This product was a huge disappointment. I haven't noticed any moisturizing effects at all - I can apply it and not an hour later my skin feels tight and dry (and I don't even really have dry skin, it's just winter here).
It feels metallic somehow... like it makes me itch and somehow feels very reactive on my skin.
The fragrance is dreadful, very heavy and dated, not fresh, clean, or modern at all. I've been trying to finish off my jar as I hate to waste products, but I finally gave up and just threw the remainder away. It was gross and next to useless.

I’m sorry to pull down the rankings but this did nothing for me. Bought this on special and I think it is being discontinued. Slippery, greasy and hard to put on. To me it seemed like a standard, cheap drug store house brand with a bit of glitter thrown in which is really unnecessary, it being a night cream. I broke out in more black and white heads with this and it didn’t help my flaky skin at all. Being in a pot was not a good idea and I couldn’t help but think I was putting oil and germs back into the pot.

I bought this one on clearance, so I'm assuming it is disontinued :(
That sucks because this rich and thick cream is really great. It goes on smoothly, and it's not too greasy. My skin actually does look better the next day, it looks more clear and radiant. Or maybe it's my imagination.
The cream comes in a jar, which is fine. I don't care for the smell but the product works very well.
I can't find this anywhere now or I would buy it again.

I bought this on clearance, so I'm scared it's discontinued, because I love it so much. I was thrilled to find a non-pore clogging night cream that actually did some intense moisturizing. I actually look forward to putting this stuff on because it makes my skin Feel glowy, even if it's not. I'm a bit of a novice when it comes to night cream, but this stuff has made me a convert. The only downside is the fragrance is a bit strong for my tastes. But hey, great feeling, great effects and great price, I can suffer some smell.

Talk about hitting the jackpot when I saw this in the dollar store!
they must have discontinued this, because they were all lined up on the shelves.
So I stocked up on these, got 3. Im going back in a couple days and getting another 4 or 5. Because once their out theire out. But so far I used it once, it's nice and rich and sinks in really well.. it says it has brightening glowy effects so i will update.
a dollar u cant go wrong, even if it doesn't work out, i just use it on my body.

This cream is very rich- thick, actually. And I really don't like the smell- it's just like cold cream, which honestly made me GAG!
I'm going back to Dove Sensitive Skin Night cream. It's the best!

I have normal to dry skin and found this product to be moisturizing enough. I like the thick consistency and fragrance is OK, not bad and nothing special either. I bought this only because I found it on sale for $3. I would use it again if someone were to give it to me or if I were to find a killer deal; otherwise, I will not spend money on this because it truly does nothing special. My face did not have any glow it it. This cream was a decent moisturizer, that's about it.

Did not like this at all because it broke me out and that nearly never happens. But even aside from that, I didn't find this cream to be especially moisturizing, I didn't like the sparkles in it (I'm going to bed, what do I need sparkles for?), and I don't like the scent either. Still searching for a good night cream.

Great moisturizer for the summer. I have really dry skin, even in the summer, so I use as a day and night cream. I hope I can continue using it into the winter.

I bought this in the winter when my skin was really dry and I wanted a heavier moisturizer. It might not be moisturizing enough for someone with really dry skin but it worked well on my normal skin. It sinks in nicely after I apply and my skin looks smooth and even toned in the morning. I would buy again next summer but will use something a little lighter for the summer.

I like this for a night cream...but then again, I have little experience wqith night creams aside from creme de la mer, which is basically the end-all be-all in face creams, so beside that this is kind of junky. I don't mind the shimmer, as my face cream has a similar sort of shimmer (Clean and Clear Morning Burst.) The Glass Tub is cute and I see nothing wrong with it, but I wish the cream itself were more substantial and moisturizing. I feel like I can get further with plain old Vaseline.

I like this cream in general and find that it delivers beautiful moisture to my skin, however I don't notice any "glow" to speak of. I took off one lippie for that reason. There are some mica like light reflectors in this, but they are merely superficial. Not a bad moisturizer in and of itself, but I question the glow factor.

I hate how any product that's supposed to give you luminous skin is just crammed with this weird glitter stuff. I want healthy glowing skin, not glitter to make me look like I'm 12 years old and heading to some underaged rave.
I also like slathering on a lot of lotion at night, and this night cream just had an awful smell and started flaking a bit on the excess. I liked Dove's regular night cream, but I would not recommend this anyone.

This stuff is perrrrrrfect for my skin! I have seriously gone through about 8 jars of this in a row, and I never, EVER finish anything before moving on to something else! Currently, HG status. This stuff just works so perfectly for me, I have no reason to try what else is on the shelves. I have normal to just slightly oily skin and I use this day and night. Really dry skins may need something heavier. It is becoming so difficult to find a nice moisturizer that doesn't have a chemical sunscreen in it (breaks me out). I love that this is sunscreen free because I use a heavy-duty phyisical sunscreen anyway. Price/ formula are great. Packaging is the only thing in need of improvement. I will seriously cry if they stop making this.

I usually use Ponds dry skin cold cream in autumn and winter because my skin gets flaky and dry. I had decided to try something with antioxidants and skin brighteners, so I gave the Dove Energy Glow a chance. I had originally heard great feedback from friends on the DOVE FRESH RADIANCE moisturizer with spf, and could not find it anywhere. I came to find out that the energy glow line is the fresh radiance products renamed. I was looking for the day cream with spf but cant find it, so I tried the night cream. I think it has about the same consistancy as the cold cream I normally use, also comes in a jar with a screw on lid, and has about the same results. I have to say tho, that this cream seems to have a one up on the cold cream as it leaves my skin looking clearer and brighter. I actually went without wearing foundation today after only two days of use. I usually have a problem with ruddiness and uneven skintone, but they seemed less noticeable to me. It leaves my skin soft, supple, alot like the cold cream does. Upon application it sinks in within minutes, and leaves my skin feeling refreshed. I do have sensitivity to some products altho my skin is not considered sensitive, and thus far I havent noticed any problems with this product. I will update after a couple of weeks of use. It cost around 10.00 at drugstores and major retailers like Wal-mart. If it continues to not cause breakouts and improve my skins appearance I will definately repurchase. UPDATE: after using this product for awhile, I find that it is not as rich/thick feeling on my skin ... and almost as moisturizing as the dry skin cream from PONDS. Over time, it gives a medium amount of moisturization, enough for someone with dryish/normal skin and too much for really oily skin. I have dry skin tho, and it does a pretty good job of moisturizing, especially considering it is winter. My skin has not looked better in the past several years! The best thing I have noticed is that my skin tone has seemed to even out a bit and I am needing less foundation coverage, as well as having a youthful supple appearance I hadn't had in years during the winter having dry skin. I am rather happy with this moisturizer as a night cream. I have even used it during the day before applying makeup, it does not cause any application problems like balling up the foundation or causing makeup to smear, I just need an additional sunscreen. I just bought the daytime version with SPF... will see how that works.

I have really been enjoying this night cream. I have combination skin that is both dry and flaky, yet extremely prone to breakouts and oily in the T-zone. This night cream sinks in quickly and feels wonderful going on. It has not caused any breakouts and my skin has been looking bright and clear. I also don't look like a total grease-ball when I wake up in the morning. My doctor even commented that I looked "bright and fresh" the last time I saw her. On the flip side, I do wish it was a bit more moisterizing. My skin feels a bit dry when I wake up in the morning; however, it is winter and I feel that any more moisture would probably just cause breakouts. Unlike others, I enjoy the cute little glass jar, and the scent is mild and pleasant.

I am DSNT (OSNT in the summer) with rosacea and finding products to suit my needs is a challenge, but this is a very nice non-irritating night cream. It has ceramides and cholesterol to help rebuild skin barrier and glides on so smooth. I wish it were in a squeeze tube instead of a glass pot, but that's my only complaint. This works as well or better than many other more expensive products.

First of all, let me describe my skin: combination (some spots extremely dry and flacky, others extremely oily) and acne-prone. I got this cream because my skin was a dry and flakey mess. I bought Dove (as opposed to Neutrogena or Olay) because cosmeticscop.com suggested other creams by Dove (I couldn't find any of those suggested), and this looked to be the best of the two at the store. Anyway, I tried it last night, and I must say I like it; I like it a lot. It goes on smoothly, sinks in, and I woke up with better looking skin this morning (with the exception of two new pimples)! But I will keep using it, until my skin gets worse. Anyway, I will keep you posted on how it is working out for me!
Oh, As far as the packaging and price are concerned: the price is pretty high ($9 for a small jar). However you don't need much, so it should last a while. The jar is not the most sanitary, but the product is thus far worth it.

This is an ok night cream. It leaves skin nice, soft and bright.
When I started using it I really loved it. But now I dont think its moisturizing enough. I want something thats really going to quench my skin and leave it plump and supple.
On the positive side, this did not cause breakouts (I have combo acne-prone skin). However, its just not moisturizing enough and I really dont like the heavy glass jar.
Im going back to my Neutrogena Light Night Cream. My HG.
