Iam like the previous reviewer; I liked this at first, but once I got home & used it....didn't care for it at all. This perfume does not smell bad by any means, it's just not anything that catches my attention. The bottle this comes in is so small, so you also do not get much for your money....which was another turn off for me. I ended up throwing this perfume away. I obviously, will not be purchasing this again. & I honestly don't remember what I was thinking when I bought it in the first place. Oh well.

I thought I rlly liked this fragrqnce but I was wrong. I brought this for my sister in a gift set for xmas last year. I always wondered why sbe hasnt used it and now I know. Today I bought a 3.5 fl oz bottle for 21.99, and when I sprayed it on my wrist I thought it smelled bad. Its just too strong with no fruits in it at all. Idk how I rlly liked this perfume smh. Time to return this cheap smelling perfume.

Smells good, but I'm not in love. The scent is kind of generic on me; it's not a gorgeous, memorable fragrance. The bottle is cute, cute, cute though.

Well, what can I say....this is pretty meh. On me, it smells entirely of sugar. Cotton candy, rainbows, vanilla, yum yum. There doesn't seem to be any kind of floral aspect, no fruit, nothing.

It's like Pink Sugar, in fact, it smells like a crazy good dupe! Personally, I'm not a fan, but men love this fragrance like they love Pink Sugar. Everyone from my younger brother, to my guy friends, and my father have commented that this smells phenomenal.

My mother and female friends DESPISE it, and...honestly, I kind of do as well. It makes me grimace when I smell it on my wrists.

My favorite perfume. It makes me feel pretty every time I put it on. I love the packaging, although it is not good for traveling or bringing in your purse...otherwise, no complaints. Price is good for a bottle of its size (compared to other perfumes at least). I payed 20 for mine, and it's lasted me about a year now (with still half a bottle left). Love love love!

This has been my HG fragrance for years. I stray every now and then but always come back. It was the first real perfume I bought for myself years ago and whenever I'm at the mall and find it in one of those perfume shops I'm quick to snatch a backup up. The smell is sweet without being foody or too strong and has amazing staying power on my skin and clothes. It's a shame it's so hard to find nowadays, especially since everyone who has ever smelled it (without knowing it's what I wear/on the rare occasion I'm not wearing it) says it simply smells like me. Finding a scent I love that fits my style and personality is hard but I did it! Signature scent, hands down.

There is no better fragrance out there as far as smell wise. This stuff is very gorgeous it is overly sweet, warm and fruity. The only fragrance in my opinion that can hold a candle to this but not a lit candle is lancome hypnose. I took a lippie off for staying power I have to respray thought the day but I like this scent so much it doesn't matter. The bottle and pink plastic top are very cute and unique I like the packaging as well would you rather have a boring bottle like obsession? Lol it looks like an old fashioned capsule. I like the bottle and top its funky and cool to me it looks like a pink waffle lol! Overall this fragrance is top notch!

This smells like strawberries with a hint of vanilla. That's it. I can probably find something similar at Bath & Body Works. I will not repurchase

My HG scent is Prada Prada, and though this is nothing like it I love it! The initial scent as others have mentioned is not great- but the dry-down is amazing, I love the way me & my clothes smell after an hour with this perfume on. When I first smelled this I thought it was garbage/old lady perfume, but then smelled an hour later with my body chemistry and boom boom pow. Ending up with half a 3.4oz bottle had me using this daily for 6 months when I'd been using Prada for 3-4 years straight!
The scent is just so cozy and sexy and feminine. I love Betsey Johnson in everything she does :)

First off, love love the packaging!
Now I was about to purchase this because I had tested it before and I liked it.
But I thought I'd try it again first. So I spritzed on some and let it settle in for a while.
It's quite strong. I kept sniffing it and thinking I've smelled this recently..something similar. I left the store and thought about it all night.
Then it dawned on me - this smells just like Halle by Halle berry! Very very similar. Betsey is just a couple notes off but they both have that warm musky amber and vanilla goodness. I already own Halle and I find it a bit heavy, so I didn't end up purchasing Bestsey.
If you like Betsey I guarantee you will like Halle.

My Mom got this for me for Christmas and when I first smelt it in the bottle I didn't like it. It seemed really powderey and strong. But as soon as I sprayed it on my wrists, I fell in love.

On me, it smells very feminine; flowery, sweet, and a bit warm. It has a slight "powdery" smell to it still but I actually like it. :)
It's amazing and I'm so sad that it is being dicontinued (or so I've heard.)

I get so many compliments when I wear this perfume, from both girls and guys, of all age ranges. My girl and guy friends love it (especially the guys), and so do my Mom's friends. And even random people at the mall or Walmart! Haha.

First off, I love the crazy bottle topper on this! It's darling, and I know I'll be putting it on a window ledge as soon as the juice is out (wouldn't want to let light ruin the actual product). Pros: it has decent lasting power on me, and the scent is full but not overly overpowering. Cons: The first fifteen minutes or so are awful on me, and just really screechy.

I love gourmand scents. I draw the line tho with Britney Fantasy which I feel does not wear well on a person but does well as bathroom spray. Betsey Johnson sits well with my chemistry and doesn't give headaches. It's sweet but dries down to something pleasant and not so sweet. I spray once between the breast bone under my shirts so most of the scent goes to my nose rather than everyone else. My gripe: tacky plastic topper. Will not buy again as I love collecting perfumes and one bottle will outlast my liking for it in years to come.

A good friend of mine has this perfume and while she loves it I absolutely hate it! It is way too strong and reminds me of my grandmother. Maybe ok for older people but for people under 40 I would not suggest this one at all.

Best perfume ever. It smells sooooo amazing. I love it but I heard something about it being discontinued last year? so sad. I hope it comes back to stores soon because i've tried all the perfumes there are and there's nothing that even compares to this. I get compliments everywhere i go wearing this. from girls and guys which is odd. It smells really sexy and warm. time to go to ebay.

At first this scent goes on very strong. Im not head over heels in love with it, but it does have good staying power and I can put it on in the morning before school and still smell it in my late afternoon class. One thing I notice about this fragrance more than any one i have ever owned is that it is an instant guy magnet! I always, always get compliments from guys when I wear this. It is almost as if it has pheromones in it. Not sure if I would buy it again, unless i found a smaller purse size bottle though.

EDIT: After wearing it constantly for about 2 weeks... I must now admit that I am IN LOVE with this perfume. The dry down is absolutly gorgeous... It reminds me of the smell of a doll.... Warm gourmand vanilla.... Yep, I changed my mind :)

It starts off very sweet an kind of overpowering. Then after a few minutes, I can already smell the musk and vanilla. To me, it smells very powdery and old ladyish. I just don't like musk in my perfumes. If you love Armani Code, you will like this one too. My favorite part of this smell is after you've been wearing it for a few hours. I don't get that musky incent smell anymore but rather a very soft and sweet warm vanilla. Overall it is a good little perfume if you like musk. But if you don't I suggest you look for something else.

I have mixed feelings about this fragrance. A part of me likes it, and a part of me is annoyed by it. Although it starts out very strong, I mostly enjoy this perfume when I first put it on. It smells like a mix of spices, flowers, and vanilla, which sounds kind of weird, but it works. Once it settles, it becomes an almost too sweet plain vanilla. I enjoy sweet scents ( I own Pink Sugar) but this scents turns almost grossly sweet. If it held on to the complexity it has in the beginning, I'd like it much better. This is of course the reaction with my personal body chemistry, but this could be the outcome for someone else as well. Because this scent has such warmth and heaviness to it, it's definitely best for cold, not cool, but COLD weather.

As for the packaging, it's kind of cute, but could have been so much better. The top is all plastic and looks really cheap up close. I guess they were going for girly but funky look Betsey Johnson is known for, but it was executed poorly. Definitely stands out from the rest of perfumes though!

I would give this a 3.5 if I could. This isn't the most original scent out there and it reminds me a bit of Fantasy by Britney Spears but not as pleasant. On me it's a very "loud" spicy, fruity fragrance with vanilla. It's not awful but just lacks refinement....not that Fantasy smells particularly refined mind you, but this scent just sits a little too sharply on me and just seems to scream out "I'm wearing perfume!!" rather than meshing with me. Not a fragrance I will re-purchase.

What is not to love about this perfume???!? The box is adorable, bottle is fantastic and sooooo show worthy on my vanity and the scent is to die for!!! I came across a sample of this several years ago but forgot about it until I came across it at a warehouse sale for $30cdn. The scent is complex and hard to describe but it starts out super girly, sugary and sweet then turns a sweet vanilla-y musk which is just divine!!! My new fave scent, don't know what I'll do if they ever discontinue..... Lovesssssss it!!!!
