As noted, these are, well, sheer. (Hence the name?) I have the red one and it only gives the slightest blush tint to my lips. It is barely pigmented. However, the texture of this gloss is superior to many I have tried. It is dense, and relatively long lasting for a syrupy gloss such as this. The shine is amazing -- like clear vinyl. The taste is mild, and somewhat melon-like. (Jolly Ranchers?) The truly wonderful thing is that this gloss is completely non-sticky. It is also quite moisturizing and heals chapped lips.

I have this in Crystal Bronze. In the tube it looks like a GORGEOUS nude bronze shimmer gloss, but in reality it's pretty much clear with just a hint of shimmer. Theres no real pigmentation to this at all. If you're looking for a gloss with more color payoff then this is not it! But, if you're looking for a reasonably cheap ($5) lightly tinted shimmer gloss in an attractive tube then go for it. There's a faint scent to this, it actually smells kind of like aloe, or hand lotion. Not yucky, but different as far as lip gloss goes. One very nice thing about this is that it's very moisturizing and the gloss stays on for a very long time. I won't purchase the Crystal Sheers anymore because there isn't enough color payoff for me, but I will be trying the other Savvy glosses (at Sally Beauty Supply) as I've heard they're very nice for the money.
