I WISH I could buy this product again! I have just been notified by EL that it is discontinued. I searched for SO very long to find an SPF 30 product that worked well under makeup, and this was just about my HG. I've used it for years and years, and just found out while trying to place an order that it has been unceremoniously dumped by EL. They now have NO daytime moisturizer with SPF over 15.

Very pleased with this! The price is high, but its been difficult finding a moisturizer with spf 30 that doesn't make me greasy or break me out. Biore makes a great one, but I needed more oil control. This is great- a thick cream that seems like it would be greasy, but absorbs in seconds. It controls oil impressively, looks smooth and is a perfect makeup base. The small squeezy bottle is easy to travel with and the light scent fades quickly. Like zoomusicgrrrl, I use this as a moisturizer alone and it works well. No breakouts yet. Yes, its pricey, but its very hard to find such a good moisturizer with that spf. Its unfortunately not available in Canada, so pick it up in your travels, northern members-hopefully I can stock up at Duty Free!
UPDATE: No breakouts! My skin actually looks better since using this. Odd, since there are so many ingredients and my skin is extremely sensitive. Very happy- the price hurts, but I will definitely repurchase. If yours breaks out with Shiseido, Neutrogena, Vichy, etc, give this a try.

I'm pleased with the lightweight, non-greasy texture of this. At last a day cream with a decent spf rating that truly works as a makeup base. I've never found a non-greasy day cream with a rating above factor 15 before this. The lotion is semi-matte and anchors foundation well, even on my prone-to-oiliness T-zone. I tend to use it instead of a moisturiser, although the packaging says that it should be applied on top. I don't know if a separate moisturiser is really necessary or whether that's just EL trying to flog us extra products;) (Well, the EL website actually describes the lotion's "advanced dual moisture system to keep skin feeling moist and healthy", so surely nothing but dry skin is going to need a separate layer of moisturiser.)
A very good choice for those with normal/combo/oily skin. (But I wouldn't say no to trying a less expensive dupe, if anyone can suggest one!)
UPDATE: How annoying that yet another great product has been disco'ed! I suppose I'll be trying EL's Bronze Goddess lotion (with SPF 30) next - which EL claims to deliver broad-spectrum UVA/UVB protection.

Now i remember why I used this moisturizer for years because it's just great! I strayed because I was trying to save money on skincare and after a while I realize my combo skin started to get really greasy and oily with cheaper drugstore moisturizers. Not only that , my foundation doesn't stay put and I thought my foundation was the fault.

Anyway, I paid $39.50 for 1.7 oz. bottle and I think it should last me at least a month or so because I only use this lotion during the day. I love the spf 30 and the scent of this lotion. it's not greasy and doesn't leave a white cast on my face. I love how my skin feels after I put this on. One application lasts the whole day. You know how sometimes you feel a little dry after a few hours with cheaper moisturizers. I love everything about this moisturizer. I should have stayed with this all along. Its HG moisturizer for me.

Ohhhhh how I love this moisturiser! Most moisturisers clog my skin, break me out in acne or rashes or just make me look oily. Yet my skin is combination and needs some sort of moisture to stop it feeling tight and dry. I used to use just a plain, cheap, hospital lotion then put sunscreen over the top. That was until I got a free sample of this! It smells so refreshing and has such a smooth texture without being heavy. I like the SPF factor too. I really feel it makes such a difference to my skin, it looks brighter and makeup applies smoother. I even think it helps to heal any existing blemishes. My boyfriend's mum picked up a bottle for me on her recent holiday to the US, and I haven't looked back. It's pretty expensive, but I can't imagine not having it around. Thankfully a little goes a long way for me. I don't want to think about repurchasing because of the expense, but until then I will continue to look forward to using this every morning.

I asked my estee lauder lady for a tinted moisturizer, and she gave me this. It really does have a tint after applied. Clears up a little discoloration and is great for my normal/dry skin.

I am disappointed with this. It is not moisturizing enough and my face burns a little bit for a few minutes after I put it on. As sunscreen, it blends in beautifully, but it does not do well as a moisturizer.

This moisturizer is really good. I have the one for oily skin and it works great for me. I usually break out with moisturizers. I got a sample in a GWP and i fell in love. I went and bought the full size ( they got me!!! ) This is really moisturizing but not greasy. After it soaks in it literally looks like you applied a layer of some kind of youth cream. Im not sure if its the antioxidants or the formula. Give this a try and see. This makes my skin looks so pretty that it encourages me to go out without makeup. I get compliments on how good my skin looks when I wear this... and that NEVER happens.

This is the best moisturiser with SPF 30 I've found, and I've tried a lot. It moisturises my normal skin perfectly without leaving a trace of a white cast or that awful greasy feeling so many moisturisers with sunscreen can have. In regards to the UVA protection concerns, Paula Begoun's review of this says it has sufficient UVA and UVB protection. And the fact that I'm able to buy it in Australia is a pretty good indicator of whether it's broad spectrum or not, our sunscreen standards are the highest in the world, so if it says it's SPF 30, by law it has to protect you to that degree from both UVA and UVB rays. Plus it's loaded with antioxidants :) Best daytime moisturiser ever!

I thought this lotion worked very well! It did not make my face break out and I did its job as far as sun protection and being a good moisturizer. I have fair skin and I am prone to sun burns, so a high SPF face lotion is very important to my skin routine. I asked a woman working at EL about SPF protection and it has both UVA/UVB protection. I cannot live without this product! I love it! And a little will go a long way, so it will last you forever!! Also, for EL this product is a very reasonable price.

Luckily i got this as a free sample. texture is very whipped and creamy, however i think because its spf 30, it left my face a little oily. also, it smells TERRIBLE! smells like Nair or Veet!

really wanted to like this product!! the texture, scent and ingredients are great..... but either the anti-oxidants or the high level of SPF irritated the CRAP out of my skin.

I like the scent of this moisturizer, but I don't like that it didn't moisturize my skin as well as I thought it would and it didn't really protect my skin from the sun.

BEWARE for those of you who are worried about UVA protection! Although this moisturizer does have good solid UVB protection, it does not have stable UVA protection. I think that misses the whole point since one of the main reasons why I wear sunblock is to slow down the aging process with a solid UVA protection. Although I really love so many things about this moisturizer from the light scent to the ease of application, I was very disheartened once I learned of the lack of solid UVA protection (even with the zinc oxide). I guess I should've been warned when this moisturizer did not tout broad spectrum protection like many others do when they have solid UVA protection. Oh well. I am currently trying Shishiedo but want to hold off on a review until I've used it for a few weeks.

The SA said this wasn't a moisturizer, just a "base", so I said, "you mean like a primer?", she said, "no, a base". Whatever. I bought it anyway, wanting an SPF 30 with Zinc Oxide. Fab! Doesn't make me break out and calms down the red! And to the witless SA: it is moisturizing enough to use as a moisturizer (I put Verity Calming Fluid on first). This is my HG morning routine I think.

So far, I love this moisturizer especially due to the antioxidant properties as well as the SPF 30 factor. I'm 20 and I read that preventing premature aging is crucial for skin care (like antioxidants and SPF). The moisturizer isn't too greasy. One time I put on a little too much and it was a bit greasy. However, one little pump goes a long way. I have only been using this for a few weeks but I love the way my skin feels throughout the day with this product on.

This is my first Estee lauder product and so far it's been great! (Saw this in the Allure Hall of Fame and decided to try it). I haven't had any breakouts! I think it's great that it supplies anti-oxidant and UV protection. As for the moisturizing part, it seemed a little dry for me to use alone, but on top of my Clarin Double Sérum Génération 6, it's does good for my skin so far!

Estee Lauder Daywear Plus Multi Protection Anti-Oxidant Creme SPF 15.
Love this product! Smells great- a pick-me-upper- and price is reasonable for me. THE CONTAINER: new package in a jar. Does not leave my skin oily throughout the day. (Would not recomend for dry skin types.) The normal/combination skin creme is just perfect for this exact skin type. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Other product used: Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizer, Lancome HydraZen, Wei East White Lotus Moisturizer... by far, Estee Lauder is the most impressive to me.

It's the closet thing to HG I've found for winter time. Having acne prone skin that behaves like oily yet feels parched in the winter makes it nearly impossible for me to find anything that can help ALL those conditions :) I can't wear this after the weather turns warm (way too slick). Love the smell despite the fact it may be a problem for ultra sensitive folks. It doesn't seem to break me out. The biggest problem is delivery - the bottle is hard to squeeze and the product is pretty thick but I just turn it upside down and bang the bejesus out of it when it starts to get low. Have bought all the Day Wear products at one time or another and this is the best one IMHO.
