I am a big fan of the scent. However, it does not work well on dry hair.

I really like this shampoo! I wish I could give it a 4.5 but I couldn't so I gave it a 5. It cleans my hair very very well and the smell is great! I can still smell it a little bit after my hair's been dried. The reason why I would take .5 points off is because the ingredients in it may be a bit too harsh for everyday use. Don't let that discourage you though, because these are the ingredients found in A LOT of shampoos from different companies and it's hard to find one that doesn't have them. I wash my hair every 2 or 3 days, however, and for that use this is PERFECT. It leaves my hair soft and clean and it does not dry my hair out. I will definitely repurchase!

I like this shampoo & at the same time I'm disappointed, but all the same I might still repurchase this.

I like it because it's fresh & works great - cleans my hair, leaves it squeaky fresh & doesn't over-strip my natural hair (despite all the ALS in it).

I'm disappointed because it there's barely any apple fragrance. I love the color but I'd like it to smell more apple-y. The apple scent was the whole reason I searched high & low for this shampoo only to ultimately have to order it from Drugstore.com b/c none of my local stores carry it.

Well it's a great shampoo & the scent is nice but just a bit lacking.

Nice smell and cheap price. My hair is fine and very straight and I have found it left my hair quite frizzy after using it. Funny thing is, the coconut one didn't, so who knows why that is.

This smells A-M-A-Z-I-N-G-!!!!! like honestly too good to describe! Now for my hair, it makes my hair clean but not amazingly clean. Like it is a good shampoo but i wouldnt choose it as my favorite. It still works good and smells great but i would give it 4 lippies because it wasnt my favorite shampoo by suave. But its worth a try for your hair to smell good and feel kinda clean.

PROS: Very inexpensive. Wonderful scent.

CONS: This is not for dry or damaged hair. It's probably better for someone who wants more cleansing. Works well for my kids' hair.

I love the smell. After a week of daily use I decided to just use this like once or twice a month to remove build up. It makes my hair dry when used daily. But I will continue to buy this as it is cheap and smells nice.

My husband bought this for himself and after consulting the rreviews on MUA I decided to give it a try. I did a lot of swiming this summer and figured It would work well as a clarifying shampoo and follow up with a deep conditioner.

Yes it smells good and is cheap. however not only did it make my hair dry and strawlike, but it also gave me little bumps on the scalp and I have never had that reaction before to anything.

My husband however loves it and uses it as a body wash also.

I agree with kpow. This shampoo makes my hair feel like hay and the conditioner is unnecessary, since it does nothing.

Yes, this stuff is inexpensive and yes, it smells pretty yummy but it gets my hair so squeaky clean that it feels stripped and dry later, even with the conditioner, which is too runny and not very moisturizing to be called a conditioner in my book. Boo hoo.

In the past, I had only used this as a clarifiying shampoo. Recently, I was feeling rebellious against my stylist's advice and used it on a daily basis. At first, it wasn't bad, but after about 2 weeks, my hair was starting to look really wiry at the ends. The smell is nice, but it's too drying to use on a daily basis. It cleans well and is very cheap.

As a clarifying shampoo, I really like it. As an everyday shampoo, no thanks. I will keep buying it though, because I need something to take off the product buildup from my hair!

Nothing like a good recession to make me start hitting up the local Dollar Tree , I actually picked up the family sized bottle of this and the matching conditioner because my family was coming to visit for Easter back in March while I was still using Radiant Red stuff,, I decided to grow my hair color out { no idea what color it is , been coloring since 1996} so I went cold turkey on the Radiant Red and started using this ,, my hair is so much softer and healthier .. I will def. keep buying this. I use the shampoo and then apply the conditioner which is a little runny compared to the nice thick ones I'm used to but I leave it on while I shower and it really does seem to do the trick. A buck a pop compared to 10-15 for something that works,, Im sold :)

When I clicked the: "dirt cheap" catagory in this review I meant it! I have med long hair that can be slightly oily, i.e. I wash my hair everyday. I love the smell of green apple so I thought i'd give this a go. Works so well! Would be too drying on it's own YOU MUST USE THE APPLE CONDITIONER with this (and I usually don't use conditioner) BUT the end result is squeaky clean shiny great smelling hair!

This shampoo is incredibly cheap, and smells really fruity and juicy, just as good as the bath and body works apple scented line... it leaves my hair feeling clean and soft, but i think if you were to use it quite often, it could have a drying effect - it makes my hair feel "squeaky clean"! definitely best followed by a good conditioner.. still, good value.

I must say that I used to hate Suave, but the new improved formulas rock! This shampoo smells divine and leaves my hair soft and bouncy, not weighed down like with Pantene. The new shaped bottles are really cool and Suave has removed some of their drying ingredients to make the shampoo better. All that for a dollar! Other cheapie brands like White Rain do not hold a candle to Suave products. The matching conditioner is a little watery but I like it as I have oily hair and do not need much conditioning. A real winner!

For $1 (or $2 for the family size), this shampoo is not bad. Smells nice but it leaves my hair feeling a bit stripped and dry pre-conditioner.

I thought this shampoo was okay at first. Nothing spectacular, but okay. But I later found that my hair was getting more residue after shampooing. Won't repurchase. The only things I liked about it were its apple fragrance and the cheap price.
