I got this fairly cheap online. I think it's a great concealer but the light shade does have an orange tint to it, which is great to conceal undereye circles but not so much pimples. A tiny bit goes a long way with this. Even though it's not best, I use it to cover up my pimples, and it does illuminate them. I dot all my blemishes using the brush provided and then blend it using my fingers and that works perfectly well for me. I find the coverage great, I use this alone or with a light coverage foundation. The best concealer I've tried.

This is a wonderful consistency. I bought shade fair, and it matches well with my skin tone. Coverage is not too heavy and the "illumination" isn't obvious.
My issue with this is the container. I have lost basically half of the concealer because it seeps out the sides every time you close the container. I think the pressure of the brush pushes up the product. So wasteful.

I think this is my HG under-eye concealer because using this in conjunction with a under-eye correcting concealer, it will brighten up my under-eye area and conceal some of the darkness. This isn't the best concealer on its own, unless you don't have severe dark under-eye circles/area. I do think it works well to brighten and it looks natural while doing so because of how it's similar in skin tone (if matched the way you like it).

Reference: I never got my shade checked at MAC but I am around NC30-35ish (light/medium to medium skin tone with yellow/olive undertones), and I match the shade Medium very well.

I know this concealer is pretty expensive, seeing how it's a high-end product, but I got this on sale (I bought both in Fair and Medium) at Sephora because it was on sale/clearance (and is now discontinued, i believe). So I got two bottles for less than half of it's original price. It was a great deal for me, but buying this in its original value is very expensive though.

Other than its price as a con and how it's not the most opaque concealer (with it's pro being effectively brightening for my under-eye area), another con is that the packaging is a MAJOR let down.

It's a wonder for under eyes because it's a liquid based concealer that's not cakey whatsoever, but because of its consistency, it gets out of the tube easily. The packaging is a bottle with a brush applicator. Every time I use it, more product will somehow get out around the opening of the bottle and get all messy at the roof of the applicator and therefore getting all over the opening/spirals. It's a waste of product and a nasty mess to clean up every time. Whenever I use it, I just use a brush and wipe the spiral twists/opening and there would be enough product there for both my under eyes (I don't use a lot of under eye concealer, but I think that's still something to consider).

PROS: liquid based (great for under eye), brightening, light to medium coverage (sheer being the least best coverage).
CONS: packaging (major issue), price.

Still my HG brightening under eye concealer because I still think with the way I apply it, it works very well (face primer for smoothness, color corrector in a salmon or peach shade, then stila illuminating concealer on top (all products in light layers).

If it was in a better packaging, then it's definitely a 5 (and not 4) overall.

I brought this in Medium on sale, so I didnt pay the regular RRP for it here in Australia, so I cant complain about the price, although I do know it is very expensive in Australia (At my usual Mecca Counter this would cost about $40-$50 AUD).
I usually only like creme and stick concealer, the thicker and creamier the better. This is a liquid conceal in a tube, I love the packaging soo adorable and compact, the wand is great because it is a brush at the end. At first I thought the consistency is soo viscous it just cant conceal anything, which is partly true.
At first I applied this underneath my foundation, which turns out the process of putting the foundation on would just rub this right off. Later I applied it after my foundation, I blend it out and I set it and my foundation with a powder and it was fantastic.
Not only did this blend very well and is light weighted, it covered up my dark circle and brighten out my complexion, so I really dont need to use a highlighter under my eyes as well. This product lasts so long as long as you apply it right.
At $40-$50AUD this is quiet expensive considering the little tube it comes in, but I will definitely go back the the outlet ti see if its still on sale to restock because I think it is worth it. it is the first liquid concealer I ever love.

I really like this! It's thick enough to conceal but not to thick. It has a nice shine to it and its just very nice. My only problem with it is its restrictive colour range.

The consistency is thin and feels more like a foundation, but it covers like a concealer. If you don't like the thick, heavy concealer feel on your face, you'll like this. However, while it works well for acne scars and redness on the face, it's not very good for under eyes. I think it's due to the thin consistency, it creeps into the fine lines and accentuating them. I don't know about the "illuminating" quality. It definitely does not illuminate like a highlighter would. Let's just say it gives a natural, dewy finish. The other down side is the color selection. I'm a Stila shade C, and the "medium" is too dark (okay during the summer) and "light" is too light. I have both of them and mixed them together. Bought them on stila website for about $13 each.

Like many others I got this as an gift from Strawberrynet last month (thanx SBN!)
I took it Fair and I can't understand why... tooo light for me! Think the light would be better for me.
But overall I'm likin it. Covers good, about medium going to full ( more than revlon colorstay concealer but not as good as Clinique all about eyes concealer).
I think that the name say alot what it does, it both conceales and illuminates. Staying powers i great no problems with it.
I still use it, but I use colostay concealer (in medium) on my "light" dark undereye area. That coves about medium, then I use this on the darkes parts ( inner eye area) and perfect! Looks great and I it looks like I have slept for 12h at least.
You can still found this online so maybe I'm going to order a shade darker...

Coverage is ok, probably not the best out there, doesn't cover my acne scars that well, but then the marks are dark. I don't have leaking problems like others have reported, but I don't carry it in my make up bag. Dark matched me pretty well, and I am roughly NC35-40. I wouldn't rave about it, but it serves its purpose, considering I got it for free on Strawberrynet last month.
I think there are still some on sale there, for those still looking for it.

I'm a little bummed Stila is going to discontinue this. I found it strange that the most natural shade for me was Dark, even though I'm an 02 sand in bobbi brown. i don't really think it illuminates, it just looks incredibly natural. i have pretty bad dark circles and this does the trick to cover them up. i can't say that it's the best concealer out there.. but it certainly does the job for me.

overall this is a easy to blend/spread concealer that looks natural and is best when applied with a concealer brush. remember to keep the cap tightly twisted and shake a little before using.
[on a side note, i found bobbi brown's creamy concealer thick and cakey and very unnatural.]

I rated three stars because if you're trying to conceal something, you probably don't want to highlight it, either, it's average with a big price, the packaging leaks, and it also irritated my undereyes. With that said, it doesn't do much highlighting, and the concealing properties are average. However I'm hard to find the right match of color, and the color choices for this are great and true to color. I'm medium cool toned and the Light worked out great for me. It's great to be able to just swipe this under the eye with the convenient brush, then rub in; however it does not conceal acne blemishes (remember, it's an "illuminating" concealer). Unfortunately it kind of stings and irritates the skin under my eyes for some reason - this is not usual for me; my skin is badass and not too much irritates it. Also the packaging is very, very small, and after a few days of use, the product began to leak out of the tube. The reason I will not purchase again is due to the packaging leakage, too high of a price for a tiny, average product and irritation from the product itself. And yes, Stila's customer Service is horrible. It's like trying to get ahold of someone who only uses their cell phone for txting or Facebook----straight to voicemail.

Yikes is this stuff bad. It doesn't cover my dark circles even a little bit. Instead of coverage, it makes my undereye area very shiny and whitish. The consistency is very runny and leaks out of the tube. Truly terrible.

Terrible. Just terrible. This was recommended to me at Sephora when I told them I wanted something I can wear without wearing foundation, to cover dark circles. The selection of colors is pretty good, and its very very sheer so its pretty easy to find a match.

This is very very very runny, so it barely covers up any darkness or shadows. Leaks out of the container like crazy. Very small amount of product, for $22! They dont sell this at Sephora anymore, so I had to get this from the stila website, so BTW has the WORST customer service EVER!!!!

This is a good, medium coverage concealer.
Pros: Good color match (I use "Fair", and for reference, I previously used Mac's MoistureCover in NW15), good lasting power (better than the moisturecover, imho), VERY natural looking in daylight, makes me look more awake.
Cons: The packaging is terrible, this is not a product you can throw in your makeup bag since it tends to leak. Coverage is good, but not perfect. I presonally prefer natural to perfect during the day anyway, so it's fine with me. A little pricey.
Overall, this is a good concealer, and I will repurchase.

This is a decent concealer for the most part. My only problem with it is that it tends to set into my fine lines after a few hours. Otherwise, it does a good job of covering my dark cirles.

This is a pretty good concealer which has a very smooth consistency. Its coverage is low and the packaging is good with a brush wand. The colours are extensive and yellow based. As an under eye concealer, its lasting power doesn’t last all day and requires too much patting for around the eye area. I think this would be too runny for spots. It has a great satin finish. It is far superior to Bobbi brown concealers which leave you looking chalky. This is one of the best on the market and definitely Stila’s best, with a smooth, light satin finish. The only downside is that it is good for about half a day.

I have been told that this item has been discontinued and i am truly heartbroken! I have tried so many different concealers and this one works the best for me. I love the benefit booing but i find it still to creamy.. This one is just dry enough to stay in place and i love the applicator! However, the bottle is awful! Spills, leaks etc. I think they may be re-designing the packaging! HOPEFULLY! I am hunting this product down before its sold out everywhere! the other concealer in the squeezy tube is really greasy and i had to return it. I brought it in hopes it would be the same or atleast similar.. :( xoxox

I purchased this concealer a few days ago, and I must admit, for $58AUD it wasn't cheap, but I needed a liquid alternative to my Laura Mercier Camouflage concealer, as I like the increased control that comes with liquid..I'm a little paranoid about really visible makeup.

Anyways, the girl applied it under my eyes for me in the store, but I don't have a problem with dark circles under my eyes, I just needed one for in the corners of my eyes to brighten a little. I use it also to conceal redness around my nose, as I don't use foundation much at all.

If you're looking for extreme coverage and brightening, this is not the product for me, however it serves the purpose I need it for, which is in concentrated areas with a little shadow, and it doesn't cake and lasts well.

I'd buy again. The ONLY problem is I was told to apply it with a brush, which is a bit fussy, as the brush that comes with the bottle absorbs too much and I'd waste the product.
