Cherry lipliner + Diva lipstick + Plus Luxe = sex bomb lips! Love this combo, though the formula has a strange scent to it.... as do all the plushglasses....yuck.... it reminds me of playdo...

I don't notice this doing anything to plump my lips, but I do love this shade over a red lipstick... to die for.

This is my favorite hot pink color. I love wearing it in the summer as it compliments my tan! It is a really wearable pink for us warm skinned girls who love the hot pinks but can't really pull of the fuschias that MAC seems to be so fond of making. It is really sheer and tingly on the lips. I could deal with a little more pigmentation and a little less tingle, but I am pretty happy with the color. I have full lips anyway, so I don't need the plumping action. For those who want to buy this product to plump your lips don't waste your time because it doesn't do one thing but look pretty, which is fine by me!

I do not like this color at all! It's too cool for my skin tone and lips. I didn't notice any plumping action although, i have full lips anyway, so no plumping action was needed. It didn't sting my lips, so that's good.
It doesn't really liven up my complexion..not like i really need it....but it does make my lips stand out in a not good way. I would definitely not buy this again because the color is not suitable for my ips and skintone and i didn't like the texture..was too thick and gooey!
I would not be buying plushglass or lipglass for that matter. However, I am in love with lustreglass and that i will be purchasing indefinitely :)

I love this gloss! It is such a bright, fun color! I was looking for a pretty, bright coral lip color and the MA suggested pairing Crosswires l/s with this l/g and I must say, it looks AMAZING! It really compliments my NC20 skintone and lights up my face. I can't wait to wear this by itself too!

Plus Luxe is one of the lipglosses from MAC's Plushglass line. I actually got it by accident. I was looking for Lychee Luxe but the salesperson gave me this one instead. I didn't know until I got home and saw a neon pink tube of gloss instead of a peach-coral one. I didn't return it though, as I was curious about it. And I could always buy Lychee Luxe next time if I really wanted it.

In the tube, it looks like it could be highlighter ink but on my lips, it is a bright pop of color that -I think- complements my complexion well. I wore it once with a bare face and my pictures from that night turned out fine.

It didn't do much plumping, a plus since I think my lips are big enough as they are. What suprised me was the sting it had. I didn't know the Plushglass line had that effect since I wasn't very familiar with MAC products yet at the time, so the sting was unexpected. It wasn't so bad though, just a new feeling for my lips then.

It definitely isn't my favorite gloss, but I'll be buying it when I run out for when I'm too lazy to put anything on.

Despite it’s neon colour in the tube this shade is really nice. It’s more of a soft pink when applied.

Very pretty.

I bought this as part of the MAC Holiday 2007 5 piece Plushglass collection.

As a product: Plumper my bum. Although it makes my lips tingle (as any good lip plumper should), I see no plumping effects. The vanilla-playdough scent is strong, which is a turnoff :( Good staying power though!

As a color: Plus Luxe is a very vibrant, cool-toned hot pink with a large dose of shimmer. Surprisingly does not clash with my NC20 skin and adds considerable pigment to my already semi-pigmented lips.

As a whole: The lack of plumping and strong scent sadly dissapoint, but the beautiful color is it's redeeming quality. Will finish current tube but not repurchase...would work better on cool-toned women.

Complementary colors: Brown eyeshadow (i.e. MAC mulch) and bright pink cheek (i.e. NARS desire or mata hari)

Plumping is not a term I'd use to describe the Plushglass range of glosses. I own more than a few which I find really ironic since I'm so critical of them. The beautiful look of them in the tubes suck me in. Of all the plushglasses I own I love this and Hot Stuff the most. Plus Luxe has the most pigment out of the ones I've tried and its really pretty cute. Its got a nice very sheer and hot pink tint that is very subtle on. The shimmer is gorgeous and the tingle is not painful at all. In fact its kind of a placebo effect; if it feels as if its plumping your lips, then you might detect a difference that's not there? Anyway, cute gloss, great over any pink lippie and a good sheer lip look for spring with some Fashion Frenzy on your cheeks!

I love this, I bought the gloss a week ago and I've already used up 1/3 of it. The color is very pretty and it stays on well.

I lovee Plushglasses most out of any of Mac's gloss. This + Bing0 are my fave colors.I love the sweet vanilla smell, just wish it was flavored.I don't think it plumps too much,I saw better results w/duwop's lip venom. It is a tad bit pricier than regular lipglass.I love this color though; Its like a shiny maraschino cherry color..very gorgeous.I have fair skin + green eyes, makes my whole face pop.Loves it!

I LOVE this stuff! I've never tried a plushglass before -- just the lipglass and lipgelee -- so I didn't know that it was "plumping". I can't say taht I think it actually plumps, but it smells and feels amazing. It's tingly without being irritating (and I have very sensitive lips) and really moisturizing. The color, which is quite bright and lovely in the tube, is really just nice and subtly brightening on the lips. The others who have said it brightens their complexion are right on. You can certainly tell that you're wearing gloss, but it doesn't jump out and scream that you are. It's just a really lovely pick-me-up color, and as with other MAC glosses I find lining unnecessary.

I love this color. Like others have said, when I saw it in the store I just couldn't help myself - I had to have it. I've been looking for a good bright pink gloss, but this isn't so bright - I still love it. Nice tingly sensation that I very much enjoy. Definetly makes my lips slightly larger (I took before and after pics). I didn't even know it was a plumper, I just loved the color.

Would recommend to anyone!

I totally agree with the reviewer who said this was brightening / brightens her face. It does. Its a sheer sparkly true hot pink. I like to pair it with Half Red lipliner (lots of blending required), its a pretty universal pink...nice for anyone who likes pink of any skin tone. I find the plumping part overly stingy and painful (thus why it gets a rating of 4 instead of 5) but I love this color so much its something I'm willing to deal with.

I love this lipgloss. It's a violent pink in the tube and goes on well. I pair it with Girl About Town for crazy pink lips. I took a lippie off because it's a "plumping formula". I have very pouty lips naturally and I can't tell if it worked or not. It tingled, which was interesting, but I couldn't tell any difference. It lasts for a little while, and is a little thicker than MACs other glosses. I seriously dislike the doe-foot applicator. It's a wonderful color though! I'm not sure if I'll re-purchase, since it's similar to Flashmode, but it's still a very nice product.

I ordered this color online after someone here made a recommendation. When I saw the shade in the tube, I became nervous because though I CAN where pinks (I'm a studio fix C7) certain bright pinks take me out of my comfort zone. Well, to my pleasant surprise, this color looks stunning on my pinkish brown pigmented lips. It is very sheer, yet the color shows up well. I love how the plushglasses formula lasts longer and keep my lips smooth all day. I think I will start my plushglass collection now.

I think i'm in love <3 So i bought this on a bit of a whim for 21$ CAD. The color is gorgeous with my mac nc20 skin. There just the right amount of shimmer. It has a sponge applicator. The gloss's actual texture is thick enough so that it stay put and not as sticky as some of MAC's other glosses (like lustreglass and tints).

If you put it on bare lips there is after about a minute a gentle, pleasant tingling sensation that lasts a while.

The color IS a bit shocking in the tube but pretty (and still rather pigmented) on.

Definitely something to try!

The MA recommended this lip color and I tried a few other colors but the other ones were too bright and blue based on me. Then I tried this one and the MA liked it AND my boyfriend really liked it too...so I bought it. It makes my lips look really nice and it has little pink shimmers on it. I will repurchase.

Plus Luxe is a beautiful watermelon-like color, with a slight iridescence. While I'm not sure that it actually does any plumping, it seems to add a three-dimensional effect when layered on top of lipstick colors. I've tried it with Ladybug and MAC Red, and the overall result is amazing.

THis is a very pretty gloss, i would give it a 4.5 if i could. Yes, it is neon pink in the tube, but it looks SO pretty on. Kinda reminds me of a louder shinier version of flashmode lustreglass. This is definitely more pink, almost too pink and one of the most pigmented plushglasses out there. It most defintiely gives me a full pout. Combined with wet wild and wonderful plushglass it actually looks really pretty on my nc42-44, c6, lsf 8 skin. i think this shade would actually work on a variety of skin tones and look hot at night.
