This is a pretty descent shampoo, just a little bit goes a long way. It lathers up nicely and it's very foamy! It's okay for every day use, very light on the scalp. From the "organic" lines, this has been one of the best ones I've tried, it even helped with my 'winter' dandruff, and didn't irritate scalp.
I don't like the packaging thought, I can't control how much comes out of it.

So I've been trying to save money in the shampoo and conditioner department which unfortunately had been leaving my hair a flat lifeless grease ball. I caved and purchased this with its matching conditioner. This (with its conditioner) makes my hair feel WONDERFUL! The ends have moisture, the top isn't greasy, its volumizing, and MY HAIR IS SO SOFT! It smells very lemony as the name implies, which I enjoy immensely. Definitely would recommend to people whose hair tends to get a little greasy and those who wouldn't mind a little extra volume. Only issue is its rather expensive, $16.00 a bottle!

I love the way this stuff smells. I use it with the conditioner and it's made my hair thicker and shinier. I still use a deep conditioner once a week because it doesn't make my hair as soft as I'd like it to be, but I love everything else about it. I don't find it to be too drying - I have fine, relatively thick, and very oily hair and this is the first shampoo/conditioner combo I've used where I only have to wash my hair a 3 times a week instead of every day without looking too greasy.

I didn't know how to rate this product, to be honest. It definitely makes my hair look more voluminous and in that way, it's the best shampoo I've tried, BUT it dries the life out of my hair, and my skin. It's so drying that I get tight palms after using it, which lasts into the next day (that said, I do tend toward dry rather than oily skin.) I don't know if I can actually keep using it in the long term because of this, but it really does get results. My hair has more volume and smoothness after using this with the conditioner, and unlike with other fairly natural shampoos, I'm not left with annoyingly tangly hair that gets into knots for no reason shortly after brushing. This is great because having thin hair means that when that does happen, hair inevitably gets ripped out. I have the driest skin on my hands, arms and legs from this shampoo, but my hair looks really good!
It's a pricey product, but it's cruelty-free and made in America, so there are upsides!

My hair: fine, normal, thick, wavy.
The scent is amazing and fresh. Too drying for everyday, but I'm keeping it as a clarifying shampoo for once a week.
Conditioner is wonderful for everyday. I'm pairing it with my favorite Avalon Organics Biotin Thickening Shampoo for great results.

Could not get a comb through my fine, highlighted hair. Used a handful of matching conditioner and it was still tangled. Had to put in another heavier conditioner just to comb it.

I decided to buy this product after using Pantene for awhile. I've noticed that in the past year I have lost a lot of hair, (I'm only 24!) and I think it has something to do with all of the dyeing, flat-ironing, and bad shampoos/conditioners.
Anyway, I used it for the first time today and loved the smell. The lather was nice, too. I noticed a slight tingling/burning in my scalp, but I'm thinking maybe I'm just not used to this yet. My skin has always been a bit sensitive, so I'm not gonna let this deter me yet.
The conditioner was very moisturizing, with a good scent as well. Although I'm trying to stay away from heat-products, I still decided to blow dry my hair, and was amazed at how healthy my hair felt and looked by the end of it.
I'm impressed and will probably continue to use the stuff until I'm out. (which should be quickly, considering I only bought the little bottles)

I bought this in the liter size so it had the pump which was very convenient. I use this with their conditioner and it does have a very strong scent in the shower but once your hair dries its lighter. After i rinse this shampoo out, my hair has that squeaky clean sound. If i didn't use the conditioner with it, my hair would probably be really dry.

It was alright, didn't notice any real difference other than the zesty citrus aroma that helps to wake up in the morning. I personally prefer the minty scent of the tea tree special

This smells amazing! It doesn't strip the color from my hair and when I use it with the matching conditioner my hair is full of body and shine all day. It's expensive but worth it to me.

After scouring the internet for a volumizing shampoo for my oily scalp & hair, I decided to try a travel-sized version of this & the matching conditioner before committing to a full size.
I really enjoy this product! In fact, I'm relatively surprised at how well it works for my hair & scalp. It's a dye-free shampoo that lathers up really well w/out having to use an enormous amount of product. The smell is very nice, too; the lemon & sage are a great combination w/out being overpowering. The shampoo cleans my hair & scalp thoroughly w/out over-drying it. Using the shampoo in conjunction with the conditioner, my hair comes out soft, manageable and not weighed down at all. In terms of its thickening ability, there has been some improvement but nothing dramatic. However I think the product excels in every other area enough that I like it more for that than its volumizing ability.
I plan on buying a full-sized bottle once I finish with the current travel sized items I'm using.
EDIT: I've been using this shampoo for a while now, and I've noticed that it doesn't leave my hair clean as much as it used to when I first started using it. My scalp gets rather oily before the end of the day, which then results in weighing my fine hair down. I use a clarifying shampoo every week, but even that doesn't seem to help. Will be on the search for a new shampoo now.

Wow, this is a nice shampoo! I am a shampoo and conditioner junkie. I probably need an intervention. I bought this from folica.com, along with the Lemon and Sage conditioner. I have to say that I love them both. I have very fine hair, but a lot of it. I wash my hair daily, so I need something that isn't heavy and won't weigh my hair down. I do not color my hair and only use my Solia flat iron after my hair air dries. I haven't used it long enough to really see any major thickening results, but my hair has been so easy to style and a co-worker commented on how good my hair looked after I had been using this for a couple days. My only complaint is that the bottle isn't the easiest to squeeze product out of. It is made of a more rigid plastic so the bottle gets little dents in it when you squeeze out product. That said, I will definitely keep this in my shampoo rotation. If you wash your hair daily and don't need heavy moisturizing, definitely give this product and the matching conditioner a try!

I love this shampoo! My hair is very fine and limp. It DOES add body to it. Smells great! A little pricey as shampoos and conditioners go, but I'll gladly pay the price. My stylist got me using this. I can get it when it's on special in the liter sizes -- shampoo and condition for $36. Otherwise I think it runs about $59 retail.

I have fine hair but lots of it. The length barely grazes the tops of my shoulders. Quite a few layers all around, with the front layers longer than the back. I have tried many volumizing and/or thickening shampoos in the past but this shampoo has produced the best results. Well...in combination with the conditioner, a volumizing blow dry gel, a vent brush, my blowdry technique and a few velcro rollers!! I still gave it a 4 out 5 because I used the same technique with other shampoos and they didn't work as well. Plus the thick texture and volume stays all day. Sometimes, I can go an extra day without shampooing.
I bought the shampoo as a set with the conditioner for $20 at Ulta. It was a specially priced for a couple of weeks. Otherwise I think they retail at about $13 each.

I didn't notice too much thickening, but I think it works best for fine hair and mines is more medium to coarse... it smells pretty good tho!

This shampoo is great for normal to fine hair. I have used it several times and it's a great starter product for those days that I want to wear my hair with more volume. The lemon sage scent is much more pleasing than the classic tea tree. This would be a great shampoo for a guy who needs fullness and volume too!

Great scent, and I think for me this would work as a clarifying shampoo but not at all as a thickening shampoo (as it is supposed to be)....my hair felt very stripped and dry even after using the companion conditioner.
