THIS PRODUCT IS MAKING MY LASHES FALL OUT LIKE MAD! It's been almost two weeks, at first it was just a couple falling out (usually when I take off my eye makeup). Last night 6 eyelashes fell out! I am going to stop using in a week if this problem keeps up.

The Look: Jan Marini Lash Conditioner produced noticeably LONGER lashes and slightly thicker. On the days I didn't wear mascara I couldn't really notice, but the days that I did wear mascara I was very pleased with the look. It definately enhanced the look of my lashes.

The Feel: When I applied this sometimes it would get into the corner of my eyes and REALLY sting. Also I had a bit of swelling aroung my lash line a redness. After a while the product didn't sting as much and was fine to use.

Application: I did not apply this every day due to the effect noted above, just sporadically and it STILL WORKED. It also lasted me about 10 months.

Me: I have thin, wimpy lashes. They are in average length.

All around I was very happy with this product, though I had the original formula (in silver tube) which has since been recalled in Australia. But it is a lash product that is definately a step above the rest (Ecrinal lash, Mavala, Ardell) & to me was worth the steep price tag.

Used this product about 3 years ago and it did take about 2-3 months for me to notice a difference. By the 5th month my eyelashes were beautifully long. I stopped using because I started growing some blond and gray eylashes also!!! When I dyed my lashes (blue/black), the dye would never fully take to the blond and gray and those lashes looked reddy/brown which did not suit my complexion and made my eyes look tired. I do miss the exceptional length my lashes had but at least now when my eyelashes are dyed blue/black, my eyes look really fresh.

Well ladies, this product has made me a believer in miracles. I used it a little bit last summer, maybe for only two weeks, and it didn't really do anything. I realize now that I didn't give it enough of a chance. After applying twice a day for about 2-3 mos (and I'm still on my first tube--you only need a little bit) I've gotten to the point where people are asking me if I'm wearing fake eyelashes. I'm not sure why, but it seems like the lashes in the outer corner of my lid have grown the most (they've literally doubled in length)...maybe because when I apply I start at the outer edge (you paint the product on like you would liquid liner) so those lashed get the biggest "hit" of the product. Bottom line is, it seems like this works for some people and doesn't for others, but if you really want longer and thicker lashes and it won't break the bank to buy it, then BUY IT and just be sure to use it faithfully and regularly and you will most likely have awesome lashes.

I am commenting on the reformulated product that does not contain prolastin, the glaucoma medication. The FDA forced this product off the shelf and Jan Marini has since re-launched the product. While the original product appears to have worked, this reform. does NOT! I have used it for 3 months and there is virtually no change to the length and thickness of my lashes. I have also tried Revitalash, so has my sister. Neither of us witnessed change with this product, either. Although my sister had no issues, I had a burning sensation with this product (I've read reviews elsewhere, and this appears to be a common complaint). I am so bummed, I really want to find a product that works. I just ordered MD Lash Factor, it contains a derivative of prolastin, so I'm thinking it may just work! I will write about this one in a month or so~

I had a lengthy review for this product which detailed my experiences: it took a long time to see any results (like 5 months), but eventually I did see a change which I promptly raved about. Long story short, that didn't last very long and now, even with persistent use, my eyelashes are the same length they were to begin with....I'm undecided.

Just like everyone says - this stuff really works. I bought a tube for $99 on Ebay. About six months ago. It is still going because I don't use it daily - maybe 3 x per week. Only on the top lashes. And on the outside edge of my eyebrows which were thinning (getting to that age now!!!). So now I have the eyelashes of bambi and the eyebrows of Madonna in the 1980s!
I use this stuff 3x a week, and dye my lashes dark brown with a home kit about once every six weeks. Hola! Hola! Just gorgeous. Don't bother with mascara at all except if getting really dolled up for a night out. And ocassionally curl my lashes.

The combination of this great stuff (expensive but worth it) and the tinting means i'm all done and gorgeous on the eyelash front before I even get out of bed in the mornings.

Rare to find something that works this well. Will re-purchase. I reckon one tube lasts about 9 months with careful use. And the eyelash tint kit (a professional version off Ebay) was $20 and will last *forever*. So that is about $130 a year for fantastic lashes. Cheap at the price!

Update: One year on and I have discoverd Lilash. The Lilash was defintely a superior product for me. Lashes VERY much thicker. So I am downgrading the Jan Marini to 4 stars and recommend you buy the Lilash instead.

I am a big fan of this product. Quite simply: it does what it says it does (if you follow the very clear directions). I am fair and 30 and have always had brutally short, stubby lashes. I have been using this for 3 months and I now have quite long lashes. Friends and colleagues have been complimenting me on my eye makeup (I don't wear any)! It hasn't made a tremendous difference in the thickness of the lashes -- but I don't believe that is their claim. My only hesitation is the price....but $300/year (little over a dollar a day) seems reasonable to me for a near-miraculous alteration! I am thinking about trying Talika just to compare...will keep y'all posted.

This review is about the old, discontinued version of the EyeLash Conditioner:
I absolutely love this product. I'm a redhead and my lashes used to be quite fair. I've been using the Eyelash Conditioner for almost a year now (with a few months break inbetween) and the difference is just breathtaking. I don't manage to use it every night, maybe 3 times a week. But still the results I get are tremendous. My lashes are black now, and they are much darker then my eyebrows. They're also longer, but I've always had long lashes anyways.

I saw this product on a local news. Since it is covered by a local broadcasting company, I though it is worth giving a try. bought this product twice. The first one lasted for about 6 months and While I thought I saw some positive results, I had to stop using since it started stinging my eyes as the time went by. Since the product instruction paper says I should finish it within 6 months, so I threw away the rest when it passed 6 months. I bought the second one and it's been about 4 months now but again, it started stinging my eyes again!

Well, I gave up on it and went to get Xtreme Lashes a week ago and I can't be happier! (Xtreme Lashes are lash extentions that last about several weeks. It is quick and you really get the result you want! They won't look fake at all on me!!)

Okay, so I splurged and bought this stuff, it is so expensive at $160, but it is supposed to last for 6 months. I got the "new" Marini Lash.
I have thick, black eyelashes that are short and sometimes fall out when my allergies get bad and I rub my eyes too much.
I had been trying really hard not to rub my eyes and they had been filling in on their own, but I wanted something that would help them grow and thought I would try this out.
Wow! I have been using it every night for about 3 weeks now. I didn't think anything was happening for the first 2 weeks, but now my eyelashes look longer than they ever have before, and they filled in much faster than normal.
I thought they were looking longer one morning and when I put on my usual mascara they looked amazing! I have been using the same mascara almost daily for a few years; Everlong by Dior - supposed to help your lashes grow, but can't say it does, I just like it (I wear dark brown because my lashes are already black and my coloring is very warm and golden, I like a soft look).
I can't give Marini Lash a full 5 stars because it can be a bit irritating when you put it on and it really is expensive, even for a 6 month supply. It just feels difficult to spend that kind of money in one pop. If they put the price tag at something like $80-85 it would still be really expensive but I think they would sell twice as much.
OVERALL: expensive but actually works for me, I am amazed at the results in just a few weeks. My lashes look beautiful! With a soft, natural mascara they are just how I wanted them to be. Very happy.

Although this product is no longer available.
Jan Marini has a new formula called Marini Lash which is a non prostaglandin formula containing custom blend peptides that will stimulate you own prostaglandins. I've been using the new formula for about 4 weeks, my lashes are longer than ever. I feel that the new one works faster for me. The old one took me over 12 weeks to see results.

I bought my thru a doctors office in San Luis Obispo.

This product was wonderful.
I have very short lashes to begin with, so short that at after after 4 mascaras and curling for 10 minutes, it was all in vain.
After using this product religiously for months, my eyelashes have grown a fair bit longer to the point where i dont even need to curl my eyelashes to get a pretty effect!
Now i just wake up a coat of missha primer, maybelline full and soft and/or tweezerman fast lash which is now optional!
I can curl to, if i can be bothered, but it doesnt make much of a difference.
This product has made me happier and i will continue to use it!
Update: I dont wear false eyelashes anymore!!!! Just 4 mascaras does the job :)!

I have been using this for 4months now, and am a proud owner of longer looking lashes! Previously I had short, sparse lashes. With this product, you get the odd few lashes that are alot longer than the rest, and get growth of lashes not on the lash line but a little higher up, I guess where you apply the serum. At this stage I can afford to not apply the product everyday, but am scared if I stop using this product I will be back to my crap short lashes. I've even started using them on my lower lashes, and see them getting slightly longer, but again at weird angles, not direcly on the lash line. I'm getting greedy, seeing as I've forgotten how short my 'old' lashes were, I just want lthem longer and longer!
I would recommend this product for those of you that feel you always have to rely on false lashes or lash extending mascaras, as I can actually go without! whereas before I coudn't. Simply with fat coatings of mascara, my lashes are just as good as falseys!
It is a lot of money to invest for this product, but I've been using it for a few months and still seems to have plenty left! I've probably saved money from not having to buy any false lashes! Its great applying most mascaras, cos they're all great when you got long lashes in the first place!
Mascara/false eyelash junkies, I advise you to get this NOW (or when u got the ££$$)! but remember patience is a virtue!

Negligle results making it not worth the price in my opinion. I bought this cuz it was recommended to strengthen my lashes when I first got my lash extensions on my top lashes. Technician said I could use it on bottom lashes and brows, too. I only have extensions on my top lashes. I figured using it on my brows and bottom lashes would be a good 'control' for this experiment since it might be hard to tell the effects on my top lashes with the extensions. I have not noticed any difference on my bottom lashes after using this product religiously for 9 months and staring in a 10x mag mirror. Thought I MIGHT have noticed a little better look to some sparce areas in my brows but it could be just the 'power of suggestion'. My tube is almost empty now and I won't repurchase. I will report again if I notice a change after I STOP using it.

I purchased this back in March & now in May am barely starting to see a little more eyelash growth. This formula takes a lot of patience & I almost gave up on it. It definitely is not an instant gratification product. I have used this faithfully since March (except for about 2 nights) & was a bit bothered that I spent so much money on a product that has yet to deliver fantastic results. This week is the first week I am noticing more eyelash growth & I am starting to feel a bit better now that I am seeing some results. The results still are not dramatic & I am hoping by June I will start to see something more. I will update then, as of now, I would not repurchase because the results have not been drastic enough to justify the price. I will update if this changes.

I heard about this product and like many others was sceptical. It's a lot of cash to waste. Then 7 weeks ago i bought it and i have to admit it works.
The most obvious sign is a little 'gap' of missing lashes on my left eye is now filled. I started noticing a little difference after a month i think, but am completely sold now.
This is going to be my one beauty must have.

i have an eyelash problem and it is my most fervant desire to have long thick beautiful eyelases. newhos when i first heard of this product i thought it was a miracle. The cons are that it is very expensive and i found i had a little irritation when i used it. sometimes i felt a little burning sensation where i applied it and my eyes would get watery. On the plus it did work. I have asian eyes and my lashes are naturally short and thin. before using jan marini, i could count all the lashes on one eye i had loss so many from curling them so much and putting so much mascara on. After i used this (and i never followed directions, i prolly put in on like 2-3 times a week when i remembered) my lashes had come back in full. In terms of growth i noticed prolly no more than 5 mm of growth (but its a lot really, noticeable on the eyes). It wasnt anythign dramatic like elizabeth taylor lashes but friends did notice and i had two strangers say sometime about my eyelashes which has NEVER happened before. I found the eyelashes on one eye were slightly longer than the other though. I also used this on my eyebrows as i could prolly count all the hairs on my eyebrow too from overplucking and my eyebrows have not seen growth in FOREVER but i found a lot of new grwoth had come in and now my eyebrows are not sparse anymore. all in all its a very good product, a little irritation and very expensive but it does work-it took about 2 mths to see a true difference. im trying lilash now because im still dreaming of those thick beautfiul lashes, ive been using it whenever i remember too for about 2 weeks now and already am noticing a difference, ill keep you posted for all you lash addicts like me!!!
