I just got this shade at Ulta for $1.99 from their clearance bin. To me it looked like You're Fired with shimmer, but it's completely different.
I agree with the other posters that commented as to why this didn't come out for summer. It's gorgeous on my toenails!
My favorite thing about Essie is that on me it doesn't chip. At all.

This is one of my favorite Essie polishes. I usually don't like them b/c they're streaky, boring, and take so many coats to get bottle color. This one is none of the above. It's a really nice orange-toned red with coral shimmer and it applied streak-free and achieved bottle color in two coats. I absolutely love the color and it really compliments my OPI A True Ab-Original pedi. This was an Ulta exclusive for Fall 06, as said below, and it was one of two extension polishes that was released with the Bag Collection. The other Ulta Excl. was called Bag of Berries, which is also really nice. Would buy again if I ran out.

What's not to like, other than the fact that it is a limited edition color? This is a shimmery true red that is a great color for any skin tone at any time of the year. If you can get your hands on a bottle, DO.

Well, this color certainly changed what I thought was an uninteresting year in Essie colors. As the previous reviewer noted, this is a Fall 2006 Ulta exclusive. I waited to purchase from the clearance rack in case I was not impressed with the color. Well, my hesitation saved me $5.00 and I gained a fabulous red shade.
It is a warm shiny shimmery red that is medium in depth. It some type of glow or luminosity about it that isn't neon. It's such a pretty color and really eye catching. I can't imagine why this type red came out in a fall collection and not in the summer or spring. I know it was an extended collection on the fall Essie theme of handbags, but the it could have very well come out in the spring 2006 collection as "Strappy Red Heels".
I am really impressed with the fact that this one was the same color as in the bottle in 2 coats. Usually, I have to put 3 coats of any Essie polish to get the bottle color and no streaks. The application was very smooth. In all, I'd buy it again.

This is an ULTA exclusive from 2006, a bit of an extension from the Essie Fall/Winter Clutch Me If You Can collection, which have handbag-inspired names. I'm in ULTA-less Canada, but was lucky enough to have a wonderful MUA-er send this to me! (Thanks theporpoise!)
Sexy Red Bag is a drop dead gorgeous, bright warm red shimmer. I love it on both tips and toes—it's very Hollywood starlet to me :). It has the glossy, shimmery finish of a just-dipped candied apple. It applies perfectly with two coats.
