Like a lot of people said, I was expecting a nuder pink than this, but it's more of a mauve pink, which is okay, but I won't repurchase because it's just not what I was looking for. I don't regret getting it though, and it was 40% at my CVS. It feels okay, not drying or moisturizing, just there. No scent, and the packaging is cuuuute :) It's a good lippie for those looking for a muted mauve pink, but definitely not a neutral.
*I posted the pictures. One is the bottom colour of the tube, and the other is the lipstick, a swatch and it's also on my lips.*

I picked this up at Ulta on a whim because I did not know Prestige made lipsticks and I was curious to try one. In the bottom of the tube which you can view the color is nothing like the actual color of the lipstick. I was expecting a nude shade. This, imo, is not a nude shade. The shade is a mauvey pink with shimmer. It is a lovely color and looks lovely on my skin tone but right now, I'm into nude lipsticks. Although I won't repurchase this, I'm happy to have it in my collection.

I'm very picky when it comes to lipstick, so it's pretty rare for me to like a lipstick as much as I do this particular one. It's definitely pink, but it's muted enough that it actually looks rather natural on my olive-toned skin. I'm also very impressed by how well the colored portion of the tube actually represents the color inside. Furthermore, it has excellent staying power. It lasts through breakfast, lunch, and my eight-hour work day, which I think is pretty impressive. I can't think of anything negative to say about it; I'm definitely glad to have purchased this.

I am also a PPP with dark hair, and I love the colour of this lippie, obvoiusly we know what suits us! It's a nudey / mauvey pink, with a shimmer.

However, I don't really like the texture of this lipstick, so won't repurchase. It feels very drying. As soon as it goes on. And it's not even that longlasting. With a lipstain or similar I expect my lips to feel dry, with a lipstick I prefer more of a balm type feeling, and I don't get that at all with this. Also, I think I feel little grains of shimmer when I rub my lips together, which isn't appealing at all.

Nice colour. But that's not enough to recommend it. I'll take it to a shop and try to match the colour with a better texture of lipstick.

i like prestige l/s though they are slightly drying imo; they are well-pigmented, smooth, nonsticky/heavy, and have no perceptible smell/taste to me (besides a slight "lipsticky" one) imo.

pink sands is a lighter, nuded cool pink with silvery shimmeriness. very pretty. cool PPP skintone, brown hair and eyes.
