this product works quite well and has very fruity appley smell however:
it is very very sticky
AND
the nozzle of my spray has got completely clogged and i have tried hot water, scraping the gunk out etc etc but cannot get it to work - i have most of the bottle left so am annoyed that i can't use it - for this reason i would not buy again!

I have been using Curls Rock Amplifier and just recently bought the Curls Rock Booster along with this Curls Rock Hairspray. All I can say is, YESS thank you!! I used the Amplifier for years with some other scrunch spray and my curls were always weighed down and still frizzed up in the summer. First I shampoo and condition (alot of conditioner), and use a wide tooth comb after I put in conditioner. Then after the shower, I spray in the Booster lightly all over, then I use 1 pump (nickel - quarter size) of the Amplifier and scrunch that lightly through my hair. I use a diffuser on low heat because I'm usually in a rush in the mornings, and when my hair is about 90% dry, I lightly spray in the Curls Rock Hairspray. This holds my curls ALL DAY with shine, bounce, no frizz and even stays pretty nice through my workouts at the gym! I bought it at Rickys in NYC for about $20, it was pretty expensive but definitely worth it.

Good, long-wearing hairspray for curly hair. Light fruity scent. Does a nice job of controlling the frizz and giving my mane the appearance of having a style. No crunchiness, but I am usually careful not to overdo. Definite potential to be an HG. EDIT: It has been making my hair crunchy and unpleasant lately unless used very sparingly. Since I have all-over frizz, that doesn't really meet my needs. I have also noticed increased breakage since starting to use this and Big and Bigger. Am laying off the heavy hold products, which seems to solve the breakage issue. Oh well, back to the drawing board.

I love using this hairspray for my curls. However, I actually do find it sticky (very sticky), but that's how it holds my curls so well. My stylist suggested spraying and then scrunching my curls, and I do it fast because my hair sticks to my hand like glue. The hold is great and the smell is amazing. I do have a big problem with the packaging. I haven't been able to use my beloved hairspray in quite a while because the nozzle is so clogged with this sticky product. I'm always running it under hot water and peeling dry hairspray off of it, but it hasn't sprayed in weeks. If I can figure out how to unclog it or perhaps transfer it to another bottle (which undoubtedly will also clog), I'll go back to using it religiously.

This is my HG hairspray!! Love it. It smells soooo good and sweet..kinda like cotton candyish. Isn't sticky and nasty. Doesn't flake you out or cause your ends to dry out. Has the perfect amount of hold for my 3c curly hair. Leaves it smelling so good and looking really shiney. I spray this in when my hair is about 90% dry (with gel already distributed first) then do a little scrunch out fluffing hahaha. Kid you not this spray allows me to have perfect "perfect" second and third day hair with minimal frizz and a whole lot of shine!! (of course i put it up in a pineapple and wrap it with a satin scarf before i sleep) But yeah if you have very curly hair you should try this hairspray out. I always get tons of compliments so the proof is in the puddin'

I am so glad I tried this!!! I am in love with the Curls Rock line-- my favorite is the Curl Booster, but this hairspray is a close second! I use the booster on my hair before putting my hair in curlers, and I use the hairspray after the curlers are out. This hairspray smells like luscious melons-- normally I don't even like non-aerosol hairsprays, but this one is a winner, and it even offers some volume comparable to that of an aerosol spray. I can spray it on my hair in the car and my husband just comments on how good it smells! It doesn't have the initial sticky/hard phase like some other Tigi hairsprays (Masterpiece, Hard Head)-- just awesome immediate hold, softness, and shine! I get Tigi products at a discount so I'm not sure how much this retails for (I put the price as a 1 for me since I am not sure what the actual retail price is), but I would even purchase this at full price. This spray partners well with the Tigi Masterpiece, if you're looking for an aerosol spray to use with this (the Masterpiece also smells yummy); this comes in a 200 mL/6.76 fl. oz. size which doesn't seem like much for Tigi products, but since this is a liquid I can tell that it will last me a while. Lastly, if you don't like the fragrance or you are very sensitive, you might want to stay away from this-- the scent lingers in your hair. I have long hair and it doesn't bother me, but I love the smell and am used to smelling like perfume all day, so for me it's actually a plus!

It sprays a bit unevenly sometimes, since it isn't an aerosol spray, and it can leave my hair a bit crunchy (but that goes away after a while though.) Other than that I really like it! The smell is a bit strong, but that's OK since I like the smell... Reminds me of some sort of candy I had as a child. At the salon they said it was sort of medium hold, but I think the hold is quite strong... Could be because I've got fine hair perhaps, don't know.

After paying $18 for this stuff,I thought,"this had better work good,or back to the salon it goes!" And let me tell you..I love it!It is a light hold hairspray that holds a shape extremely well,and you can still run your fingers through it!It leaves your hair incredibly shiny,and the smell..oh,my goodness,don't get me started on the smell,it smells SO DELICIOUS!Kind of indescribable,sweet,like a cotton candy or something,and lasts all day!The smell alone is worth buying this..my boyfriend can't stop smelling my hair!I would definitely buy this again!

A medium hold hairspray designed for curly hair. Smells great. Has the right amount of hold for curly to wavy hair and even a good hairspray for straight hair if you don't want a whole lot of hold. Still allows your hair to have movement.
