Love this blue eyes red hair. Use the bright colour on lid and pinky brown in crease really lovely and great pigmentation and colours which can be subtle and light or dark and intense.

I bought this duo at about 2/3 off retail on eBay. Had I seen it at the NARS counter I would have passed it up, being afraid an orange-peachy shadow would make me look like I'd been crying or had pinkeye. How wrong I would have been. These two shades--a golden taupe and a peachy salmon--are magical on the eyes. They somehow look natural, subtle, and flattering in a way I never could have predicted. My hazel eye pop deep blue with Boho Gold salmon on the lid and taupe in the crease. This is for certain one of the best Nars duo for those with cool coloring. It is warm, but not garish, so makes a lovely contrast with blue, green, gray, or hazel eyes.

These are such good colours for an everyday look, however 1 lipstick off because I don't use the salmon/pink colour, it just doesn't work with my skin, it just makes my eyes look tired and blood shot.
The other colour - metallic nude/brown colour is perfect to use all over the lid to wake up your eyes without the need for anything else.
Blends well and easy to apply and very pigmented. I guess I'll have to find a way to use both colours!

First glance this color didn't look like it would go on me. I was wrong I apply it all the way to the center. Good summer look.

I bought this on a whim, not having seen it in real life (or having seen it, but not remembering!). The NARS website describes Bohemian Gold as 'metallic taupe and iridescent copper'. I agree on the taupe, but the right side is more of a salmon colour with dense, finely-milled rose specs (not even shimmer or glitter-sized) for iridescense. Both colours are very beautiful.
The texture is good. It's firm, not buttery soft like some shades or chalky and hard like others. My brushes have no trouble picking up the right amount of product. The pigmentation is good, too, but not bombastic. You need a few swipes to get the colour to show nicely. But that might be also because my lids are a little reddish, it might look different on a base (I don't own any bases yet to make that comparison). I love to wear the taupe shade on the lid, and the salmon in the crease and outer V.
I haven't tried too many variations yet because it is, paradoxically, becoming my 'to-go' duo, BUT I don't love it enough to use on the weekends or special occasions. I only have about 15 - 20 minutes in the morning to get dressed, wash myself and put my make-up on, and Bohemian Gold is just dead right for a quick, easy, and nice look that isn't too over-the-top.
Somehow the colours don't really 'move' me enough to give it a higher rating. They're pretty, yes, but it simply isn't love. Plus, the pigmentation could be better in my opinion. But, if you need something for an everyday look, I can wholeheartedly recommend this.

I am fair neutral-cool toned and I like to use the taupe shade as a single wash over the lids (with Nars Savage cream e/s as a base) and then use the orange/apricot shade as a blush and it's gorgeous! Nars int'l makeup artist RC Stephens says this is his favorite duo to use on celebrities. He often uses it on the cheeks and you can even mix the two colors together.

Absolutely gorgeous duo. Some are miss, this ones a hit. This duo looks fabulous with some bronzer. Great texture and pigmentation unlike some of the other duos. This makes for a great summery eye.

In term of texture its creamier than Kalahari but not as silky as Alhambra. Both shades of Bohemian Gold have delicate metallic sheen to it. The left is a warm medium brown that's nothing special but still versatile. The right side is the killer - so unique. It looks like orange in pictures but its NOT ORANGE AT ALL. Its a redish/pinkish peach with magenta relfects. Under the light you'll see the mysterious breathtaking magenta sheen to it. I really have not yet found a dupe for this shade from other brand. Overall a versatile daytime duo. I took one lip off because althrough its beautiful, its not a absolute must for me.

I'm a girl that doesn't like too much attention, esp on my make-up. At first sight I thought the copper color would be hard to handle (it's coppery red on my eyelids). But the SA showed me to use the copper color to fill the whole lid and then use the light brown color to fill the crease. It tones down the red a lot and you can still see a hint of golden copper color beneath the neutral brown. It's wearable during the daytime.
Texture is great, easy to blend and long-lasting. It doesn't crease even on hot summer days. I'd like the brown to be a bit darker though, then you wouldn't need another darker color for the crease.

Both sides of this duo are very smooth, pigmented and blendable. If you like unique neutrals, than look no further!! One side is a sort of cool (maybe?) champagne y golden taupe y color The other side a peachy pink shimmering salmon. Beautiful color combo that looks wonderful on warm skin tones.

Firstly - this duo isn't gold. Nor particularly bohemian. I don't see gold or hippies anywhere. Anyhow. Continuing on:
Bohemian Gold was released in Fall 2006, now part of the regular line. It retails for $32 for 0.14oz and is housed in the standard black rubbery NARS duo packaging.
The two shades are fairly neutral, certainly worksafe. There is a tauped champagne (just a hint of brown) and a coppery-pink-orange shade. Don't be turned off at orange! And if you didn't like MAC Pink Bronze pigment, I'd give this one a shot anyway - the orange tones are less evident and these shadows have the most divine texture! The taupey shade reminds me of the Kalahari duo - it's like that duo had little taupey babies and slipped one into this lovely duo - see below! :D Smooth, blendable and pigmented, the shadows themselves are like buttah :)
I really like these shadows, but I feel like I can't use it as a duo - I always wanna add a crease colour, or the champagne in a very neutral look, or the pink in a brighter one or something. They're lovely shadows, but I took a point off because I think duos should be able to (mostly) stand alone without the need for other shadows.
Price is fairly decent for high end - 4.2g for two shadows, roughly $15 apiece. Packaging is standard NARS, dust catches a bit but I think I'd complain more if it was all packaged in hard plastic! I would probably buy again if I ever ran out!
I am NC25 (Studio Fix), C3 (MAC Face & Body), 30 (Chanel), 2 (MUFE Face & Body, winter) & OC02 (Lunasol Intellectual Powder foundation, winter)

This is my absolute favorite NARS duo. It consists of a warm shimmery campagingeish taupe and medium warm corally orange with opalish iridescence (I just made up a few words :). I may be the minority but I love the taupe color. It is one of my favorite lid colors. It just flatters my skin so well. My favorite look is the taupe color on the lid with the orange in the crease and MAC Vanilla pigment on the inner corners. It just gives me an ethereal look, like I'm glowing from within. NARS shadows are hit or miss, but this duo is definitely a hit. The colors apply like silk and last all day with the proper e/s base (I like Urban Decay Primer Potion.) I'm a LLL yellow/olive with dark brown hair and eyes. I'm not sure if the colors would be so flattering on someone who is cool, but it is worth a shot. Definitely try this duo out the next time your at your NARS counter.

This duo is beautiful, but unfortunately just doesn't match my coloring and looks a bit strange on me (one of these days I'll accept my cool coloring and stop buying warm colors!). You get a shimmery beige, and a very unique bright copper-pink. Both have the great formula of most NARS shadows, and on someone with Scarlett Johansson's coloring it would look amazing. Oh well; I'll have to give some of NARS' cooler shadows a try.

This is only the 3rd NARS duo I've liked other than Habanera and Earth Angel. It is so beautiful. One of the few NARS duos you can actually use together. I put the coppery side over MAC Constructivist PP and I am just in love... I would definately repurchase.

I am not normally a big fan of neutrals, but in a professional setting they're necessary. During the work week, I constantly reach for this duo, and always get compliments on my eyeshadow. Like all other NARS shadows, these go on smooth and last all day. It looks perfect on my olive skin and I agree with others who say that it might not be suitable for cool-toned people.
It's my favorite duo that I own and I will definitely repurchase when I finish this!

I never am without this duo. It sits out all the time...My staples are Orgasm blush and Bohemian Gold,All About Eve, and India Song Duo. The peach and taupe look paricularly great on Asian or Pacific Islander or Latina skintones. Its soft and girly, and goes well with bronzed and chocolates and goldy browns.

I'm really loving this beautiful shimmery duo. You get a neutral golden taupe and a glowy pinkish copper color. It's definitely a warm duo and works to give my darker warm toned skin a very pretty & neutral day look. One of my favorite NARS duos.

Nothing special here. looks stunning in the pans but the colors are not really pigmented so i dont get much from this. You get a shimmery soft light brown with a taupey hint to it and a shimmery melon. The colors are light so i really have to pile it on to get it to show up on my NC30 light olive complexion. I feel like this needs an additional contour shade in a darker color. Big disappointment. At $31, i wouldnt repurchase this.

I like Nars eye shadows for pigmentation and feel. The packaging is a little tacky feeling, kind of like a rubber grip feeling. But the quality of the shadows is so great. This color combination is my favorite, I love the shades. (I am fair with reddish-brown hair) It really looks lovely on. This is my HG for eye shadows currently.
