This is a deep, rich midnight blue that dries quickly and has nice shimmer. However, it does smudge on my oily lids eventually. Application is a dream and it's pretty cheap.

This is a great liquid liner. I go through phases of preferring liquid liner to pencil to smudged eyeshadow and this is my go to for liquid. I pretty much always wear navy blue eyeliner and I've found that liquid liners tend to turn up black rather than blue when they dry. This one maintains it's "blueness" without being a cobalt or teal color. I am pretty clumsy with liquid liner, so the fact that it's not waterproof is a plus for me (I can fix mistakes with a q-tip easily). The felt tip on this is very precise and easy to control and I can get the perfect winged look every time with ease. I have very curly lashes and this does clump on them while I apply it, but I haven't found any that don't do that.

I know you're supposed to toss old cosmetics, but I've had this one bottle for about 5 years now and it's still the perfect consistency. I had a black one that I broke the cap on (my fault) and it did dry out a bit.

I have used prestige eyeliners for as long as I can remember but when I went to replace my standard black and brown I saw the Azure color and grabbed it instead. Man am I glad I did! It makes my brown eyes stand out and like the other liners it stays on all day and doesn't smudge. I have a hard time with eyeliner in general but this stuff sticks (yet comes off easily with remover). Definitely recommend and for the price how can you not at least try it.

This is without a doubt my No. 1 eyeliner. It doesn't smudge. It doesn't burn. It is easy to work with. It dries quickly. I have oily skin and it doesn't come off on upper lid. I have experimented over the years with pricier and cheaper products. I have not found anything that works as well.

This color looks horrible on me for some reason. I don't know how to describe the effect, but it looks really drab and trampish. Instead of looking unique the color just looks odd...not right. It essentially makes your lashes disappear. Even when wearing falsies, they just seemed to disappear. Also the color just smudges way too easily. Just gently touching it with the pad of your finger will get the blue all over your finger.

I love all Prestige eyeliners. I especially love the liquid azure color, it's hard to find that color in a drugstore brand.

one of my faaaaavorite eyeliners. I only like liquid becasue all pencil smears on my oily asian eyes. lots of liquids smear on me too, so i'm always looking for new eyeliners. i looove this color. it's dark enough blue that i can wear it to the office but it's just a tad different. my other favorite liquid liners are loreal line intesifique (but it only comes in blacks and browns) and avon perfect liner (black)

I was originally looking for black, but I'm really glad I got this liner instead. The color is absolutely gorgeous and true to the color of the bottle. However, I gave it four stars instead of five because it burns like CRAZY if you happen to get this into your eye. And considering it's watery consistency, it's a frequent occurrence. What I did to decrease the amount getting in my eye was apply it, close my eyes, and then fan them for about 30 seconds just to dry the liner a little bit. Doing that significantly reduced the amount of liner in my eye. Like a lot of the other reviewers said, a second coat is essential to really get a good visible line. All in all, it's not a bad liner for a first timer like myself.

After tirelessly searching for what seemed to be an eternity, I have finally found a suitable replacement (color-wise) for my beloved & discontinued Bobbi Brown Sapphire Shimmer gel eyeliner. I'm really into dark, subtly shimmery navy blue liners so needless to say I have a ton in my stash. This one stands head and shoulders above the rest. The color is lovely and rich, the subtle shimmer makes your eyes glow, it's easy to remove, the pigmentation is great (didn't experience any problems with it being thin and watery like a previous reviewer) and it has a felt tip applicator which makes it very easy for liquid liner novices to learn (although I apply all my liners now with my Sephora bent liner brush). The only draw-back and reason why I gave it 4 lippies instead of 5 is that it flakes and smudges easily. Boo. :(

I never thought I would find anything that would be as lovely as the Sapphire Shimmer in color, but wow was I pleasantly surprised at this DS treasure. The performance does leave a little to be desired, but at $5.75 it is a STEAL. I think I will invest in some of Benefit's She Laq, maybe that will take care of the smudging problem with this and my Shu liner in Konjo.

I didn't realize what a nice product this was until I found myself constantly reaching for it! It is almost part of my basic routine now! When I first started wearing it, I thought: this isn't bad. Then, I found that it really does make a beautiful impact with blue eyes! Very cool for a product that's easily accessible in drugstores with a low price!

Pleasantly surprised by the price/quality balance of this liquid liner. The colour is a rich dark navy with a tiny amount of shimmer. The formula is good, but seems to be lacking desity of pigmentation. I find that two thin coats are needed for a good result (applied with a fine and thin brush as the felt-tip applicator is a little hard). As this is dirt cheap I don't have a problem with doing this. You get a good amount of product for the price.
The staying power is fair, but removes easily. I like using it with neutral beiges and gold e/s when I want to add a little interest without anything too startling.

I hate to be the one that brings down the perfect rating on this but I think it pretty much sucks. The color itself is gorgeous but it goes on so watery & thin & uneven. I have to go over it like 2-3 times to get it to look even & opaque...in fact I have to let it dry & then go over it again. The felt tip that comes w/ it is horrible & too hard to use so I use my own fine e/l brush w/ it, still watery but easier to work with. Sucks cuz all the colors I have (bought 3) are so pretty & I like to use them when I want diff. colored liner than black but they are just so hard to work with. :(

Great color, dark deep blue. Goes on great, only draw back is its a felt tip pen, I like brushes better. Otherwise great eyeliner. Not waterproof, wipes off easily, but does the job suffciiently.

Phew. I found it. The perfect sparkling midnight blue, navy blue, make your eyes pop, almost black but still discernibly gorgeously blue liquid eyeliner I was desperately seeking. Really really nice on my hazel eyes and seems to make the whites whiter (always a plus!). So dirt cheap ($5 at CVS) and the application is just fine. I love liquid eyeliners and find them a breeze (after years and years of use I can finally say this, lol) and in fact prefer them over pencils if what you seek is OOMPH. So very happy with this, can you tell?
