Very very bad. Yes, its $10 so what did I expect, but I guess I still thought it might be ....ok. No, its dry, flat (absolutely no luminosity or 'dewy-ness' here) and cakey. It settles straight into pores and fine lines and looks about as flattering as putting talcum powder directly onto your face with a garden tool.

The lightest colour - Light - is pretty good though for PPP's. Quite pink toned. Use this product only if you are absolutely desperate, and perhaps no older than 18 :)

All in all this would have been a pretty decent foundation, if it didn't break me out so badly! I really loved it at first; coverage was buildable and natural looking, and after a bit of experimenting I found a pretty close color match, even the brush was pretty good. I've been using Milani minerals, which is ok, but the color is a bit too dark, and I can't wait to wash it off at the end of the day because it feels like a mask. This felt like there was literally nothing on my skin, but after a while it got itchy, and after about 2 days, I realized it was breaking me out pretty badly.

Awesome product. I was very surprised with the coverage it gives me, and the lasting power is great! My skin wasn't irritated at all even when I sweat.. (for many people their mineral makeup itches when they sweat) It did not look powdery or cakey at all. It looked very fresh.. and matched my tan skin tone perfectly. No yellow/orange or pinky tones! Just a beautiful golden. ****EDIT: I'm not sure what I was on when i wrote this review, but I discontinued use of it because it looked too heavy - and the color was slightly orange.

I loved this savvy mineral makeup! I have really been foundation shopping lately, and I started getting into the mineral foundations. I have tried everything from BE to physicians formula. BE works pretty well, but the price is pretty steep. My mother who is 46 found this at Sally's for 16.99 (15.99 if you're a Sally's member) She told me that I had to get it because it worked fabulously! I bought it the next day and absolutely fell in love with it! I got it for 14.99 because I am a cosmetology student.
In the package there is the foundation, mineral veil, and an applicator brush. There are only a few different color choices which frighten some people, but the colors really blend well with a wide range of skin tones. You can also manipulate the color by adding more or less mineral veil, which helps a lot.
In order to get the perfect amount out, punch out the first hole in each row so that you have a large circle, then, while moving towards the middle, punch out every other hole. You'll find that gives a perfect amount when you pour it into the lid to use.
My face looked flawless all day and I believe I like it better than BE. I have had no break outs at all since I have used this. The brush is very soft and spreads the makeup evenly when done in a circular motion.
I would highly suggest this product! Its a steal! If there isn't a Sally's beauty supply around you, then you should definitely order from the website. Its worth it.

Oh my gosh! I LOVE this make-up! I have tried BE like most of you and it empasized my pores and I think it made my teenage acne stand out even more than if I wouldn't have been wearing it. This make-up gives me fantastic coverage, it covers my acne and gives my skin a luminecent look to it. It's SO much cheaper than BE! I will definitly buy again!

**Edit** I used The foundation for a few weeks and noticed that the shimmer in the foundation that is sapposed to make you glow just made my already oily skin look REALLY oily. This product is probably good for people with not so oily skin, but for me my new combination of Everyday Minerals concealer and foundation works well enough.

Little color choice; packaged with 2 colors, fair and light, both of which were too pink; at $16.99, not a terrific bargain even if one of the colors had been right. Nice brush.

I could not wait to try this on my enlarged pore-oily skin. It was a failure. I hated the packaging. It went everywhere, and I can not even describe how weird this made my skin look. Glossy? Plastic coated? It was so odd. I am returning this to Sallys. Minerals must not be for me.

This is one of my first mmu attempts... and I love it. Not as expensive as others, easy to find, and it makes my skin look flawless. I think that MAC Studio Fix was making me break out, because my skin looks a lot clearer now.

SO I was at Sally's last night and picked up one
of these in the light set because of the reviews
on this board. Well either I am not using it right
or something but I did not care for it.
I had to wash it off and put on my liquid foundation.
I will update if I play around with it and it starts
to look better but as of now I will not repurchase
and I am no longer curious about the mineral make-up
it just does not work for me.

I totally love this stuff! I have thrown away all of my other powder/foundations band stocked up on some Savvy. I first saw it at Sally's and thought "hey its cheaper than bare minerals, and I have 90 days to return it, so why not?" I'm hooked. This minimizes pores, covers blemishes almost flawlessly (not completely, but almost!) and makes my skin just glow. I have yet to see a clogged pore and my skin is radiant, my boyfriend told me that I was beautiful without makeup (little suck up hehe!), but little did he know I was using Savvy! I also buy the Savvy blushes/bronzers and their mascaras and lipglosses. Savvy will be my everlasting makeup!

This is better than BE, in my opinion. The BE lightest color was too dark for my skin. Even Savvy's lightest color is not as light as I want it to be...but hey, it's pretty close. Anyway, this gives very good coverage and makes my skin look smooth. It minimizes my pores and erases most of my imperfections including my uneven skin and redness. This is also better than Physicians Formula mineral powder too. The brush is better than BE's brush...BE's brush shed like crazy.
Edit: The lightest color doesn't match my neck. It's too pink/dark for my pale warm toned skin. Disappointing since the coverage is PERFECT.

Edit yet again: I stopped using this but I started again. I think this has better coverage than the Everyday Minerals. Yes, my skin gets really oily later on but the makeup does NOT rub off and does NOT melt off either..which is why I decided that I really like this product. Yes, it's not the exact color as my skin...a little too on the cool side, but you can't really notice much.

I gotta jump on the bandwagon with this one. i love BE, but i find their shades can make me look yellow, even though i'm warm toned. i didn't mind the glowy effect of BE, but i didn't love it either. when i sweat it makes me itch too. I'm a die-hard Pureluxe fan, but i had to try this when i saw it on the shelf at Sally. this gives great coverage and is very natural looking. i've recieved two compliments from strangers on my skin since i started wearing this. The brush is fairly decent as well, but i prefer the BE kabuki for a more velvet finish. it sold out almost immediately in all my local stores, but if i see it on a shelf again i'll stock up. the bottom line is, it's cheaper and easier to get than the online boutiques, and it looks great. i hope they expand their line!

LOve the product and love the price.I bought it 2 days ago and last night i wanted to play around with it and test it out with some blush's and bronzers and afterwards i went to lay down with my hubby and he said "your skin looks soo clear and soft" i was like you cant tell i have make up on he said you have makeup on so yeah thats a huge compliment coming from him because he notices when i take the time to look nice for him but not in such little detail like that.Ive used JI,BE and Lore/BN but i like this one way better.try it its cheap as hec and comes with 2 colorsand a brush that looks like BE flawless applicator brush which i like better than BE.Only downside is that they only have 6 shades to choose from(3 kits)

I recently purchased the Savvy Mineral Makeup Kit (Medium/Tan) from Sally's Beauty Supply for $14.99. I am truly in love with this product. You get two (2) pots of mineral foundation and a BE style applicator brush. The foundation gives a luminescent finish that doesn't emphasize my large pores like BE does. I like this 100 times better than BE and it is so affordable. Gives great coverage too. Love it.
