Ahh I remember these from when I was a kid.
Anyways this smells like fruit roll ups! Lol I love the scent but found it didn't hydrate all that much. Oh well I got 3 for 12$ anyways (satsuma, watermelon) so I got a good deal.

The smell is awesome and it doesn't feel sticky either. I've been using this range of lip balms for the last 7 years, that pretty much sums up how much I love them!

I love everything about it except that pot lip glosses/balms are unsanitary.

I completely take back my last review. I had a HORRID allergic reaction to this lip balm. It started with the corners of my mouth going dry and then one day I woke up and my skin was red, flaky, blotchy, and just utterly disgusting. I stopped using the lip balm immediately as it was the only thing that has changed in my routine and over the past week my skin has slowly been getting better.

THIS PRODUCT ISNT AMAZING BUT ITS A CLOSE DUPE TO MAC'S TENDERTONES! i just picked up a tendertone yesterday and i already had this born lippy balm for ages. so i compared them and i think i found a dupe! mac ones are better but theyre close enough for me! they have almost the same consistency in the pot, on the lips, i like the tendertones better. the body shop balms feel thinner compared to the mac balms. these retail for around 7.50 and the mac ones retail for 18 dollars canadian
. the mac ones have SPF in them and these dont but these come in different scents. the tendertones provide more moisturazation but i htink theyre close enough for the idea of a moisturizing gloss in a pot! (:

Well I think it is really good! I really love it :D
It smells really heavnily and stays for pretty long time. And also it doesn't irritate my lips (while some products do), so its perfect for me.
Price can be little expensive, but I think it is worth it.
And I love packaging, very easy and fits in your purse.

I definitly would buy this product again! :)

This is a lovely little lip balm, one of my favorites! This particular one gives a very nice tint of color to the lips, and tastes absolutely wonderful! I love having this in my purse, in case I want a nice glossy color to the lips, while still moisturizing them!

Meh product. Smells yummy, I have no problem with artificially sickeningly sweet things cuz its like candy to me. But I own a lot of these type of things and this one just didn't really stand out. The smell is about as exciting as it gets. This stuff is super expensive where I live $10! I think thats like... USD$8... crazy stuff. I could get a $3 lip balm/gloss from the super market that does the same deal so not too worth the price. Body shop, I love you products but this one was just a snooze!

I cannot get enough of this product. It smells good and has the perfect consistency to give your lips a natural/moist shine. Out of all the flavours I think this colour gives the best coral/just bitten look (I used to bite my lips a LOT just to get a nice natural colour). The only thing is the packaging, I have a thing about lip pots, just cause Im not sure where my fingers have been during the day, but even if you fingers get a bit extra, just rub the rest into your palm/wrist and you've got a quick moisturising purfume. Everyone should try it at least once, honestly. It lasts long enough that I don't remember how much it cost me, I'll found out soon though, cause I'm down and scraping the bottom!

I like this product but this to me is a meh product, I find myself reapplying this quite very often throughout the day, I don't think it really has improved the condition of my lips but it's cheap and cheerful so I'm not that bummed. Would I buy this product again? - well maybe if my lips are in tip top condition and I don't need a heavy duty lip balm then this will do the trick. It also has somewhat of a synthetic smell to it, this may not be appealing to all because it smells cheap haha, but its inexpensive soo yeah :)

I got this as a GWP. I enjoy the fragrance at first but I wish it wasn't so cloying. It smells sweet and as others have mentioned, very artificial. It did an OK job at moisturizing. Nothing special. I am also not a fan of lip balms in tubs so I only use this at night (more sanitary because I can make sure my hands are really clean before I dip my finger in).

That said, I would not pay full price for this.

Apr 11/11 update - The scent is too nauseating for me to use at night. I'll be using this up as a foot moisturizer.

I generally like lip balms and glosses in tins and suchlike packaging. I also love The Body Shop in general. However this particular product didn't really win my heart, unfortunately. First of all the smell is too artificial to my liking and being such it is too strong too, which is irritating. Honestly, I would probably describe this smell as cheap :-(
Secondly, its moisturizing qualities are o'k, but there are better lip balms out there, and more reasonably priced at that. And thirdly - yes, it is too expensive for what it is.

i love these lip glosses! this scent smells very nice and has a really pretty pink tint. These glosses arent sticky (which i loveeee)
and stay on for a while. the packaging is decent, and they'll easily fit in any purse. These are on the expensive side, but i think its worth it if you use the whole thing and you like the flavour and scent.

I bought this in Calcutta, where the price converted to around $3 a pot, which isn't bad, but for the quality and amount I would have preferred to pay a little less. It smells amazing, and it's glossy, but that doesn't make up for the fact that it's really not all that moisturizing. It works in a pinch, but I'd rather use Vaseline for healing and moisturizing my lips.

I love the smell and taste! It's a great day time lip balm, as it is quite glossy and adds a little bit of colour. It also has a nice, smooth texture. I will buy this again, although I prefer Lip Smackers.

Born Lippy in Raspberry is dark pink in color and a very nice MLBB shade.

The Body Shop claims it is: Best if you want to: Travel anywhere with a little pot of moisturizing lip balm in a tempting fruit flavor that leaves your lips soft, smooth and shiny.

You can travel everywhere with it. It's only 0.3 oz. But I didn't like it sticking out in my pocket. Plus, 0.3 oz is a really small amount.

The flavor is okay but nothing Lip Smackers can't top.

It did make my lips shiny but it hardly did anything to moisturize.

Pros:
It looks very pretty on my lips
It smells good.

Cons:
Expensive. ($8 a jar)
Doesn't moisturize

Bottom Line: This is more like a gloss. I would layer this over tube lip balm. The packaging is awful, I hate dipping my fingers into the pot. I was disappointed with this product. It didn't live upto my expectations. You can purchase it online or at any Body Shop, But don't waste your money, there are cheaper and more effective alternatives.

I don't mind this lip gloss. The smell is delicious, but there is no taste. It wasn't too sticky if I only put a little bit on. The little tub has lasted me three years... maybe I should throw this out! The color is a really pretty, darker pink that looks natural.
