Very very oily. I have very dry skin but can't tolerate this oiliness. It's like hardened oil which is very hard to remove once applied. The scrub is secondary to the grease. The smell is nice though. But I will not purchase this again because this doesn't function as a real scrub.

I agree with everyone else that this scrub is rather oily, but sometimes thats a good thing! ie-in the winter with dry skin. i really enjoy the texture of this particular scrub, but would suggest trying the passion fruit if you are looking for a really amazing smell.

very oily and still remains despite washing off twice with soap.
very bad choice to purchase it. I thought the smell was alright, the scrub is really disappointing

This scrub is too oily. It's scrubby but it leaves a flim of oil on my legs which I dislike. I can smell it and feel it when I move around in bed, even after I wash it off with a body wash.
Sorry Body Shop, the only redeeming factor is the scent. And even that is rather insignificant. Downgraded furthur to 1 lippie. I'll be using this on my feet only and I definitely won't be repurchasing.

More like a scrub wannabe than a real scrub. The scrubby parts of it are gone almost immediately leaving your skin with a thin oily layer which is ok for a dry skin in winter; in summer, however, you just want to use a “real” scrub afterwards to get that oil off. Smells nice, but it’s not enough to make me repurchase.

Excellent scent, though it won't linger on your skin. The texture of the scrub leaves much to be desired. The scrub seems to dissolve away soon after you apply it to your skin, though you can prevent this somewhat by using on damp, not wet skin. I don't find the grittiness of the scrub to be sufficient, though I do like the moisturizing film of oil it leaves on the skin, though I can imagine that many would not like this. I would not buy this scrub again.

I really liked the Papaya Body Scrub but wanted to try new scents. Always liked anything almond-based so got the new Body Shop Almond scrub. It smelt lovely in the tub and I couldn't wait to try it. The consistency is unlike the Papaya scrub which was creamy in texture. The Almond scrub was more oil or gel-based. This made it harder to apply and it clumped up easily when I smoothed it over my body. I had to be careful that flakes of the scrub didn't fall all over the bathroom floor. My skin felt smooth and smelt nice after rinsing off but there was a film left on my skin that took abit more effort to rinse off but this not a big problem. However I have to admit I prefer cream-based scrubs as they go on smoothly and easily, and washes off nicely as well. But I wouldn't write this off just yet. Not until I find a better almond-scented body scrub.
