I purchased this a few years ago and I really regretted it ever since. I cant use it as a powder liner cause the powder will just fall everywhere on my face upon application. The application is very messy, and even if I do get it to look right after application, after a few minutes it gets all messy.
This even though it is a powder I had trouble blending and smudging it. The shimmer fades very quick and it leaves you with this smokey black mess (not the sultry smokey mess that you would want) on your eyes after about 2 hours. Really awful product.

Looks great on, but its a bit messy and hard to wash off. I paid a buck, at least I didnt waste a bunch of money on it. I will stick to my other eye liners. This is more for those that like to wear the dark goth look.I keep it for Halloween.

First of all, this fails as an eyeliner. It's way too messy to apply and blend as an eyeshadow, and the sponge applicator is not small enough to precisely apply as eyeliner. What I dislike about this the most, though, is the fact that is spills everywhere. Even when I try to tap the excess off, I have to clean the excess up...and why should I be wasting that much of the product anyway because the applicator is so bad? It's just lame. I got a really good price on this (75% off) and even though I feel like I paid too much. It looks cool in the package, but it's not worth the hassle. Skip.

OK~ This has to be the MESSIEST makeup on the planet. It is too bad because the color is so pretty. As soon as I took out the applicator the powder was all over my hands. I got that wiped off and then tapped the applicator to get off the excess powder. I obviously didn't do enough tapping because as soon as I applyed the liner it was all over my cheeks. It was a MESS!!! I tried to blow it off and that didn't work. I wiped it off and I had blue streaks all over my face. I tried to reapply it with a tissue under my eyes and it still fell all over my nose etc. This was just too much work! If I ever try it again I won't put my foundation on first, but it still messes up my routine..way too much work and it is just too, too bad. It would be worth the pretty look if not for the mess. I think I will go to MAC and look for another blue liner that goes on clean. I got this at walgreens for 3.00 on sale. Glad I saved some money.

I really like this product. It is not so much a liner, although they call it one, but a powdered shadow. This product is for anyone that wants a short-cut to a smokey eye. There is a lot of fall out if you use the wand straight from the container. It is best to have something to tap extra into and then apply. The look is worth the extra work, to me. The color is great, like no other colors I have, very sexy and smokey. I got mine buy one get one at walgrees, I got the sapphire and the jade, both look stunning with my green eyes.

I really did not like this liner. The list of complaints is a mile long!
1. Too messy, falls all over your face, hands, vanity.
2. Applicator is like MEGA thick sponge tip. It's impossible to get a decent, nice clean line.
3. Price is expensive for the drugstore! For a few dollars more I'd rather go buy freaking MAC where I know I'll get a quality product.
I've used this on a few instances, and never acheived a good look. It just doesn't do what its supposed to. I'm really a huge fan of dark smokey eyes and my family all knows me for my dramatic eye looks, but seriously this looks like Halloween makeup. I can't see how you could ever achieve a sexy look with his. Perhaps a zombie look, but not a sexy look.
The only positive things I can say are that the color is very pretty and when I wrote Revlon Customer Service they offered for me to send it back and recieve coupons to go towards a future purchase (they didn't say an amount). I normally don't write companies like this over crappy products, but the fact that this ruined my sexy smokey eye look at my dad's company Christmas party and I didn't have the time to start completely over really upset me. Silly me for using drugstore crap on an important day, lol. At least it is good to know they stand behind their products. I really do like the color so I plan on giving this one more shot before I send it back.

I bought this, for the most part, for the novelty factor and really just to try it out. I'm neither really impressed nor completely disappointed with it.
Pros: The color is GORGEOUS! It's a dark bluish sapphire color so it's not as harsh as a black but still has a kick. If you have the patience for it you really can get gorgeous smokey eyes. When I put it on I feel like I have that "I went out last night too" look, very sultry. "Bedroom Eyes" is a great name for it.
Cons: It falls everywhere, that's the biggest pain of all. And you really have to be careful not to touch it with your fingers or it will smudge and get everywhere and look even worse. The applicator is too big, sometimes you just don't want such a thick line but you really don't have a choice with this one.
I've noticed that tapping the extra shadow off the brush before applying does wonders to make your whole application smoother.

i could understand why a lot of people dont like this product but for me personally i love it. the color is gorgeous, and i use it as an eyeshadow not a liner. i have to admit it is hard to apply b/c the appilcator is a huge sponge tip and the powder does fall onto the undereye area. this is how i use the product:
1. apply loose translucent face powder under your eye heavily so that it catches the eyeshadow
2. apply the bedroom eyeshadow or liner using the appilcator and sweep it across your eyes. ( i personally draw thick line close to my eyelashes)
3 blend out the harsh lines using a blender brush, and blend upwards so that it has the fading effect.
4. sweep away the access powder from your face
and your done~

I bought this because of the name, "bedroom eyes", and because I heard it gives your eye a really sexy look. Unfortunately, there is not one time that I have applied this, and not taken it off right after (which is a pain). There are ways to apply it, where it can look nice, but my Bobbi Brown gel liner, gives me a better look than this does, and it just was okay for me. Maybe one day I'll take my precious time, and apply it correctly and wear it out, but it takes too much time, especially when you have to worry about it getting all over your face when applying. It could be great, but I'm usually in a rush, so it just wasn't for me. I wouldn't buy this again, too expensive, too little product, that's just not worth it.

I think I bought it because of its novelty factor, being a limited edition and everything... at the store it didn't work very well but at home, where I could take my time, it turned out ok! The colour is dark navy with hints of sapphire blue sparkle(which isn't really visible). It does take time to apply without making a mess and does cost shitloads for such wee amount of product(NZ$31.99!!!!). The secret here is you do it very slowly and when you do get bits of the powder on your cheeks you blow it off (like when you blow your fringe off your face, like a horse in cartoons) and never ever try to fix it with your fingers unless you want streaks all over your face. Wipe firmly with cotton buds dipped in baby oil/moisturiser/makeup remover. And when you are finally satisfied with your smokin eyes, you put your foundation on. This is golden: foundation LAST, never before!! Hope this helped!

Feel ambivalent about this. It can have messy application. I can't seem to master the smoky eye. Perhaps that's b/c I tend to have blue-ish undereye circles due to allergies and this seems to accentuate them...but the jury's still out. It has great staying power and is a nice color. It's just messy messy messy. When you take applicator out---boom, it's all over your hands, etc. HOWEVER, on days that I have worn this...I look at myself later in the day and think. Hmmm. this looks a bit sexy and nice!

Ahhh it isn't that bad. You just have to know how to apply it. Put a tissue under your eye if you are having fallout problems. Anyway, I like this stuff. It does give a smokey, sexy eye. You may have to clean it up a bit with a q-tip to give it the right amount of smokiness. It was fast and easy to apply. Would repurchase, but I just think the price is a little high for a lower-end brand. The shade is gorgeous deep navy blue.

I agree with the previous review by Splee. This product is a waste of $$. I wouldn't recommend it. When you open up the package, the powder just spills all over the place. It is getting worse when I tried to apply the product. I ended up having the dark blue powder on my cheeks. It was too bad because I had just applied foundation and powder. Gah! It is not that great if you are in a hurry in the morning. In short:
-the application is a mess
-it is overpriced for drugstore brands ($ 10.89)
-color is nice but it doesn't make up for the messy application
