I adore this scent! I am not good at describing notes but I can describe a feeling, and this fragrance gives me an instant "happy, calm, refreshed" feeling. I spray it on my wrist and every time I lift my hand I get such a lovely whiff of this gem. I find it very long lasting thankfully because it's one of those scents that you crave to keep smelling. It is a sleeper, you think it's gone but it's NOT, you can keep smelling it for hours. I cannot imagine this being offensive in anyway, Expensive but can you really put a price on happiness(yea I said it! haha)

FLB has that "Jo malone" fleeting top note that is just lovely - and smells great in the bottle or on my skin. The fragrance does change on me into a floral and is very wearable. I like it but can't give it 5 lippies because, for the price, it fades just so darn quickly. Great to get as a gift though.

I really, really love this fragrance. I didn't give it a 5 just because it doesn't last as long as it should for being as expensive as it is. Chanel is a classic example of a fragrance that is expensive but wears well and morphs with you throughout the day, especially Chanel Allure.
But moving on to the French Lime Blossom. It is such a light, floral and lovely scent. A very romantic, fresh and uncommon scent. I love wearing it on a warm, spring or summer day with a flirty skirt.

Where is the lime? Couldn't smell it at all, all I could smell was cheap air freshener. It's potent and long lasting though.

This is a very beautiful fragrance...it does not smell overpowering, but the longevity is amazing! It smells very fresh and clean...I could imagine many age groups wearing this one. It is appropriate for both young and old...youthful yet timeless. It is a very linear fragrance, so it won't change on you. Jo Malone is pricey, but worth it!

Jo Malone French Lime Blossom is one of those rare fragrances that transports me to vivid happy memories. It is the most "true" interpretation of a linden solifore I've come across. It's all the things that are the fragrance of lime blossoms; it's fresh, green, honey-sweet, innocent, and gentle. This cologne is beautiful to wear on its own, and for combining with any of my many Jo Malones. It's also lovely for spraying on bed linens. This is not a heady lime blossom, but a soft, quiet touch of beauty.

I love this scent so much. I can't decide if I like the orange blossom or the lime better. My last name is Maloney so, I love it even more ;) I had a bunch of samples I bought for under $20.00 and I lost them! So sad.

This started out great, floral, herbal, soapy - in a fine French milled soap kind of way. Then after less than 5 minutes it went very vegetal, and that just doesn't do it for me. Had high hopes for this one, but a definite scrubber for me.

This was my first Jo Malone fragrance that I ever got, a present from my sister. This was probably circa 2003, back when JM was still considered a 'niche' brand. FLB is a green floral but retains a freshness. You can definitely smell the linden personally I would have prefered more lime. However as the reviewer below said by adding Verbenas of provence (my all time favourite JM), it definietly adds more citrus zing and smells even better. Considering JM fragrances are colognes on me they last all day, which is saying a lot as very few scents last on my skin. I would definitely repurchase this.

French Lime Blossom is a scent that I didn't like at first. I don't like linden blossom and that is one of the notes. However, once that wears off a little, I love it! It smells clean, and is very long lasting which is not usually the case with Jo Malone scents, or, at least, not the ones I like. Thankfully, it doesn't smell powdery on my skin at all. It has a good bit of lily of the valley -- which I love -- and is perfect for year-round use. It's especially nice during the warmer months. It's definitely one of my favorites! I also like it blended with Verbenas of Provence for added lightness. Lovely!

This is a very clean smelling, elegant fragrance that I could imagine going perfectly with white linen. It's a true white blossom smelling fragrance, but on me it gets a little powdery and soapy smelling, which I'm not so fond of. I quite like powdery scents, but am not so much into soapy ones. Having said that, it currently has it's place in my fragrance wardrobe as a daytime, work wear and spring day fragrance, but it's not one that I will be purchasing again. For the price, I feel there are many better options out there.

I tend to prefer fresh, uncomplicated scents. This one was a little much even for me, though. I love the initial scent, an uplifting, fresh floral (I'm no good with perfume adjectives, but I think I'd describe this as both a green and white floral) with just the tiniest hint of powder. But I expected it to deepen a little and instead it turned into lime dish detergent on me. I'm not one to make over-simplified comments like that either--it just smelled so dead-on there is no other way to put it.
That having been said, I tried it with Wild Fig and Cassis, and together it smelled like what I expected French Lime Blossom to smell like on its own--fresh, but with enough depth to keep it interesting. I used samples, though, and at the full-size, this combo runs $110 to $200. I'm not really sure it's that great.
I would have kept experimenting with other layering combinations, but it started triggering headaches in me after a while. I liked this combo enough I might give the scented oil a try to see if that makes a difference though.

**Swoon** Love this. Figures it's so darned expensive. I only know real linden flowers as herbal tea, so I can't say how this compares to the fresh flowers. It manages to be soft and creamy without being flabby, clean without being soapy, sweet without being cloying, blissfully soothing without putting me to sleep. It smells delicious on my skin, hair, and clothes and wafts about wonderfully all day.

This perfume is a staple in my bathroom. I may try others, but I always keep a bottle of this on hand. The smell is clean and true, like most Jo Malone fragrances. There is nothing overpowering or cloying about this perfume. When I wear this people always ask me what I'm wearing.

I was disappointed with this scent. It reminded me of perfumes you once could get at the 5 and dime stores. You know, cheap. I much prefer Nectarine Blossom and Honey.

My comments here will be similar to that of my review for Vintage Gardenia. French Lime Blossom on its own is just above average imo, but when combined with a few other Jo Malone fragrances, they've drastically changed my opinion about it and now I love it! Some of the fragrance combining recommendations by Jo Malone are not suitable for this scent imo, so definitely experiment with it yourself and try to make your own signature scent cuz it really goes well with many other scents.
The price of Jo Malone fragrances is very affordable in the 100mL version (here I paid 118$CAD or 133$CAD with tax). You get a much better deal this way than with the 30mL version (~80$CAD).
Packaging: I think they can do better than to just put three stickers (front, back, bottom) on the glass bottles... Not to mention that one of my bottles (Honeysuckle and Jasmine) had a huge bubble entrapped in the front sticker and that the bottom bar-code sticker was peeling off. And for this reason, I will take off (at least) 1 lippie for all their fragrances.
However, I do love their signature cream-black boxes.

This has become my signature scent (for now!). I love the greeny floral and I get compliments when I wear it. However, I can't spend the money...so I wear dupes but I still love it!
