best eyelash curler ive tried! i bought it when i was 12, a novice to the beauty world, buying my first eyelash curler. i dont remember the exact price, but i know it was dirt cheap. i can get all the way to the base of my eyelashes, gives a nice pretty curl that lasts all day. painless to use, because mine is 3 years old sometimes a corner eyelash gets stuck but it can be (relatively) easily extracted. again, thats because my curler is a little old and gone through a bit of wear and tear.
all in all; good solid lash curler.

I love this eyelash curler! It is only the second one I have tried, but I don't need to try any more as I have found my HG curler. The grip on the handle is a nice touch, and my eyelashes always curl with this! The curl stays for a long time, and it never crimps or damages my eyelashes. I spent $3.00 Canadian on it, yet I would spend a lot more!

First, let's get the bad news out of the way: though they look interchangeable, not all lash curlers are created equal (see my ELF review). The good news is, I've learned that you don't necessarily need a Shu Uemera budget to spare your fringe and your pain sensors. I'm about as Asian as a kilted bagpiper, but due to the specific shape of my eyes (narrow, fairly hooded--Lucy Liu meets Jennifer Lawrence), I often look to Asian girls for eye makeup advice, and a Thai-American acquaintance suggested I try this while I'm hitting up Ebay to bid on the (alleged) HG Shu contraption. So far, it's been an impressive ride. The spring mechanism seems random to the max, but it's nowhere near as bulky, unweildy or destructive as the Sally Hansen and ELF models. Rather, it's just big enough to capture all my lashes in a single squeeze, I've pinched myself a whopping one time (which was just me being a klutz), and I haven't lost a single lash. Best of all, it arranges my lashes in a soft, feathery upsweep rather than a 90-degree zigzag. Don't misunderstand, I plan to get my hands on the S.U. before year's end, but good old Revlon has made this a quest of curiosity rather than desperation.

First of all, I have really stubborn asian eyes, so many curlers don't work for me. This one, it does the job, but but after a while it straightens again. Even though it doesn't have the effeft i want, it works pretty well, and the price is low.

This is for the gold one (since I believe there's a silver one too, which is a tad cheaper).
I got this a few years back when I first started wearing makeup. I have Asian eyes - half-double eyelid. For my eyes, curling the eyelashes can make so much of a difference. This is my only eyelash curler so I don't have anything to compare it to but it gets its job done. I can get really close to the roots of the eyelashes with it but sometimes if I'm not being careful, I will pinch my lid. Now, that hurts like a emef-er. haha.
Overall, for the price, it's pretty good!

Not sure how much I can say about an eyelash curler, but here goes.
I've had this for about 3 months. The open/close mechanism was a bit tight at first, but it's loosened up a little now and is easier to use. The handles are sturdy and easy to grip. The silicone pad still seems to be in good shape after 3 months of almost daily use, so I haven't had to change it out yet (it came with 2 spares).
What I really like about this is that it matches my eye shape perfectly. My eyes are somewhere between round and almond-shaped and they are deep-set. I tried the E.L.F. eyelash curler that many like, but it was much too rounded and short to work for my eyes. It pinched my skin, whereas I get no pinching at all with this Revlon one. This one is comparable to the basic, cheap LaCross curler that I used to love but can no longer find in stores.
This is a good, solid curler (especially for the price) and I'll repurchase if it ever wears out.

I only own 2 eyelash curlers and they are from Revlon.
I purchased this particular gold color one at the Dollar store. This was actually my first eyelash curler and so far the best one that I haven't had the urge to buy a new one. The only downfall but not big deal for me is that the black grips fell off right away. Other than that I really like this eyelash curler and I wish I would of bought a few more just to keep the in stock incase I loose it. I've seen this particular gold one at Target four about $9 I think, not sure so the $1 I paid for has been well worth it.

I've tried a bunch of curlers and I love this. I don't know why I keep trying other ones cause this does a great job. Its not to expensive and comes with a extra curling pad.

I have big almond shaped eyes so I didn't have a problem with this curler but I could see how people with smaller eyes would have a problem. The curler does its job IMO. I see a lot of reviews saying that it pinches or hurts them, I think they don't know how to use a curler lol....I've been using it for 3 weeks and no pinching thus far lol

This is ok for me but it seems too big for my eye?? I don't know. I will use it but once it's time to replace, I will try another brand.

I hate to be one of the only dissenters, as I wanted to love this product, but it did nothing for my lashes. I have long lashes that curl pretty easily and I did not really see a difference.

Ok, here's the deal. This, if it doesn't pinch or give me red marks/bruises around the eye, would be a good curler. Except, it doesn't match my eye shape and it hurts my eyelid. I so want to love it because it curls so nicely, it does! But it hurtssssss so I have to chuck this away, give it to someone or put it up on a swap because I just can't use it.
I have this one in gold, by the way.
Maybe it's my Asian eyes shape and this Revlon might have been designed not for the Asian eye shape. I'm sure this is a good curler, if it fits your eye shape. It just didn't fit me, unfortunately.
Last note, it curls really nicely, and the cushion grip is nice to handle. But that's as far as I can compliment it, hence the 2 lippies

It gets the job done, and it gets it done very well. This is now my HG curler. It doesn't pinch my eyelids, it fits all of my lashes in, and it curls my lashes perfectly. Not much else to say except that I love it.

I bought the gold one thinking it might be better than the La Crosse curler I'd been using the last few months. Except for the gold color and the spring they are the exact same thing. They have the exact same shape. This one pinches too. It sits in the reject bin with the others. I just bought another brand to try and hopefully it will work better for me.

Does the trick--curls my lashes, and the results last for hours (almost all day!) if I set with a mascara! Would repurchase.

I purchased the shu uemura curler a while ago and gave it to a friend to borrow... I was in love with it! After not getting it back, I went out and bought the Revlon curler instead, since the shu uemura is a bit pricey. It worked the exact same! Why spend more money on a product?

i am absolutely in love with this curler! i will buy this forever. i seriously dont see how a shu or shi couldbe any better than this. and its sooo much cheaper!! it curls my lashes instantly and ever crimps which i ALWAYS had a problem with. this is one of my best buys of the year! definitely heat up with a blowdrier and press the curler on your hand to get the excess heat off. but this curls my lashes great even without heat for days when im rushing

This curler works really well for me. I like how it gives my eyes a more curled, swept-up appearance. It's easy to use and I've found that it doesn't tug on my eyelashes at all. Another thing I like about this curler is how I don't have to squeeze too hard to get the look I want.
