THis powder is amazing! It's only $3.99, which is super cheap, and it smells really nice. The powder itself doesn't have much color, but it works beautifully to eliminate shine throughout the day and sets foundation and concealer perfectly. Basically, there's no reason not to buy this!

love love love this! It sets my foundation really well without looking cakey or orangey. Without a good powder my foundation can look a bit orange but this powder sets it so well that this is not an issue.
pros:
cheap
works amazingly
has no smell
lasts for ages
cons:
packaging is flimsy and the lid comes of quite easily in my makeup bag

I think I may buy this over the Maybelline Matte Powder.
It's a cheap, light weight, not cake powder and goes on and lasts for a long time. A lot longer than I recall of the Maybelline Matte Powder and it doesn't overwhelm your face with color. Highly recommend you girls & guys to try it!

Though I think most of the shades of this powder are nearly the same, this powder is the bee's knees! It's the ONLY thing that keeps my foundation on for HOURS. Even with the new shades they have added, this powder is in need a way better color range. It's easy to come by and pretty cheap. I hate not being able to throw it in my bag though. The packaging is pretty lame.

I generally love all Rimmel products... but not this time.
Cons:
- settles into my fine lines, especially my under eye area
- first time I used this, my face was itchy and turned into a rash
- scented product.. some people might be allergic
- the packaging is terrible quality..doesnt even close?
Would not recommend this product.

I love this powder. The shade is a perfect match for me and it keeps me oil-free all day. This is one of the best drugstore powders I have found and it is very inexpensive. I paid only $3.99 for this. My only complaint is the packaging. It is somewhat cheap and the lid can be easily knocked off. My sister once dropped hers and it fell apart. Will definately be purchasing again!

I bought this powder because I I had left the one I usually use at home when I was on a week long trip. Besides the cheap packaging (I DO NOT recommend putting this in your purse/bag/whatever) It does give a matte finish. I'll give it that. Also, the amount of product is quite generous. The powder didn't make me break out but makeup hardly does that to me so it wasn't even a concern. I just hated that the powder really clung to the dry flecks that tend to form on my face. It made them more noticeable and the powder lasted longer on the dry parts on my faces while fading on the rest. Not a cute look. Considering its cost and how I only needed it for a week it wasn't a big loss. I just wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Another con was that this powder could not keep the shine and oil at bay for long and reapplying it often is guaranteed to make it obvious you're wearing face powder.

I actually have the 003 Natural shade, but this powder is amazing! Doesn't make my skin cakey or dry, it just finishes the face nicely. I regard it more of a translucent powder since there isn't much coverage, and I use it more to set the liquid foundation. Will def repurchase.

I have been buying this for years. It is the one staple that I never stray from. I wear it over my BB creams, or foundation, or all by itself for just a little bit of light coverage/shine control. I only have to buy it maybe once a year since a little goes a very long way. It doesn't make my foundation look cakey or give that weird powdery shadow that some other pressed powders do. It doesn't make my face feel or look dried out or flakey. You cannot beat it for the price.

I bought this powder because I just wanted a good powder that would absorb oil and take away some shine. And this powder was so cheap I had to try it. It cost about 3-4 dollars at target. I have the color sandstorm which is a little light for me and the color selection isn't the best. The staying power of this powder is about 4-5 hours max. It does take away shine and absorb oil but you have to re-apply the powder throughout the day. And it can get cakey if you put a lot on. When this product is on my face it feels like I have powder on my face which I don't like, and it doesn't let your skin breath. The coverage is light to medium and I do like this product for the how cheap it is and the amount of product I'm getting but I won't be repurchasing this item because I feel like there could be a better powder out there even if it cost a couple dollars more.

I only use this to powder my t-zone and it works well for me when I lightly apply it. I just don't like that it has frangrance and I have very sensitive skin. But so far, using it sparingly, it's worked out fine. No breakouts. The packaging stinks....

I wanted to like this. First off, I hate the packaging. It just screams cheap to me. The top falls off constantly. It's fine laying in a storage that won't be moving all the time but I would not recommend storing this in a makeup bag in a purse that will be moving all day. I can see that ending in a disaster. It made my skin look cakey, but then again it could be the wrong color. I'm a NC20 in MAC and this did not sit well over my Skin79 Gold BB Cream. I didn't experience breakouts though, so I guess thats a plus.

I love this powder, keeps my skin oil free and non shiny all day! Barely any touch ups through the day. I do use this over revlon colour stay for combo/oily skin so that may contribute to its overall awesomeness. The packaging is less to b desired but it's a cheap product and you get more product I find without the fancy packaging. I just but powder applicator at Walmart. You can even buy a pack at the dollar store. Some might perfer applying with a brush however the powder applicator works best for me. Also I find when your nearing the end of the container the product doesn't crumble like many others. So you get your money's worth all the way to the end. I do find if you have to touch up more then a couple times in a day you do start to get that powdery makeup look.

This powder keeps my shine at bay and I can reapply it throughout the day without worrying that it will look too powdery. I apply over foundation and concealer and it helps it stay on all day. I use it for quick touchups to absorb oil and shine. I use bronzer and blush over this and it helps them to go on smoothly too. Love this.

I have bought this product twice before in the shade Silky Beige and I have to say, I'm in love. When paired with a creme or liquid foundation, it really sets your makeup well and provides shine-free coverage. The feeling it gives by itself is equally nice and light. It's my go-to on mornings when I'm running low on time. The only thing that would make this product better would be including an applicator with it, having to use a brush all of the time makes it difficult to use it on the go. Overall, I love this product and the price and quality makes it a powder I will definitely use in the future as well.

I wear this over EL Double wear. Sets my makeup perfectly and I do stay matte. Don't have to take it with me for touchups, doesn't look cakey. Great powder! Wish the packaging was better though.

I guess I am the exception. Being a beauty junkie and worked in beauty industry before, I am suprise how great this press powder is. I think for those who doesn't like this powder is because they don't know how to use it.
First, it is a setting powder and never expect coverage from a setting powder. That means you need to use liquid foundation underneath. It doesn't provide any coverage, so for those need coverage, need liquid foudation and concealer.
Second, it is an extremely inexpensive powder, therefore, don't expect nice packaging. I am ok with cheap packaging because I only use this as a setting powder at home and take a fancy powder case to show off when I am out with my friends.
Third: use brush instead of sponge. This powder is able to cover my pores super well. you need to pat the power on your pores with a brush. Also, need to wait until your foundation dry before patting on the powder, unless, looks blochy.
Result: this powder gives me long lasting matt finish and make my skin look polished and perfect like angel face. You need to master your skills. Definitely HG.
Edit: could be too dry during winter time, so winter time, can go back to MAC mineralize press powder or Chanel loose powder

I must say, I really do regret on buying this powder. It made my face super cakey and I just looked like as if I wore a mask of some sort. Packaging is awful and inconvenient. Comes in several shades. Very affordable. But no, I would no repurchase. I had been on the hunt for a powder that is a cheaper alternative to my Chanel Vitalumiere Eclat. Although I know it would be almost impossible to find a drugstore powder that can even be compared to that, I just wanted a powder that would work, not cake up my face and feel very light!

I use this every day. While it doesn't keep my skin from becoming oily (I work in fast food), it does give a nice finish to my makeup on days where I'm not working. I started using this because I had heard really good reviews about it, and and I don't care to test out a million different powders. Before this, I used to use NYC loose powder but that was too messy, so I decided to switch to compact form. It works for me, and the only reason I'd buy something else is if I found something even cheaper. I don't think powder is worth splurging on, as they all kind of work the same way for me.
