This wasn't that great at all!! I bought this along with the new foundation by makeup forever as well. B/c the makeup artist used it on me. But I am going to return it! It doesn't make a difference in making your face mat. I still had to powder my nose. So since it is 45$ it definitley is not worth it!! wouldn't recommend it at all. Doesn't make a difference with making your makeup last longer, or go on smoother, or keeping your face mat! :(
So i will return this!

I purchased this after the SA I was dealing with at Sephora was extremely adamant that it was one of the best primers on the market for what I was looking for in a primer.
I've been using it for about a month and a half and the best that I can say is that it's a sub-par product.
It fills in my face and creates a nice smooth base for my foundation.
My makeup does seem to last anywhere from 7 to 12 hours without touching up or only quickly dusting my chin once throughout the day.
However, it's just not any better than what I would consider to be my favourite primer so far, Lise Watier's Base Miracle 3-in-1 and the All Mat doesn't have the accompanying colour corrector.
The biggest downside to this product is that you have to use a lot of it to completely cover your face, three to four pumps and with a price tag of $51 CDN for a 30 ml bottle I couldn't justify repurchasing.

I really wanted to fall in love with this stuff. I have an oily t-zone that I've been battling with for years and this seemed an answer to prayer. MUFE is a great brand and I love their HD foundation. In hindsight I should have purchased the travel size to test this out first, but I was so eager for it to work that I bought the regular size bottle. Basically this stuff does nothing noticeable to my skin. I've tried using it all over my face and just on my t-zone. Nothing. In fact, it seemed to make my skin even oilier :-\ Oh well, at least I learned the lesson to buy the smaller size product first to make sure it works for me!

I used this once and had a few pimples and one huge acne cyst popped out. I thought it was a reaction to a new foundation so I gave it another try a few days ago and yet again, another two cystic acne came out, one on my chin and another on my nose.

I've also tried Stila and Smashbox primers, but they too gave me cystic acne reactions. Maybe it's just me, but a warning for those with combination/sensitive/mild acne-prone skin, please stay far far away. I still love other MUFE products but this was just not for me. : (

This product helps to mattify my face & makes it less shiny. Because it is expensive I just use it around my oily T-Zone area - some on my cheeks & mouth area where i tend to sweat. I live in a very hot & humid weather so this product only helps to prevent my face from getting oily & shiny until for about 5 hours after applying. It is still good as i havent found any other mattifying product that lasts this long on my face. Overall, it is a great product, great packaging, even though a bit pricey but it lasts a long time & definately will repurchase it until i found a better one.

THE BEST PRIMER OUT THERE!
nothing keeps my face matte all day except for this.
it doesn't make me break out, keeps my face matte for the entire day,
i couldn't be more happy with a product.
this is my miracle product.

Absolutely, positively does not work for oily skin. Recommended by the Sephora employee, what a bad choice.

After using this primer before my normal mineral makeup routine, I found that my skin looked worse/oilier than it would have w/out using the primer. It was a shock and disappointment. I think perhaps my skin does not respond well to products that contain -cones or silica.

Ingredients:
Cyclopentasiloxane, Propylene Glycol, Aqua (Water), Dimethicone Crosspolymer, PEG/PPG-18/18 Dimethicone, Magnesium Sulfate, Silica.

UPDATE! This broke me out with really bad cystic acne! I loved it so much that I was in denial, but eventually stopped using it and noticed my pimples go down. I have very acne prone, oily skin so maybe it won't break others out, but definitely did not work for me :(
-----
I was very hesitant to spend so much on this, but as my days with a shiny face got worse I decided it was time to purchase a matte primer. This stuff is great! and does what it says it'll do. My face isn't as shiny as it used to be with up to 5 hours of make up on. My skin is a lot more oily than others so I can only imagine what it'll do for others. It's got a greasy touch to it but it only needs a slight rubbing into the skin to do the job. I honestly don't think I could use up a whole bottle for awhile as a little bit goes a long way.

I first bought this primer in september i want to say, around the same time i had bought my clinique 3 step skin care products (which i love btw) At first i fell in love because it made my skin feel so smooth, i love the packaging and MUFE is a really great brand. However after reading other reviews on this product as well i believe it is the cause of my breakouts (which makes me annoyed because i'm not done with the product yet and i feel like i'm wasting my money not using it you know) It really helped my foundation go on smooth and really did control my oil. However lately i am breaking out on my chin, and on my cheeks and i have NEVER broken out there before. Yeah i would get the occasional zit on my forehead but getting BIG pimples on my cheeks and chin is not normal for me. ( i have combo/oily skin and my cheeks are NEVER oily) I really wanted to love this product but i will have to continue my search for my holy grail primer because it has given me horrible acne, even though i wash my face morning and night every single day with an amazing skin-care line.

Let me start with my beef. $45 for ONE OUNCE of product? Ridiculous. But, I do believe it is worth the money. It is one of the best mattifying primers out there and alone or with TM or foundation, this product does what it says it will. The best MUFE primer, if you are a fan of that line definitely pick this up for the summer. Must have for combo/oily skin. Again, the pump is wonderful. It does have silicia in it, but I believe they use less than their competitors because my skin hasn't reacted poorly to this product and I have been using it for a week straight. I highly reccomend this primer, you will stay matte for quite awhile, even in the summer, and your non-streaky face will thank you for it.

i reaaaalllyyyy wanted this to work, after reading all of the positive reviews i was so eager to try it out. My skin is oily beyond belief and i really On the first application, i thought i had my HG for sure. the primer went on smoothly, it made my acne scarring less noticeable, and my foundation lasted all day. By the 6th day, horrible cystic acne and whiteheads popped up ALL OVER MY FACE. it was the worst feeling in the world. i dont have sensitive skin at all, and my skin has been clear for a year and a half, and to suddenly fall back into the acne again... i was mortified. I honestly didnt think it was my primer at first. i assumed that my breakouts were the cause of the summer heat/sweat/dirt, so i stuck with the primer for another month. needless to say the blemishes continued and got worse. i finally stopped using it last week and im nearly clear again. so overall, i will never touch this primer again

I love love love this primer, cant say enough good things about it..I have oily skin and this works wonders...Price tag is a bit high but well worth it. I was skeptical to buy this in the beginning, but so glad I finally did..its the best on the market in my opinion. I have tried smashbox all of them, nars primer, Mac primer, you name it I have tried it, and this one is the best! I highly recommend this product.

Absolute worst primer I've ever used :(
I've heard about a lot of people breaking out from this
(must be something horrendous in the formula...) but I decided to try it anyway.
Anything to control the oil, right?
Well, I have oily/combination skin, and this actually made my lower jawline flake really irritated/very very flaky!!!
This is the first time anything has irritated my skin or made me flaky (which never happens, because I'm super oily!).
Very very disappointed, threw out after two uses.
This didn't even control any oil, my MAC prep&prime was much much more effective.
Face is now back to normal, and i'll never touch this product ever again...

I got a sample of this product from the SA. I had high hopes for it, but It didn't do any better a job at smoothing my skin or controlling oil than my $10 drugstore primer. The mattifying effect didn't last either. At $50 a bottle in Canada, I don't think it's at all worth it. You can get the same thing for much less $$.

This is a great primer. I went in Sephora for a makeover. The SA wiped my face clean of makeup, and put the primer on half of my face and told me to look in the mirror. I was SO astonished at what I saw. My skin is not perfect, I have big pores. The side of my face with the primer on looked so smooth! This is no makeup, just primer! I can clearly see the difference between the two sides. The primer filled in every pore, making my skin so smooth looking. Then the SA put MUFE foundation on and my skin looked absolutely flawless. The great thing about the primer is, after a night of dancing, my skin was NOT oily and the foundation did not budge! The SA did warn me, that the primer can cause breakouts if used all the time, so I only use it occasionally. This primer made me believe in primers, before I never used them because I thought it was an unnecessary step. I highly recommend this!

Eh, not really impressed. Got a sample from sephora. Used under my powder foundation. Just looked in the mirror 3 hours after application. I am shiny and my pores look bigger than usual. I will not purchase.
