I bought this in 2012 and this must definitely be a different formula than was previously reviewed. I love this mascara. My HG mascara is Chanel Inimitable, and nothing else has ever come close. Not Definicils, not Lash Blast, not anything. This Kirkland Borghese mascara is pretty darn close. I only wish it had the spike rubber wand instead of the traditional brush kind. But when it's 2 for $15, I can live with that. This one is also waterproof, but doesn't get too dry like waterproof mascaras can sometimes be.

They must have changed the formula because I recently bought this mascara and it's great. It really elongates and darkens the lashes while keeping them somewhat natural looking.

So I saw this at Costco. It had a manufacturer's rebate, so it would cost $3.97 for two mascaras. The cost lured me in.
I was dissappointed in this mascara~Like the previous poster, it did nothing for my lashes at all. I wasn't fond of Maybelline Great Lash and sorry to say but Great Lash is better than this. I will not be buying this again!

I have short, sparse eyelashes. I am very happy with this mascara. It does as good a job, if not better, than any other mascara I've tried. Previously I had used Almay One Coat and a Maybelline that I can't remember the name of right now (dark blue tube), a Clinique mascara, and many many others over the years that didn't work well enough to bother keeping. I bought the Kirkland Borghese at the same time I bought Kiss Me mascara for over $16. I have tried the Kiss Me mascara three times and I doubt I will use it again. It was way too subtle for what I need. I almost didn't buy the Kirkland mascara, since it didn't come in brown black. I bought the Rich Brown, and was pleasantly surprised to discover that it is a brown-black. I have yet to find a mascara that makes my eyelashes look truly long and lush, but the Kirkland brand easily makes them look almost twice as thick and long with just one quick coat. It goes on very smoothly with no lumps, and does a good job of keeping my lashes separated. I will definitely buy it again.

Costco is private labeling a line manufactured by Borghese. This mascara is so bad I returned it to the store. You can apply 3 or 4 coats, and it still looks like you have nothing on your eyelashes. I have no idea what they were thinking when they added this product.
