This is impossible to remove. Doesnt lenghten my lashes. Its only thickens and clumps it. I wont buy this again. Not only is this expensive, it doesnt work. I prefer Mac`s Zoom range.

This was the ABSOLUTE WORST mascara I have EVER tried. Every single time I've tried this it's been awful.
~ Impossible to remove (even with makeup remover)
~makes your eyelashes fall out
~made my eyes sting
~smells like plastic
~volumizes but also clumpy
I hate this mascara more than any other makeup product I've ever tried.

I HATE THIS MASCARA.
out of ALL the mascaras i've tried. this was the worst.
wow. man i probably lost like 2~3 eyelashes a day trying to get this darn thing off.
even with like waterproof eye makeup removers...
i had to like scratch it off my eyelashes with my nails like seriously
but if the mascara overall was really good then I'll probably like it even though it's hard to get it off and stuff but this mascara didn't even do anything for me
no volume no length.
it held my curl slightly but i've seen better.
it just clumped my lashes to where when i looked in the mirror, all i saw were like 3~4 big chunks of eyelashes all clumped together.

This used to hold my curl, but not anymore, for some reason.
I first bought this when I was doing hardcore, make-you-sweat sports. This didn't give me racoon eyes. Still doesn't
My lashes are straight and Asian. They're not particularly short, but thin so I just need to add black to make them visible,
Very disappointed that this doesn't hold my curl because I asked for one that does.....and I bought it in Japan where most of the population have stubbornly straight lashes.

I'm a die hard MAC fan so this is really hard for me to say what I'm about to say...
I hated this product so much that I vowed to never try another mascara by MAC.
I normally like waterproof mascaras because I have allergies year round and my eyes tend to water which in return makes my make up run. THE ONLY THING that got this make up off was their eye make up remover with oil in the pink bottle. (I don't even remember what it's called) Anyway, I still had to scrub even using that.
It clumped, it flaked, and it didn't provide any length or volume by any means.
The only pros is that it's definitely long lasting and waterproof....but it's almost not in a good way since you have to scrub for so long at the end of the day to get it off.

My gf bought this thinking it was Plushlash, my lash obsession. I tried it out because i didn't want to be rude.
I no like.
Its super waterproof, so that's good if you're getting your face powerwashed because it won't come off in that event. Its kinda scary.
It doesn't do much for me. I have naturally long, black lashes and there's no marked improvement.
But now I have two cement mascaras I don't plan to use unless I am going to cry on an underwater expedition. Because it wont come off.

I love this mascara!!! The brown color makes my blue/grey eyes pop out a very natural pale color, I constantly get compliments! :) The biggest bonus is that it lasts forever and I definitely need something that is long lasting. But I can't believe that it's discontinued! I went to the counter a couple of weeks ago and the women told me I had gotten the last one!!! I been looking for an exact replacement but with no luck. I tried almay but when I washed my face and saw the hard to wash off smudges around my eyes I remembered what originally sold me on the loud lash. Just when I thought the search was over the quest begins again. Oh well, there's always ebay.

This is great for legnthing and volume building it seems to extend lashes in every direction. Not good for sensitive eyes though, used this on my sister who does not like to wear makeup and she was furious when she got home and washed it off 3 times and it was still there, she tried vaseline and everything i could think of. So yeah very very very long wear, I liked it I just wish my eyes would not get irritated when I wear it.

this is one of the better mascaras i've ever used. it's super water proof and does a very good job of lengthening, covering and not clumping. it makes my lashes look far more dramatic and glam than any mascara i've ever used. of course, as with any lash product, it's all in the application. any mascara has the potential to clump, so one must be sure to wipe the excess off the brush or comb the lashes afterwards.
even if i find myself falling asleep with my make-up on, my lashes always stay looking great with this mascara on with no smudging but perhaps a little sticking together which is expected and easily remedied.
price wise, i would purchase this again once i'm all out, but i recieved it as a gift from someone, so that wasn't an issue for me.

This is a fabulous mascara! It doesn't smudge, and it actually holds my curl. I don't know about the price because it was a present from a friend. But i'm really glad that she bought me this mascara, but it is one of the best. It doesn't clot either. I'm definitely buying this mascara again when im out!

tried this on a whim, frustrated with Lancome Eternicils in Black (its grey!!) and was finding Great Lash Waterproof just not great enough, wanted a change from my other go-to, L'Oreal Voluminous Waterproof....MAC Loud is great! long spidery lashes, nice and black and i am a notorious mascara melter- no smudging, flaking from 9am until the end of last night's hockey game, home at 10:30pm. amazing for me! a nice natural look, long and soft- very soft for waterproof, easy removal with oil based remover. love it, will definately repurchase!

I tried this one out and was told by my favorite SA that it WILL NOT come off unless you take it off with an oil based remover. It stayed on pretty well. However, I always have a smudging problem and by the end of the day this did smudge just a little bit. But not horribly. The part that I was really impressed with was how well it held the curl. I have super straight Asian lashes that don't hold a curl. I even tried it once without curling them once and it wasn't bad. If you don't mind using an oil-based remover and don't have super oily eyelids, I highly recommend this. Especially if you have straight lashes.

I have never had any luck with any waterproof/smudge proof mascaras and have tried expensive department store products (Shiseido) with the same results. They always end up feeling gloopy and transfer all around my oily Asian eyes.
A friend at MAC suggested I try this with a warning that the brush is a bit fat and that the product is a bit clumpy. I have to say that she was right all around. It is the best waterproof & smudge proof mascara I've used to date. It stays all day without smudging and feeling soft & melted by the end of day. I recommend curling lashes first before use. Then combing though to remove any clumps, which are usually very minor. I remove it using the MAC Super Cleansing Oil followed by Dove Sensitive Skin Soap to remove the oily residue feel. Lid Care pads are also excellent, again followed by soap and water.
Loud Lash MAC Mascara seems to be popular item as it's out of stock regularly.
Update - Aug., 18, 2009: This has been discontinued for quite some time. I've switched to 'blinc tube mascara' and am happy with the staying factor and complete lack of smudging. Not the greatest for thickening, but great for daytime use.
Age: 18 & Under Skin: Acne-prone, Fair-Medium Hair: Blond Eyes: Brown
I love this mascara because the brush is big and easy to work with, it dosn't flake at all, and it stays put throughout the day. It also really is waterproof, because after my swim practices, it looks just as good as it did before I got in the water. Even though it was waterproof, it is also easily removed with an oil-based makeup remover. My only problem with this mascara is that I found it clumped a little bit at the ends, so you have to whisk your brush quickly to avoid them . .

It's the one of the best mascara I've used :) It doesn't smudge on me and looks very natural. If you get the wand close enough to the base of the lashes, it will give natural eye liner. I've got mine in brown and love it lots. The store here hardly stock the black one :( Wish I could try black~!

I ran out of Diorshow so decided to go with MAC mascara for once, and for the price, 12euros, it's quite good.Gives big, seperate lashes, and as mentioned in another review, it really is waterproof.
Will repurchase because it's a good product, and if price stays the same but Diorshow is still my fave!

I love using this on myself as well as for my brides when I do a wedding. It's waterproof (REALLY WATERPROOF, not like how some brands say they are and still smudge), can be layered on, but looks natural and holds a curl. It will clump if you don't put it on correctly or layer too much, but overall, it's a great mascara for the price and it lasts all day!
Age: 19-24 Skin: Oily, Medium Hair: Blond Eyes: Green
This is my everyday mascara & I swiched to this from Blinc (which stays put but doesn't do anything for my lashes).
Bad points: Really difficult to remove & dries very quickly.
Good points: Lengthens/curls enough without looking fake, seperates, strong colour, good brush - little goes on my skin, minimal smudges/flakes, 100% waterproof & no irritation.
Overall: In an everyday mascara I want to be able to forget I'm wearing it - this definitely did that. Secondly, while I want to remainfairly natural looking, I also want a touch of glamour - this does that. If you apply layers when it's drying it will go spidery & you need a good make-up remover, but once that's sorted I believe it's a top daily mascara. Definitely will re-purchase, unless anything better comes out!

Reminds me of Full n Soft, but as mentioned, is a nightmare to get off. Doesn't flake or smudge though, and it looks good.
Age: 19-24 Skin: Normal, Olive Hair: Brunette Eyes: Green
I like this, i was looking for something that wasnt going to clump or make my lashes look crazy-long, because i already have quite long eyelashes. I just wanted something to define them some. Since i cant find Full N' Soft by maybelline anywhere, this is the next best thing - will buy again for sure
