Received this from my sister who said it was too shimmery on her. I will agree it is very shimmery, but I like a glowing kind of look. Ths color in the pan is beautiful. But when I appy it, I have to put on so many coats that I get more shimmer than color. However, I have found that when I use it over a bronzer, the effect is quite pretty. I started using it over my Milani bronzer, which is very matte. I use the bronzer below my cheek bone and Patchwork PInk on top of my cheekbones and also the apples of my cheeks. I gave it three stars because I am a drugstore makeup whore (DMW?) - I'd never myself spend so much money on makeup.

Very pretty pink shades, but a little too bright on me. I'm fair-medium, blue-green eyes, dark blonde hair. Sometimes the colors can be hard to blend onto the brush before applying. I think I bought it because it's just so pretty to look at- squares and squares of varying shades of pink. Will be giving to a friend...

I tried this on at the counter and just wanted to give my thoughts on this blush :) It's a very pretty rosey or raspberry pink! Some of you may not see this, but on me, the shimmer is a reddish pink which reminds me a lot of the shimmer in MAC's Petticoat MSF! So those of you looking for something reminiscent of Petticoat may really like this one! I opted for Patchwork Peach though, because it just suits my skin tone better and I was looking for a peach blush :) For those of you looking for a pretty pink blush, this one seems like it would be cool toned, but I'm NC25/30 and it was really pretty on! I think this is a great pick for those looking for a pretty pink blush! Would work in any season :) (BTW just FYI: I selected would not buy again only because I didn't actually buy it in the first place :)

Limited edition with the Fall 2006 collection, this pink blush comes in the same compacts as the other color surge blushes, silver mirror compact. Inside you get three shades of color, a soft pink, a rosey pink and a darker rose. The shimmer is super soft and doesnt settle into pores. Very subtle. I thought this may be too cool for me as some pinks can be but it wasnt. I am an nc30 light olive complexion and thought this was a great shade for me. Very pretty and would repurchase this.

I have only purchased Clinique's Shimmering Tones powders as blushes for years. I have some I have recieved as GWPs, but this is my first blush purchase. I LOVE it!!! A swipe or two over the pattern gives this blush-phobic gal perfect cheeks. The Shimmering Tones give me a glow, and this is a nice slight flush. Really accents my cheekbones and looks natural. This is definately not shimmery, but one of the shades in the pattern has enough shimmer to keep this from looking flat. This is a Fall 2006 LE offering, I'd jump on it!! They also have peach, which looks nice, but not for my coloring. (Light/Med w/ red undertones)

Oh this is sooo nice and so much fun to use! I had never used a product like this before so I wasnt sure how combining all those colors would look on me but oh my goodness...love it love it and love it! It is limited edition but I am hoping Clinique keeps it on their permanent line! The Rich Texture blush in Rich Pink is another option if this doesnt stay.

Beautiful new LE item from Clinique Fall 2006 collection. Similar to the bricks from their summer bronzer, except not as shimmery and in the regular blush compact. I get a great rosy-pink flush from this blush. I compare this color to Jane's tahiti bronzer, except with less frost. Can be worn year round, esp. with a tan.
