This is a nice eye shadow. It shows as a red plum on the container but on my skin it only looks like a dark chocolate brown. It is not very pigmented IMO. This shade was nothing special for me but it is great deal for that price.

I like this color. It looks way dark in the pan, but if you use a eye shadow brush and put it on lightly, it gives my eyes some nice definition. I understand you can use this eyeshadow wet too, so it would be a excellent eyeliner. Good stuff!

Spark is a wonderful eyeshadow! I love everything about it: the color, the texture, the wearability, and the pigment. It's very pigmented and wears nicely. Spark is a burgundy brown shade with shimmer that would look especially good with blue and green eyes. Prestige eyeshadows in general are an excellent buy, because they are reasonably priced and superior in texture and pigment. They come in big-sized compacts, too.

very pretty but too dark and cool on my dark tan skin but I highly recommend this one to all those fairer ladies who love plums

I just rediscovered this e/s; I bought it about a year ago and it's been living in my to-swap box for a while. I pulled it out recently and it's surprisingly pretty-- thank goodness I didn't swap it away! I think originally I was disappointed because it wasn't as plummy or unique as it looked in the pan. This is a plummy brown shade with subtle bronze shimmer. It's a plum-tone that looks natural on my HHH (MAC C4) skin. The application is smooth and not at all crumbly, unlike Champagne. Would definitely repurchase.

Well, for what this is it's OK I guess. I just was hoping for more of the unique color it showed in the pot (reddish burgundy brown), but unfortunately it was just a blah warm brown on. I am not a huge fan of browns, so this one is likely to spend some quality time at the bottom of the makeup graveyard drawer. Good pigmentation and silkiness though, like Wasabi this is one of the most finely milled and pigmented Prestige shadows.

outstanding shadow! this would get a rating of 5 all around regardless of the price. great texture, pigmentation, and very wearable color. it's as the others described, a reddish/burgundy/brown with a bit of shimmer (but not over the top). shows up nicely on my medium-dark asian skin tone. i doubt anybody would be disappointed with this one.

This shadow is a very pretty shade of burgandy...It has some plum and enough brown mixed in to make it nuetral...I even see a little red in it, it all mixes together to make a gorgeous hue.I use this with BE Nude Beach as a wash, it looks wonderful in the crease and on my PPP w/nuetral undertones makes a perfect liner that makes my brown eyes pop! A great product at a great price.

I just bought this yesterday (along w/ Almondine) and I am so impressed with the color and quality. It is a beautiful brownish burgandy color that looks great on! It actually looks exactly like a Lancome e/s I have but this costs 12$ less! Now I have 3 Prestige eyeshadows and plan to get more.

This is a fantastic eyeshadow, a shimmery reddish brown in the pot(like cherrywood), which goes on the eyelid as a warm rather neutral brown. It's a strong lookalike to Stila's Barefoot Contessa. It can be used dry or wet; the shimmer becomes much more apparent when applied wet. Absolutely wonderful quality for the price; not quite as soft and buttery as Stila or Shu, but still wonderful. If you don't already have a shadow this shade, definitely pick up this cheapie-but-goodie.

Spark is gorgeous, go buy it, no one should be without it. It is a browny-burgandy-plummy shade. Hard to describe, not hard to wear. Go, now, and buy this. For $3, what do you have to lose?

This is almost an exact duplicate of stila's barefoot contessa. A gorgeous, shimmery plummy brown, very verstile too, good as a wash, crease color or liner.

Spark really surprised me - its a bit scary looking in the package (very deep color), but it went on beautifully. A wonderful bargain compared to the higher-end brands it emulates. Prestige offers good color, the texture/quality is not as endearing as Stila or Urban Decay, but it really out performs for the price you pay.

Spark is a bronze brown that is absolutely gorgeous. Prestige shadows are highly pigmented and they don't crease or fade at all. I've had this for about a week and while the packaging is mucho cute it gets really annoying after a while. This looks gorgeous on my MMM skintone but I think it would work well on the fairer types as well. For three bucks and change I would definitely buy this again :D

i bought this because it looked kind of reddish rusty brown, but when i apply this to my lids it is a basic (but very pretty) metallic chocolatey brown. i don't notice too much plum or red in it - which is ok, because this is a perfect brown to use as a liner. i'm happy with this but am still going to splurge on UD and get a red - maybe gash or some other severe color ;) :X

Yes, this shade is a lot like Stila Twig and BC. It's best on me when used as a liner. The price is good and it holds up well. My local Rite Aid sells this line.

I actually prefer Spark to Barefoot Contessa, not only because of the price difference, but because it seems a bit more plummish than brown. One of the things that disappointed me about Barefoot Contessa when I saw it in person was that it just looked brownish bronze, when I was hoping for plum. It doesn't apply as smoothly as Stila's eyeshadow, but that's a small tradeoff for such a savings!

Spark is very very similar to Stila's Barefoot Contessa. It is a bronzey plum. I think it also looks similar to Stila Twig, but then again I think that BC and Twig are pretty similar anyway. It's not an *exact* match, but when you're saving $10, it doesn't have to be, right? Great quality, too.
