grace, Pure Grace, Falling in Love, Baby Grace, etc). Something about the scent is just so soothing and pretty. The shower gel itself is decent enough; a good, semi-moisturizing, bubbly gel. What I really love is the scent, and I can't wait for philosophy to make more product in this line. And as a bonus, proceeds go to charity.

I usually love anything from Philosophy, and luckily I got this as a sample with a purchase from Sephora, because I would be beyond angry if I had paid for this. First of all, I had to use the entire sample just to wash my body. And the sample was not small, it was a pretty generous sample. It was not rich, it was not creamy, and it couldn't even manage to produce a nice lather. Secondly, I was not at all pleased with the fragrance. I am a fan of their Amazing Grace, Pure Grace, Baby Grace, and even their Falling In Love scents, but I was so unimpressed when I first smelled this. Yes, I agree that it does smell similar to SJP's Lovely. But, I actually like SJP's Lovely. This, however, I did not like. It was horribly weak (I don't like super-strong scents, but I could barely smell this). So, basically, overall, it smelled like a watered down version of SJP's Lovely, with a bit of cigarette smoke thrown in, and maybe just a slight hint of plastic. It was gross. Finally, it didn't even manage to leave me feeling clean. All I can say is thank God I had to use the entire sample on my body, which didn't leave any to try on my hair, because I don't even want to know what horrible things it would have done to my poor head of hair. I don't understand how a wonderful company like Philosophy could justify selling such a horrid product.

I have to second the below review: yuck yuck yuck. And yuck. (now I'm starting to sound like the Three Stooges, and not in a good way). The best thing about this product is that all proceeds went to charity, otherwise I'd have returned it. It smells like musty old lady but thankfully it doesn't last. Glad I only got the body wash and not the perfume! Do yourself a favor and skip this one. All of the other Grace line products are better than this!

yuck yuck yuck - that is all that I can say. I love Pure Grace, Amazing Grace and Falling in Love. Somewhere Philosophy dropped the ball on this one. Now there may be some people who like this kind of smell, but for me it was a huge *no go*. I would have rather seen the creators at Philosophy work on getting some more pure grace products on the market. For example, the roll on perfume and a bubble bath.

I can't figure out yet if I like this or not but I do know that I will buy it because it benefits the Reeve Foundation. I think it's too expensive and I don't care for any of the 3 in 1's used as a shampoo. I use it strictly as a body wash and keep it at the sink to use as a handwash as well. It is very similar to SJP Lovely, and that in itself is not a bad thing, but you would think Philosophy could come up with something a bit orginal. Then again, maybe not. I took off one lippie because of the price.

This is an exact replica of SJP Lovely. I love Pure Grace and amazing grace is just okay, but this is too strong. But seriously, you want to try the scent out just go to any department store and try out lovely.

Inner Grace has a fresh laundry scent mixed with peppery masculine scent. It smells like Philosophy blended their Amazing Grace with Falling in Love and Philosophy- the fragrance. So their is nothing new here. Philosophy is all starting to smell the same to me. Not a good shampoo at all. I had to rewash my hair with my regular shampoo. As a shower gel, it is average. Not moisturizing at all. Paraben free.

As others have said about this, it definitely smells very similar to SJP's Lovely. This isn't a bad thing for me, though, since I own and love that perfume! I will use this gel as a layer before that from now on! The 3-in-1 is very very lathery, which I love, but leaves only a slight scent after rinsing off. Works alright as bubble bath. Bubbles right up but they are gone within 3-5 minutes. I take off one lippie for the price...I hate paying $22 for a shower gel, ugh! Luckily, this will last awhile, though. Will repurchase when I want a treat.
