This stuff is packaged very similarly to Kerastase's treatment conditioners which are in a tub like this. The scent is absolutely heavenly and this may very well be one of the best hair treatment masques I have ever used. I only left on a few mins. as it says on the package, but if I leave it on in my usual 30 mins. look out! Will try it that way and get back to ya. So far really makes my hair soft and shiny and doesn't seem to weigh it down. KNOCK ON WOOD!!!

I loved the smell of this, but as a deep conditioner it didn't do what I wanted. My hair tangled and didn't feel conditioned. Suave does a better job of conditioning.

I had the same trouble with the shampoo and regular conditioner. They left my hair feeling stripped dry and tangly.

I had been wanting to try this for years, so I was thrilled when I got this for $3 on clearance at Target w/ a jar of the styling creme. I haven't used the styling creme, but treatment conditioner left my hair feeling very good, and not at all weighed down. It smells fantastic, just like pumpkin pie. my only complain it the jar. My experience w/ flip top lids (such as this one has) is that though they're great in theory, in practice they're not very practical. I just screw the whole lid off and that negates the problem. I'm not sure I would pay $25 (normal price online), but up to $15 I think is reasonable because it performs so well and the size of the jar is generous.

I have bought this for 5$ with a shampoo for the same brand, from Target. I think it was discontinued and that is why it is very cheap.
Anyways, when I looked up this product and saw it was being sold for over 25$ I was kinda surprised! for 5$ it does the work for the dollar it is payed for. However for 27$ dollars or so it is not good at all.
I used couple times, and honestly it is just okay, nothing too amazing, I didn't care because I only paid 5$ for it but by no means I would pay more than that for it.
So yeah unless you find it on sale I don't think I would recommend it at all.

I found this on sale at a local beauty supply so i thought what the hay ill give it a try. It smells absolutely delicious but thats it for me. It seemed to dry out my hair and make it tangly, and i dont normally have that problem. There is lots of good reviews and you can find it cheap so I'd rec trying it out. It just wasnt for me. LOVE the smell though. I wont repurchase.
Update: used this a couple more times and its not bad. Its not the greatest but its not horrible either. Upped from 1 to 3 lippies but I still wont buy again

I read all the review here on MUA but the price and the smell of pumpkin stopped me for sometimes.
I found mine at TJMAXX for about $9 so I decide to give a try. Best thing for my hair they looks alive again. itried a lot og high end brands but this product it is absolutely the best.
I will buy again at full price if I dont find a sale.
actually I also like the smell

This product is a little pricey and i was kinda skeptical about this...i mean pumpkin in your hair? but when i tried this, i loved it completey! and i love the packaging, there is a little lid so you dont have to twist it - MY HAIR: it is very long and i have been growing since bob length so it is also very damaged because i have not been cutting off the dead ends. It is not color treated but i do love my straightener. It gets tangled if i dont straighten it, but this is great, it makes my hair silky and touchale.

My hair was very dry after a bad color experience. I tried All soft mask (which works normally very well), Pantene pro-v restorative mask, and two or three other products without any results. Then, I saw the pumpkin puree masque. It was at 7,99$. I think that the regular price is 20$. I was first attracted by the name and... by THE amazing smell wich is like a pumpkin pie ! I put it in my hair after wash it with a clarifying shampoo and let it 5 minutes as indicate. My hair is very thin and I have the Victoria Beckam's haircut. It was so soft, bouncy and shiny ! It is a new HG for me !

EDIT : Now, my hair seems to hate this treatment.. I can't explain this negative reaction as it was so amazing at first... But really, it let my hair dry...

I think this may have too much protein in it because when I use it my hair is dry and dull. I put it on in the shower and leave it on for 10-15 mins and my hair is just not moisturized. I don't like it and won't repurchase.

This is by far the best deep conditioner I've ever bought!I thought that I've found a couple of good ones in the past year or so, but this one puts them to shame. For reference, I have waist-length, very thick curly hair.It really gets dry!It doesn't help that I color/heat style it alot. That's usually the only way it looks decent. This is a very expensive mask, but it's worth every red cent you'll spend on it, trust me.It makes my hair soooooo soft, & it smells great!I use it with my other new-found love, Biosilk Silk Therapy :-) My hair (with the use of those 2 products) looks & feels so great, I don't need to heat-style!2 thumbs way up from me!

I'd actually probably give this a 3.5+, I guess. I really love the smell, and I think this product is very moisturizing, but I don't like it for days when I'm blowdrying my hair straight. Instead, this seems to work very nicely on the days when I wear my hair curly (by scrunching the bejeezus out of it and using lots of product!). I don't really know how to explain it, but my hair just doesn't seem to look as nice when I use this and wear it straight (for those days I've been using Pureology's Hydrate--until I can find something better). (By the way, I have actually repurchased this already--I like it enough for that--but did so on a tip from an MUA'er here: I saw that someone found it at Marshall's, so I went to mine and scavenged the cosmetics area and found two containers'-worth. The inside plastic top sealing-thing had kind of dug into the conditioner itself in both containers, which I'm guessing may be why they had made their way to Marshall's--but it works, looks and smells the same as the container I had purchased full-price, so I'm willing to take one that's been opened or whatever to save the money!)

I love this conditioner! I bought it off of ebay because I wasn't sure about spending the $25 for a new product I could hate! Well, 7.99 later I got my tub in the mail. It's replaced my old HG deep conditoner ( Discontinued John Freida Blonde Hair Repair). I use this about 2-3 a week on my long, straight, fine hair. It's done a great job of giving me shiney, non- weighed down healthy hair.

This product, for the moment at least, is an HG for me. I had heard about it a few times on the hair board and happened to see it at Marshall's for $7.99 last weekend, so I figured it was worth a try. I have extremely dry, coarse, thick curly hair. I'd been straightening it for 10 years and just started wearing it curly semi-regularly this year.

I used this on Sunday on my whole head. Left it in while I did everything else in the shower - ~15 minutes or so. My hair definitely felt softer when I got out of the shower, but since I was wearing my hair curly with a lot of gel and mousse in it that day, I couldn't really feel or see the softness.

A few days later I used it just on my ends as I got out of the shower, and straightened my hair. It looked AMAZING. I got compliments left and right at work the next day, and my roommate who's known me for years says it's the best she's ever seen my hair look. It has body without being too huge or frizzy, is extremely shiny, and way sleeker than it's ever been when I had straightened it before.

I've been using a little on my ends every night on the way out of the shower and already my ends seem healthier than they have in years. My hair still looks just as great as it did the first day I used it.. almost a week ago.

It seems like people have had their hair sour on this stuff after awhile, so I'll update eventually. But for now.. I am in love.

Firstly, I got this product at Winners for only $7.99! I was not going to pay $15plus for this product. Anyway, I tried this treatment this morning on my relaxed hair and I have to say that it's great to use right after shampooing as it detangles the hair well and less hair is yanked out compared to when I use ABBA recoup. However, after rinsing it out, paradoxically, my hair felt coarse and there were flyaways! So, I quickly applied my ABBA Recoup conditioner and after rinsing it out, my hair felt luxuriously soft, silky and shiny black! My hair generally looks and feels nice if I use Recoup right after shampooing, but using the the masque first seemed to make Recoup conditioner work even better (i.e., more softer hair). In fact, it seems that the pumpkin treatment masque is great for prepping the hair for conditioner. However, used alone it did nothing for my hair AFTER rinsing out. As such, I only gave this product a *3* star as a stand alone product it's just average. Also, I would only purchase it again if I could buy it at a greatly discounted price.
UPDATE: July 3st, 2008. I hate this product! After one use, my hair ends felt even drier than ever before. I don't know how this could be a mask. As such, I changed my overall rating to *1" star. For the past 2 weeks or so, I've been using the Pumpkin Puree Shampoo and my ABBA Recoup and this combinatin works well with my relaxed hair. I would be willing to try the Pumpkin conditioner out of curiosity, but would only purchase it if it's on sale or if I could find it at a discount store like Winners.

I am passionately in love with this product, plain and simple. It smells amazing, like an *actual* pumpkin pie---no fake gross smells, just pure cinnamony pumpkin vanilla. I leave it in my hair in the shower for 3-5 minutes and my hair feels fantastic all day long, and well into the next couple of days as well. I love that it's cone-free, but I hate the price. I'm also not a huge fan of the packaging; I'd like it better in a squeeze tube. But it is seriously amazing, and for you ladies with damaged hair going cone-free, it will be a godsend. I'm still on the hunt trying to find a cheaper alternative... nothing so far!

My new HG cone free deep conditioner. The only product in the world that helps my static problem. I wanted to take 1 lippy off for the price ($24.99 at Ulta) but it is what it is & no one forced me to buy me. Very expensive but worth the price IMO. This is very moisturizing & left my hair very soft. This & Jessicurl WDT are cone free deep conditioner board favorites. I bought this one because I didn't want to order the other one off the 'net. I recommend if you're not on a budget.

Edit: After trying Jessicurl WDT, this one is MUCH better. More moisturizing, easy to find in stores & smells MUCH better.

Great pumpkin scent. Thick product which really moisturized my hair and left it shiny. The scent is best for Fall/Winter.

I bought this based on the reviews here. I like this for once a week use. I doesn't contain silicone or to much protein (if any) and makes my hair soft. I tried using this 2 days in a row and it was bad, can't really explain it but I had a really bad hair day.
I occasional use this now, I want something that moisturizes but leaves amazing shine.

I did not have as good luck with this as others. It wasn't that moisturizing on my coarse, colored hair and left it tangled. Seems to work for others, but not me. The smell is wonderful though.
