It looks like I am the only one who dislikes this product. Its like alcohol in gel form. All it does is dry out my skin. It didn't really help with my blemishes. It makes the skin around the blemish peel so badly. The packaging isn't too good alot of the product pours out when you first open it.

This light gel works great on my breakouts without being too drying.

I bought this product a long time ago, but never really used it,. it just kind of sat on my shelf, until last night when i noticed i was starting to break out so i smeared the stuff all over the blemishes, and for about 5 seconds it burned like hell, then the next morning i woke up and the acne was noticably smaller! most of the small bums were cleared! i was so surprised! my skin was smoother, and not flaky, i was amazed. i don't know why it took me so long to use this stuff, but now that i know how awesome it is , when i use this stuff up i'll definetly be repurchasing.

I actually think I've found the best spot treatment for my stubborn breakouts! My acne mostly pops up in the most inconvenient times and on the most inconvenient areas--usually my chin and cheek areas (*stress!!*)....Almay BH has really made a difference in my skin-and for the good...I purchased this a while back while it was being clearanced out at Target, so unfortunatley I cannot find it anywhere else but ebay. Almay Blemish Healer is packaged in a cute yellow tube, and is part of a collection 1-2-3 set. I love the 1.0% Salylyic Acid as opposed to the usual 2.0% found in most other spot treatments. This means that when I use a toner following my face wash, I don't feel the uncomfortable stinging usually associated with SA. Whenever I feel a stubborn zit coming along, I dab a bit on and it dries into a matte finish. This is also great to use on 'exposed' acne, in other words--broken zits =O, because it doesn't sting and I find that it promotes healing and leaves no scars. Also, it prevents excess bacteria from entering the pores....

Overall, a great product to use as part of my skincare routine. I use this product probably once a week in a few troublesome areas, and have found that my skin feels smoother, and clearer....very happy =) yay!

This is a really good zit zapper. It is definetly a SPOT treatment, otherwise it will cause major flakes. This is reallllllly strong too when you first apply it. It actually burns (more like a harsh tingle) for the first 5 seconds.

I use the entire Clinique Acne Solutions kit, but when I have a single pimple I use this on it.

It works quickly at either bringing it to a head (mine don't normally have heads though), or making it "exfoliatable".

Love, love this stuff. Works in just days and is pretty gentle - causes a few flakies but not bad at all compared to other spot treatments I've tried. This is the best!

This may be the best acne spot treatment I have ever tried. Helps clear blemishes without dryness, redness, or flaking.

Clear gel spot-treatment for blemishes. This is part of Almay's new 1-2-3 line of products, and belongs with the "Oily Skin" group of products. It contains Meadowsweet which is a natural source of salicylic acid. Salicylic acid is very good for drying up and healing acne blemishes. This contains 1% salicylic acid so it is effective, yet will NOT overdry skin or cause flaking. Meadowseet is also a natural source of vitamins A, C and E which all contribute to the healing properties of this gel treatment. I use this just when I need it on individual blemishes, and it helps heal them up fast. I have been using the entire Almay 1-2-3 line for Oily skin and I am very pleased with all of the products! All of the products for Oily skin contain the Meadowsweet ingredient, and all are packaged in the same pale sunshine yellow colored containers so they are easy to find. 5 lippies! :)
