These colors look pretty good on me. It is okay for day and night. It is not too dramatic. It is not too light. The shadow pans chipped a little. When I run out of this, hope I can find it again somewhere, even if I have to go online and pay for shipping.

Eye shadows from elf may be the only thing I like from them. These colors are smooth as my mac ones and are just as pigmented if not more. These colors are so pretty and I love making a smokey purple look with them. I've heard these colors are MAC dupes also. This palette is like a buck and is small enough to travel with. I would definitely repurchase!

This is an average ELF quad in pigment, but with some pretty colors. The light purple and navy blue look great on my dark eyes. Like most of the quads, the two darkest shades have supergood pigment and two only fair. Good quad for experimenting with cool/lavender colors. Butternut has more useable colors for everyday warms. Because of the powderiness of these shadows, these work best even with the flimsy included applicator.

I used this yesterday with my Lorac eye primer and these colors were beautiful. I'm sure using an eye primer helps the cheaper shadows, because this stayed on all day. It was very pigmented. For a dollar you just can't go wrong.

I have been looking for E.L.F. makeup ever since I joined this website. Target just started carrying it where I live. These shadows go on smooth and they are fun colors without being too bright to wear for day. I really like the pink color.

This is the second ELF product I've every purchased (my first purchase was the ELF complexion brush which I love!!). However this eyeshadow is horrible!! The pigmentation is poor and the colours don't blend in at all (even with UDPP) and there's a lot of fallout. I don't know why other people have luck with this one but I certainly don't. I don't think I will ever purchase another ELF eyeshadow again.

I love these quads, I think I have almost all of them now! This is a great one. I do have to use a white primer (NYX) to get the colors to look more intense, but once I do that, I'm good to go. They blend well and stay put just fine for me! Love love love value products that WORK!

I heard so many raves and reviews about elf products and so I picked this up among other things in my first ever elf haul. The eye shadows in this quad (colors: light pink, dark blue, navy-grey, and lavender) are all shimmery, moderately pigmented, and quite blendable. Worth the $1, but they do not last on my oily eyelids unless a primer and/or cream eye shadow base is underneath. I'll only use this quad with other eye shadows.

This shadow would work for non-dramatic looks bc the colors are light. Great eyeshadow for a buck.

I got this eyeshadow for my mom at Target for $1. She loves purples and greys, so I thought this would be a nice surprise. The shadow formula is nice...it's highly pigmented and goes on smoothly. It doesn't have much lasting power though, it did fade a little after about 4-5 hours (but this was without an eye primer/base). The case is a nice size and is perfect to put in your bag for touch ups on the go. I gave it a 4 because of the price, convenience, smooth texture, and pigmentation.

Somehow in reviewing products, I keep forgetting about my e.l.f. items, possibly because some of them are so ordinary. This quad is an example. I've probably had this item for a couple of years; I bought it because the shades in it seemed to suit my hazel eyes. There's a very light seashell pink, a purple, a smoky purple-gray, and a medium pink. They are all shimmery--maybe that's why e.l.f. calls them "brightening"? As the previous reviewer stated, these are good quality shadows, if not top-of-the-line; they are nicely pigmented and blendable. I used all but the pink one in my eye look today, layering them over some cream shadow as a primer. There was some creasing after a couple of hours, but nothing I can't fix by blotting and re-blending. Also, the purple shade, which I put on my eyelid, seemed to turn into the slate color after a while, but it still looks good. The only drawback to these quads is (1) you don't get much product, and (2) the packaging isn't particularly sturdy or attractive. Still, I would recommend these quads for beginners or people experimenting with makeup. Because of their small size, they're also good for carrying in your purse or mu bag. Definitely worth $1!

I had heard this e.l.f. shadow quad was very good as well as others. I noticed that my nearby Target finally started carrying e.l.f. products so I bought this. The colors are a neutal, bluish-purple, black, & baby pink. They are shimmery, very soft, & the pigmentation is fairly good. The pink color is too faint though. For $1 I think these are worth having since u can layer the colors. I do recommend using an eyelid primer to help the colors pop & last more.

Again its a Cheap eye shadow. I have to wear with base and NYX milk. So it can really show on my eyes. After that its a go. I will buy again. You cant beat the price for $1. The colors are not very pigmented but is very workable once packed on. The packaging looks Cheap but what do you expect it was only a $1.

This quad is a pleasant surprise for the low price. The shadows are pigmented, soft, creamy, and wearable! I love these colors together and also in other looks. The only downside it that with some brushes you will get a little bit of fallout, but that doesn't really bother me. All in all, I definately reccomend this quad to anyone!

I wanted to LOVE this but it doesnt show up on my skintone. I love the colors and it has great pigmintation. I tried to do a simple eye look but i couldnt. I think it might be better if i foiled it but that takes too much of my time. I love how its so neat and convient also.

I really like this quad. The pigmentation is good in the darker colors. The two lighter colors are good for highlighting and blending and great for the inner corner of the lower lid. I really like this quad and for $1 you can't beat it.

There is nothing particularly wrong with this quad, I just don't really care for blues or light purples (which begs the question, why I bought this?). The white shade on the far left could be used for highlighting, but it's not that special either. Good pigmentation though, if these are colors that you wear a lot, go for it.

The lighter colors are not as pigmented, but the purple is great (I'm not into super dark colors though). For a dollar it is a great buy!

The colors in this quad are not as heavily pigmented as I'd like them to be. The pink doesn't show up at all on my skin tone, even with an illuminating white base, the purple looks pinkish unless I put a white base down first. The colors do last all day without creasing or smudging.

This is my favourite of the ELF eyeshadow quads but Im a sucker for purples.I was quite suprised how good this is and cheap too so you can play around and experiment.
It is a lot more pigmented and better quality than expected,I really like the purple colour and use the white under my brow.
