Used in combination with other volumizing products I've gotten sky-high hair with this. It works well into my hair, smells nice, and left my hair soft and silky. I liked it. I didn't love it, but I would probably purchase it again if I saw it.

One word Amazing its light weight and creates tons of volume. It is expensive because Sunsilk discontinued which really stinks but you can find great deals on the internet. It comes in a nice pump which is great for finding out how much you need to help preserve it.It also smells amazing which is to be expected from Sunsilk.

okay, i agree with what most of the others have said about what this product does, but for me it's not a bad thing. i'm a stay at home mom, so i don't get ready everyday, and i don't shower everyday. i like this because it's doesn't weigh my hair down, but does make it behave. my hair is soft and silky after use (just like it says on the bottle! -- no crunch!). overall, i like it and am not sorry for the $1.20 I paid for it at big lots. i said i would re-purchase, but the truth i wouldn't go searching for it. however, if i happen upon a cheap-o bottle again, i would definitely pick it up.

This left my hair very very soft and slippery and made it very difficult to hold a curl. I guess it would be ok if you didn't want to curl your hair after using this product or say if you wanted to straighten your hair, but if you have straight hair and want to curl it I would not recommend using this product. It smells nice and makes your hair feel nice, but I won't re-purchase due to the not holding a curl thing. I also did not notice any volumizing effect, just made my hair soft and slippery.

Excellent product but you absolutely HAVE to apply it to wet hair and BLOW DRY to achieve worthwhile results. Otherwise it will not volumize at all. The scent is a bit repelling and having your fingers all goopy with the pumped product isn't a great incentive to use, but it DOES work well. Works well also when set with hairspray.

Not a very good product...doesn't do anything for my hair (that I've noticed at least). I really don't like how it barely spreads over the hair. I like my styling products/leave-ins to have more slip to them. This doesn't seem very moisturizing at all. It has kind of a gross texture.

mehh.... it gave me some volume but not somthing i would brag about

When I head this product was being discontinued I practically ran back to the store. I used it with less expectations, however, after one use my hair was soft, managable and with a bounce. The formula does add a bit of boost, but the way it makes my hair so soft and silky I would buy it over and over. The smell is of fruit. If you have the chance try this product out before it is gone forever!!!

I purchased this at Safeway on clearance for $1.00, I suppose I should have taken the hint and spent the money on gum. I thought it volumized my hair while leaving it soft on the first use, unfortunately I have not had the same results since and I've been using it everyday. Oh well, I'm not that dissappointed due the cost.

meh. i ran out of my usual hair product, so i saw this at the dollar store and thought i'd give it a shot. well, it didn't do anything really. it's a nice light cream, and my hair is a bit flat at the roots and poofy everywhere else, so i thought it would even out my roots with the rest of my hair. well, it didn't. it smells really really sweet and suuper strong, it actually gave me both a stomachache and a headache! it didn't volumize, nor did it do anything for my frizzies, so i'm wondering if it really did anything at all to my hair...
i bought this at the dollar store, so it's not like i blew a ton of money for something that didn't work for me. oh well.

This product is okay, it's not great but it does add a bit of oomph to my hair but nothing spectacular. I am not upset that I bought this though (got it on clearance at Tom Thumb for $1.12) I would be disappointed if I had paid the full $4 for it though. There are many better things than this that are cheaper too. Suave volume mousse is much better.

This product was used in conjunction with the Anti-Flat shampoo, and it's result was okay. It gave my hair more volume than if I had used nothing, but the result was nothing to write home about. I guess that it was okay for $4.

All this did was make my straight fine hair static-y. I didn't care for the smell or the packaging.

I bought this at Big Lots and didn't expect much but was pleasantly surprised. When I first put it on my longish hair, I didn't notice much volume but as my hair dried (naturally) it added natural looking volume without the stiffness from other products like this. And the volume was still there the next day. The only drawback is that this appears to be a discontinued product (probably why it was at Big Lots).

Definitely doesn't do a thing for my hair. If anything it makes it feel heavy, no volume what-so-ever. I threw this away after a few uses, I am not sure if it is just MY hair which is long and thick but it made it so cruddy feeling and greasy. GROSS. This is definitely not a product for me!

My hair texture is "normal." I loved sunsilk mousse but this stuff doesn't work for my hair. It weighs down my hair and the texture of the creme is way too thick. It doesn't give me much volume at all.. it makes my hair look pretty oily. I wouldn't re-purchase this.

This is for the anti-flat volumizing creme that comes as a pump. I don't use this very often. When I do use it, it is not that effective. It doesn't seem to do much for my limp hair... I'm using it as an anti-frizz creme till I run out...

This review is for the root spray.
I find this to be a decent product for the price. I really do notice a difference when I use it, although maybe not too dramatic.
I haven't used this when I have air dried my hair, but I'm not sure it would do much volumizing then. I always spray it into damp roots then blowdry.
I've gone through about 5 bottles of this and I plan to continue using it.

I have fine hair but I have a TON of it, and it's naturally super straight, so as you can imagine, volume is hard to come by. After using the Sunsilk Anti-Flat Shampoo and conditioners and the Anti-Flat root-lifter cream or the mousse, I was hooked! I wouldn't recommend it for longer hair (I couldn't use it when my hair was past my bra strap), but for shoulder-length and shorter (I've currently got a shoulder-length swing bob) it's amazingly effective. It makes my hair shinier and more manageable, and even if I flat iron it after I've styled it, it still maintains a lot of oomph. I definitely recommend these products to anyone who has issues with volume!

I bought the Volumizing Spray and the Creme. Both are useless and thankfully, cheap $2.99 USD. The Creme comes in a pump bottle. Both smell nice. The spray applies too much product to your hair in one spot. The spray feels like a huge, cold rain droplet on your head and it doesn't blend well into your hair. I was left with oily blotches on my scalp. Horrid product. The Creme is just useless when applied as directed but I pump a tiny bit into my palm and lightly smooth it over my hair to control the random frizzies. Honestly, any lightweight cream, spray, etc. could do the same thing.
