I really like how easy this lip brush is to use. The other one I had from Sonia Kashuk was awkward to open and close.

I cannot recommend this brush. It fell apart in to many pieces after only a month of use. Not worth the money, obviously. An inferior product.

Definitely a case of you get what you pay for. Was a good, basic lip brush until it broke completely in half while retracting it. I'd only had it two weeks! Was also a PITA cleaning. Going back to Sephora and will save up for a better quality brush from MAC or Chanel.

I bought this on impulse because I already have one by The Body Shop and it's OK but I wanted another one to have around. I must admit I really like the single piece design, no keeping up with the top or dropping it on the bus/subway/car LOL! Anyway, I don't use it often as I wear a lot of glosses but for those glosses in tins (CARGO) or pots or that occassional use of lipstick it's worked great! Not too narrrow and not a paint brush. No problems with shed either. I don't "wash" it per se, I dont want water to get trapped in the casing, but I use a baby wipe to keep it clean. I would buy it again if I gets lost or something.

I keep one of these in my purse and one at my makeup desk at all times. The retractable brush is so convenient, and the mechanism never gets jammed. Just a smooth, sleek container to hide your lip gloss brush! So great!

This happens to be the best brush i've ever purchased!
I have one for everything(not just lips mind you!)
So go get one and try it! It's a must have in any makeup bag!

Super practical brush to carry around in your purse. I actually own two: one I carry in my purse, the other one in my makeup case. Both work fine and do a good job at applying my glosses and lipsticks (I'm not too picky about the quality of my lip brushes, cause I mostly wear neutral/nude colors, preferrably glosses, so after applying the product, I smack my lips and the product is then evenly distributed on my lips).
I haven't had any problems with this brush retracting while applying my lip product or bristle shedding.
I love the retractable mechanism and how hygenic using a lip brush can be thanks to this genius!

I have a new tip/trick. I love lipstick brush and never ever use them. Remember those reeses peanut butter cup commercials where the peanut butter would accidently bump into the chocolate and voila- a masterpiece? Well, I bought the gorgeous little smashbox smudge pots in 2 colors. I couldnt find a brush to work with it. I am holding my smudgepot in one had and searching for a good brush when my fingers wrap around my sephora retractable lip brush. I decided to give it a shot, and PERFECTION. This lipstick brush is perfect for a thin precise eyeliner application. The brush is firm enough that it doesnt "scare" as my art teacher used to say. It stays in shape and I line away. Ahhh, true love.

This sheds on my lips and has since the very first time I used it. Horrible quality. Nothing's grosser than lipbrush hairs in your lipgloss.

I received this in a swap and it'll come in handy when I have to dig the last of my VGV lipstick out of the tube. The packaging is sleek black metal and is slim so it won't take up too much space. So far it's been ok - I notice that sometimes when I'm brushing l/s on my lips, the brush will slip back into the cover, which is annoying but not anything too terrible. I don't think I'd actually buy this when the time comes for a new lip brush - I'm eyeing the retractable brush from Mac!

All I have to say is that this brush was a waste of my money big time. I thought I was getting a good brush, seeing how it was SEPHORA, boy was I wrong. I washed it once, and the brush fell out! I bought a retractable lip brush similar to this one from MEETMARK, and after washing it, it still works great. It was much cheaper and works fine. I wish I could return it, what kind of cheap mechanism is this! I stuck the brush in, and tried to use it, but the brush went in so far that the product ended up all around the tip and none at the brush. I can't use this anymore. I've tried other sephora products, and I must say, I'm not a HUGE fan.

This is my first lipbrush, but so far I love it--it's cute and tiny so it's easy to carry around, I love that it's retractable, the bristles are perfect so far--and what a difference in application as compared with a regular lip wand! I'd say it's a great deal at only $8 which only a little more than you'd pay for a drug store brand.

I really like this brush, but It broke the first one I had. I was a good thing I broke it when I was still at the mall because I returned it. The brisles on the brush are really soft and brushed on my gloss evenly. I also like that its retractable because my other lip bushes got all gunk on them from being on my bag. Over all good lip brush.

i love this brush. of course, i have nothing to compare it to as this is my 1st lip brush, but i've washed it lots and never shedded on me. it's also very soft and i love how it's retractable and stays that way until i take it out myself. i had a fit when i lost it. i went to go buy another one right away.

I love this little lip brush. I have had no problems with it breaking on me. It's nice and small so it doesn't take up room in my makeup bag. It stays unretracted until I pull it out myself - so no problems there either. I use it to apply my lipglosses. I will probably buy another one for backup.

I bought it, it broke immediately, and I'm sending it back. Too bad, 'cause it is cute and is a great idea. Just a sucky mechanism in there.

This is a fantastic, little brush! The retractable design is much more convenient than a separate cap - no worry about losing the lid, and the bristles still stay clean. Very reasonably priced too!
