i got this as a sample. i have used it twice mixed with a small amount of lotion, and havn't noticed a difference i dont think. it also smells terrible!! i know most self tanners have that self tanner smell, but this one is really strong. Every time my brother walked my me today he would complain. It hasn't looked fake or orange, but hasn't had much of a result. The bottle leaks alot too and gets all over my other products, i think it is because it is very liquidy. :(

I really like this self tanner, and only gave it 4 cuz its a bit expensive. But the color is very nice and golden...I don't really recommend it for very fair skin cuz the color can be intense. Also, the best way it worked for me is putting it on at night sleeping and in the morning the color was vivid...I think it was something about the oxidizing that didn't make it work as good during the day time. Maybe thats just me.

Edited to say: This is the best self tanner EVER!! I am so pleased I bought it on impulse - definitely my HG!
Now read on...

I am surprised how bad reviews this product has had!! I wonder if I'm reviewing the same product? Self Tan Go Bronze Plus for Body. It's tinted.
Anyway - I have tried pretty much every single self tanner out there, incl brands like St Tropez and Fake Bake. I am very pale naturally, and I find that fake tans don't stay on, as if they dont work on my skin. Not this one. I applied it, and after less than an hour I've got a gorgeous glowing golden tan! I'm neither orange, nor patchy!! I have a feeling this is the type of tan you only need to apply 2-3 times a week for it to keep topped up and golden brown. Remember with all fake tans, the more you apply it the more fake it will look.
Ok, so it takes a while for it to dry, and admittedly tinted tans can be a bit of a pain in the butt, but if that is the only downside then I don't mind. At the end of the day I just want a good end result.
The key to an even tan is exfoliate and moisturise beforehands, I did this and got excellent results. I don't mind the smell, infact I think it smells way better than some other self tans out there - although the reason I took one lippie off is because the smell stays in your clothes and after a while starts smelling a bit weird. Therefore I think this tan is one to put on at night before going to bed - and then shower in the morning.
I didn't plan to buy this but did it on impulse, as Boots had an offer on (buy min 2 EL products and recieve a free goody bag). I was buying DoubleWear anyway and couldn't think of anything else to buy when I saw this bottle, and thought ''sod it, I'm gonna give it a go''. So happy I did. I will never use anything else now, believe me I've tried them ALL.

This is the worst self tanner ever! And I've tried looots. It's like brown water, so it gets really difficult to apply without making a mess. Besides, it smells horrible (so do your skin and clothes).
The result is the worst: non homogeneus, full of brown spots. And if some water splashes you, you get discoloured like if you were stained with mud.
Awful. Don't lose your money.

I tried this product to tan my legs before a spring vacation. The results were good. It left a light shimmery finish as well as a good looking tan. A couple of things I didn't like: The strong buttery, popcorn mixed with sweat fragrance. And the consistency is quite runny. Plus, it's a little pricey- I paid a little over $25 for a small tube. Won't buy again.

This is a review for the Go Bronze Plus Tinted Self-Tanner for Body and I have never been so disappointed with a self-tanner. I have tried loads of different brands and was enticed into trying this one due to its moisturising and anti-oxidant properties, as well as the healthy-glow tint. Unfortunately, this product has the consistency of water and when I opened the tube it went all over my bathroom floor! It also has the WORST self-tan smell I have even experienced - and the blurb on the box markets it as being a pleasant! smell! I took it back to the counter I bought it, thinking it was off but apparently this is how the product is meant to be! The reason I gave it a 2/5 and not a 1 is that despite the smell and very liquid consistency, the tint was lovely and the overall colour I get was natural and long-lasting. However, there are plenty of self-tanners which acheive this with a much easier application and nicer smell!!

I found the end colour result with Go Bronze was very natural, not too dark not too light. One of my favorite features of this product was it's "wearoffability" quality. On me, it truly faded like a natural tan would - no weird blotchy, flaky stuff going on. The downsides were that was quite runny so took a bit of handling but I think that added to the spreadability of it so it was not all bad. I also had to sit around and dry off for a while so this is not a product you want to use just before you need to go somewhere. I would purchase this again - if there weren't so many others out there on the market now to try as well! But I should say that I am not a daily self-tanner user - it takes me a while to use them up. I'll use one for a few days and then lay off it for a while as I have found that most self tanners I have tried so far are a bit drying after a while.

I really got off on the wrong foot (so to speak!) with this product, as wouldn't you know, I had to get the one with the defective cap that was impossible to open unless you bulked up on steroids the night before. Plus, try doing it after you've slathered yourself in moisturizer after a shower-I'd finally manage to yank the cover off, only to have some of the product fly out of the tube. Nice.
Which leads me to my next complaint; the consistency. Absolutely the worst. So runny, making it just a nightmare to apply. The stuff would get between my fingers even more than regular tanner and just, yuck.
Plus the runny consistency resulted in a streaky mess. I tried to blend, but the poor consistency hindered my efforts so that the next day, yes, it looked like I had POO running down the inside of my leg! It was just awful and so embarrassing. As with any self-tanner, one needs to be careful when applying around the feet and ankle area, but with Go Bronze, extra care, or should I say, "caution" is needed, or the dreaded "poo look" appears again, only this time in ugly brown blotches!
Actually, the color in and of itseld is not so bad and probably the best part of the product; a deep tan with a hint of shimmer. But that leads me to my final complaint, which is that this product is sooo drying, the dark tan you get really winds up looking caky and gross on your legs within a day or two. Imagine two day old dark, splotchy poo marks on your dry skin. Just terrible, I know. The thing is, I can see a dry formula maybe for the face, but the legs? That's where anyone's skin can handle the ingredients for a glowy look!
I hate to write a negative review (the good ones are always more fun), but this product is so bad, I honestly felt I had to warn you ladies before the summer season kicks into high gear. (As I continue my search, I'm preparing to buy modelco spray bronzer, which I have heard very good things about. I'll report.)

I got really really disappointed with Estee Lauder products soooo many times yet I keep giving them another chance to be disappointed even more. Must be a sign of being delusional. This product dries my skin even though I normally have really oily skin, stinks like hell and is runny like clear water. I could put up with all of this for the sake of having a nice tan but here comes another disappointment - hardly any colour at all. I don't intend to apply the tanner every night for a few days to have just a hint of colour. If I wanted that I would just buy gradually tanning moisturiser. Since I've mentioned that, I actually get more colour from these products and they usually cost one third of what I paid for this. I will never buy this crap again and strongly recommend against using it.

I adore this product for a natural, even looking tan that is easy to correct when you make mistakes. I have acne prone skin and I use this on my body and face with no problems. It goes on tinted so you can easily tell where it is; the only downside is that it's a little runny (although I think they've recently changed the formula to make it less runny) and, as with most self-tanners, it smells terrible.

This stuff is gross. Its not a lotion or cream, its a runny tinted water. Gross consistency. As far as self tanner, it has the standard self tanner scent. Easy to appy but kinda orange color. Not a great tan color. I wouldnt repurchase.

With this purchase I was finally branching off from my strickly Drugstore habits, and buying something more 'high end'. I soon found out that with Go Bronze, the only thing high end about it is the price! The colorguide is a strange translucent pink colour, full of sparkles, and very unflattering when applied over my PPP skin. The smell tolerable and very floraly, but can get a bit overwhelming when applied over entire body, thats for sure. Application is horrible! This stuff is like water - its so thin and runny that youd be lucky if you got any on your body, most of it drips through your fingers. In the end, I was left with very little color, and the colour I did have was a light yellow. Bottom line: This stuff is just way to expensive, and not worth it!

I bought this based on recommendations from others and web product reviews. I am very happy with this product - it lives up to the hype. The color is very natural whether I have a natural base tan or not and it fades exactly like a natural tan would. Application is straightforward: It's a dual self-tanning product that includes a bronzer so you can see where you have applied. Go Bronze actually smells quite nice too. Somehow the Estee Lauder chemists have found a way to cover that DHT odor quite nicely. I am holding back one lippy as the product texture is a bit runny. (I have also used Fake Bake self-tanner which is more gel-like and easier to apply than this one so this is not quite a self-tanner HG for me but really close).

This is another love-hate relationship! I love the color it looks beautiful and natural without streaking. The scent is just horrible! Sickening, heavy perfumey scent that just hangs in the air wherever you go. Maybe it would be better to apply at night, let dry before jumping into bed - then shower it off in the morning to reduce the scent. We want to smell clean, not like we've been to a funeral parlor with 100 old ladies. Estee Lauder, you need to do something about the STINK! Product is a bit too runny and could be thickened for better application. Also, it takes a while to dry, a tad too sticky for my taste.

Not a fan of the Go Bronze. Annoying runny consistency, leaky packaging, and not a lot of bang for your buck, considering the amount of color that showed on my legs. The smell made me feel sick. Self-tanning shouldn't make you want to vomit.

This tanner is okay. The smell on this tanner is HORRIBLE, and it seems to get worst as the hours go on. I put it on at night and when I woke up my room smelled of it, and my sheets smelled awful I had to air out my room & wash my sheets and everything. Prob. one of the worst smelling tanners I've ever used. Also, the color isn't very dark at all & the bottle seems to leak sometimes at the top and the color spills everywhere. It's good if you want a really light natural color,(it doesn't turn orange at all) but if you want something really dark I wouldn't waste your money on it. It's also fairly expensive but it seems to last a long time (I got mine at Saks for about 31.00$). I wouldn't buy it again because there are other self tanners that give the same effect for a much cheaper price. Again, Recommended for people who want a really light color. However, it does work well on my face & doesn't cause break-outs.

Well, after seaching high and low for a good self tanner I discover this one. It is simply the best I have bought (so far). It turned my skin a golden brown (which was my aim) and was easy to apply because the tanner is a tinted lotion. It contained a slight glitter which I thought was nice considering it was the summer! It wasn't too thick so it was easy to apply and spread. I wouldn't recommend it for facial use, however, it made my face feel quite greasy. My only complaints are that the snap lid doesnt snap closed all the way (all 3 bottles i've bought have been that way) and the color seems to fade quite fast. At that price (approx 35CDN) I can't afford to have to restock EVERY 2 weeks. If you are looking for a cheap one, however, I recommend Coppertone's Endless Summer. Turns an AMAZING brownish red smell, but it really stinks and tends to be quite greasy.

Again another Estee Lauder product that I bought and I hate. I don't know why I keep buying their stuff oh well . Anyway I do not like this at all again it made me look to orange and the smell made me sick it also stains really bad even after it dries. I like to wear alot of white and pink so this is bad for me. I will never buy this again it is horrible.

I LOVE this self tanner. The smell isn't great but its worth it for the color you get. I work at a tanning salon so i tan my body, but i use this product on my face (my face doesnt tan well) and it looks great. Like another reviewer said, it doesn't last very long which is the only major downfall. It is best to use it at night before bed. It doesn't streak and you can see where you put it because it has a bronzer added in!
