Wow! What an amazing eyeshadow! The color is THE most beautiful color of gold ever! It enhances my eye color, and the pigmentation is great. The packaging is so pretty and cute. I have no complaints at all except for the price. I won't be repurchasing for this reason. But if it was cheaper, I would definitely repurchase. :)

I like this color and this product a lot. I'm not necessarily saying HG love it, but if you want to try a very neutral but wearable "gold," this is a very good start. It's not that yellowbrick-road gold, but a light bronzy color with high gold shimmer (shimmer, not glitter). It's a perfect spring/summer color even though I just tried it now in the dead of winter. It is actually quite light on me and therefore doesn't define much on its own-- it merely gives a glimpse of color and shimmer that helps blue eyes pop. It looks good with a little blue liner and some mascara. I'm not sure how it would end up looking on darker toned skin but it might look great. I like Clinique's eye shadow formulas--smooth, rich, seem to last quite long even without a base (almost all shadows crease/fade on me). I also like the case it comes in and therefore think it is reasonable for the price.

I love this color, it is perfect for a shimmery bronzey look. It makes my blue eyes pop when I use it in combo with rum spice and daybreak.

With the name "Gold Rush" I was expecting a very yellow 'in your face sparkly' -well - gold! The name is deceiving as this eyeshadow is a shimmery old gold with bronze overtones. Yes it is an unremarkable colour but that's why I really like it because a lot of 'yellow' golds do not look good against my hazel eyes, but I love this. It is a great neutral which you can wear everyday which gives a beautiful wash of bronze shimmer. At night you can dress it up with with some eyeliner and a darker brown shadow to accentuate the crease of the eyes and it looks beautiful. In the summer with a tan and bronzing powder it looks very natural and takes on another hue. As with most colour surge shadows this doesn't crease and lasts for ages. The colour remains true and it doesn't irritate my sensitive, contact wearing eyes. It lasts for ages and is definately worth the money. This has become a staple in my make-up bag and I will definately repurchase!

A gold eyeshadow. A bit unremarkable really. Fine for the tanned, bronzed goddess look. Nowt special though.
