Just...no. Takes the worst parts of hairspray as a product in general and combines them. The "hold your breath" chemical smell? Check. The crunchy, stiff strands of hair? Check. Hair style falls out before a single hour is even up? Double check.

What I really don't like about this spray is that the actual product makes my hair look really messy- if I spray it over a curl that I just set with a curling iron, it weighs it down and then all these flyaway hairs pop up out of nowhere. Bought this at the suggestion of a Sephora S/A who, now that I look back on it, didn't really know that much about hair. I guess it's partially my fault? Anyway, at least I know what *not* to buy next time!

I have fine, very long blond hair and this hairspray is the only one that I have used that will not weigh my hair down. Its not so stiff that you can't restyle and it gives enough oomph to give me a messy look if I want that. What I love is the shine from this hairspray and that the scent does not linger in my hair since I don't want my hair smelling like product. The next day is even better, I don't feel like I have to wash my hair immediately. I keep coming back to this one.

Is this supposed to be a joke? This shouldn't even be called 'hairspray'. It didn't hold or anything. The only thing I like is the spray action. Its a nice mist. But other than that, this is crap. It's probably just water with a smell.

This is an extremely over-priced hairspray that only delivers average hold. There are numerous sprays on the market at various price points that work much better.

No only is this hairspray the most foul smelling product I've ever come across it's also a garbage hairspray. I have fairly short hair that's not hard to keep in place. This garbage can't hold it for 30 minute car ride to work. Horrible!

I have to give this product a negative review because I couldn't even force myself to get through the bottle. I am a big fan of Bumble & Bumble and I don't mind the high price for the quality of the products. I was using Spray De Mode before this and wanted to try them all just out of curiosity. (fyi: i have long medium-thickness hair that is not chemically treated but on the dry side) This Classic Hairspray is horrid. It is so extremely heavy and sticky that it made my hair impossible to work with and so heavy that i got headaches every day that I used this. The claim that it will brush-out is also completely false. Spray De Mode is "brush-out" which means I can brush it out completely at the end of the day and it feels like there is no product in it. And I can re-work it if desired. The Classic Hairspray barely allowed me to brush it out in the first place and if i forced it (and held back the tears) it left my hair feeling like it was coated in a thin layer of wax. Absolutely terrible. I highly recommend Spray De Mode if you would like to try a B&B hairspray.

This is one of my very favourite hairsprays! I adore the smell. I use this spray to add a little volume to my roots, hold my bangs when I go downtown on a windy day, to hold my curl and to hold my hair when I put it up. It makes my hair shiny and awesome looking. And it brushes out at the end of the day or is still workable the next day. I can't really comment on the price since I didn't pay for it, but I might purchase it again (although between my mother and I, we have over 50 bottles of hairspray, so I'm not sure I would even NEED to repurchase this). I'm sad to see this got such poor reviews, cause I think it's awesome.

This hairspray is a complete waste of time and money! It has no hold whatsoever. I prefer a hairspray that has a light hold without making it stiff. I have gone back to my $3.50 Tresemme that I have used for at least two years. The price of the Bumble and Bumble is definitely not worth it. I must say some of the other Bumble and Bumble products meet my expectations! I have tried many of their products, but I'm just not happy with the Classic Hairspray and don't recommend it if you want a light hold to your hairstyle.

This is the best hairspray I've ever used. Granted, I haven't used A LOT of hairsprays, because I have heavy, thick, coarse hair (and a LOT of it) and in the past, hair spray has done absolutely nothing for me. (At least not in the classic sense of enabling an updo to stay all day, for instance. Hairspray does help me hold a curl, but I like something softer and less sticky for that purpose.) A stylist recommended this hairspray to me recently and, on an impulse, I tried a small bottle. Normally, when I put my layered hair up in a ponytail, I have to use tons of bobby pins and even then, it falls out. My hair is so thick, bobby pins have a tendency to stretch out and become useless (actually, so do rubber bands and ponytail holders). But today, I put my hair in a ponytail and it stayed all day long with only two bobby pins to hold my shorter layers in place. Moreover, despite the fact that it was super sticky (almost fly-paper gross) when I sprayed it in my hair, it actually brushed out at the end of the day. When I took my hair out of the ponytail and brushed it, it was actually soft and silky - this has never happened with a styling product that claimed to have any amount of hold. At this point, it's a holy grail product for me. Not for everyday (because it is really sticky) but definitely for updos or polished ponytails.

This is pretty much junk, IMO. It holds nothing whatsoever! I can put it in, and 5 minutes later, whatever styling I've done is gone. Plus, it smells awful - I have to stick my head out in the hall after spraying it on in the bathroom. The only way I can use it is by spraying on prior to flatironing my hair, which it works well for. What I do like about it is that it brushes out, and some of the outrageus cost went toward breast cancer research (when I bought it in October). I will definitely not repurchase this.

This is my favorite hairspray. Never makes hair crunchy or dry, but it holds really well and for the whole day. I was expecting a lot considering the price, and I'm not disappointed. It's exactly what I want hairspray to be. works perfectly for my hair. I'm usually disappointed in the mediocrity of the conditioners from b&b, but I do like their hairsprays.

This product comes out in a *very* nice mist - disperses into a cloudlike mist, really the gentlest application i've ever seen in a hairspray. I don't find the scent very strong, it subtley smells like honey to me. I have long, fine hair and this is my HG hairspray.

this is absolutely the greatest hairspray made; i have to pull my hair back in a bun for work and it always keeps it in place. I use it before styling, after styling, and in between. i never have problems with my hair once i used this , its amazing! the smell isn't bad, just different but it goes away. this stuff doesn't flake or get sticky, but you get major hold. definitely worth the $20 for a can

This is a really good hairspray, it holds really well. I can't really say much about the scent of it though, it's quite strange. It doesn't smell like your average sweet smelling hairspray. It really holds well though

The function of this hairspray is a 3-- it works adequately, holds hair in place without being too stiff, doesn't flake, and doesn't seem to cause buildup. It does rough up the cuticle a bit or it would be a 4. Unfortunately, I can't bear to use it because the smell is just really offensive to me. I'm not usually picky about product smells, they usually dissapate in a few minutes anyway. The smell of this hairspray, however, floated around my head all day (and I only used it lightly to set a hot rollered style). It literally knocked out all traces of my parfume, and smells almost rancid. I don't know quite how to describe it, and I swear I'm not trying to be dramatic, I just didn't want the day-long stench.

I bought a 4 oz of this spray yesterday. ICK! Absolutely no hold whatsoever. I sprayed, and sprayed, and sprayed, and my hair was limp by the time I walked out the door 10 minutes later. An absolute waste of $10.

This is great hairspray--not sticky or harsh like other sprays I've tried. I also like that it comes out in a very fine mist. Nice.

This is a nice product, it provides good hold without making my hair too stiff and doesn't dry out my hair either. I'd buy this again if it weren't for the unfortunate scent - to me it smells just like bug spray. It's too bad B and B only makes shampoo and conditioner in the Creme de Coco scent, I'd love to have it in a hairspray!
