When I saw a $1 pricetag I thought I might as well try it. Keeping in mind that these were only a dollar I cant complain too much about them. Well first you have to know that these are small thin pads, which since its only meant for eye makeup is not too bad. But the first night I tried this to remove my eye makeup I must admit that it actually did a pretty good job at removing it, since the pads are so thin though you definately need more then one. Thats not even the bad part though. If you get the smallest tiniest amount of this inside your eye, its over. Hell breaks loose inside your eyeball. Its like fire, burns your eye so bad that it just makes you regret not using that dollar on a bag of cheetos or something. I gave this two stars for the fact that they do an alright job at removing the makeup but just save your money please and invest on a good quality eye makeup remover because your eyes are so sensitive and they deserve some good quality stuff.

They work, they are cheap (1 dollar), and they are easily accessible. They get my everyday eye makeup off, primer, mascara and all. However, I have to work a bit harder for special occasion makeup.

Not the worst I have used, and the pads are pretty convenient, but I feel like I am scratching my eyes when I use them. They work, they are cheap, and they are easily accessible. For 1 dollar, they are a bargain, and they get my everyday eye makeup off, primer, mascara and all. I have to work a bit harder for special occasion makeup.

I had bought three of these little things because I was looking for a cheaper, smaller alternative to the usual "up and up" Target brand makeup wipes I normally buy. Since I only wear eye makeup and wash any face powder off with face wash and water, I thought these would be perfect for every day use. Turns out they really sting my eyes, especially when trying to take off mascara on the underside of my lashes.. Not only that, since they are so tiny, they are pretty hard to hold and rub away makeup right where I need to get into (lashline, corners, etc). I also had to use one pad per eye since the pad dried out pretty quickly. BUT, despite all of that, these are perfect to keep in your purse for on the go touch ups or if your makeup gets smudged. Would buy again because of the size of the little jar and the price, and it's nice to be able to carry around a barely there makeup remover.

I love this it so cute and so tiny,if you really had to you could carry it with you. It comes in a screw top container which I really like, no less no fuss. This removes my eyemake up so easily and doesn't leave my eye area feeling gross and dry. Its only a dollar which I love its not a bank breaker and in this economy that's fantastic, I like to splurge but can't do it all the time. I have no complaints about this at all, pick it up and give if a try.

I really, really like these. I'm incredibly lazy about taking off my eye makeup so if it's not easy to take off, I don't. I got these on a whim with my first order from E.L.F. and I actually really like them! Most eye makeup removers are on these giant sized pads and I don't end up using them because I feel like I'm wasting them (because they're so big). These are just the right size. I like that they don't leave you feeling greasy at all. The packaging is irritating and the lid falls off, but I can live with it for $1. I even forgot about these in a drawer for a long time and was able to revive them from bone dry with a little bit of water. They worked good as new. Yes they do sting a bit if it gets in your eyes, but I haven't found an eye make-up remover that doesn't. I don't wear waterproof mascara so I can't comment, but I do wear kohl liner and that comes right off. If there's any residue from waterproof anything that won't come off, take a bit of face lotion or olive oil and rub at it with that.

This just plain didn't work for me. It did NOTHING to remove my waterproof mascara. I guess that's what I get for $1.

Everyone has commented about it stinging or not getting makeup off completely with just one pad. My routine is to wash my face with a face wash and then go over my eyes to get off what didn't come off with the face wash. This works like magic for me so maybe others are using the makeup remover prior to washing their face? There is MILD stinging if it gets in your eyes but since it is a cruelty-free product, I am willing to sacrifice. Also, the little plastic tub it comes in is PERFECT for my makeup bag since it is little and I can use a pad to fix a makeup boo-boo in a pinch while I'm away from home. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 overall rating is because I'm new to the whole makeup thing so I haven't really shopped around for other makeup removers to be able to make a fair comparison. However, for what it is and how much it costs, it's a fabulous buy!

I'm a pretty big fan of ELF products. But this one totally missed the mark for me. I had high hopes being that it is only $1 vs the $8 eye makeup remover that I already use.
They dry out quick. With the packaging it's easy to get the the lid on wrong. I also felt like I was scratching at my eye. I don't have sensitive eyes either.. I'm 20 years old and have worn contacts for 8 years now, so I mess with my eyes alot. But my gosh this stuff burned! Not for taking off the eyeliner/mascara on the bottom lash line area. When you avoid the lower lashline and use it for the top it just smears everything. I ended up having to use 2 pads for one eye.. and if I recall they only have 18 to a pack. It also left an oily residue all over my eye area. Which i hate.
So in my opinion this is horrible. I'd much rather pay more money for something that DOES NOT harm my eyes and smear stuff all over my face.

this eye makeup remover pad stung my eyes when I used it. I had to hurry and rinse my eyes off with water. It did not dry up on me but it was only $1. I tried it but I won't buy again unless it is an emergency.

I purchased this item of course because it was $1!!! However, the quality was worth the dollar I spent! It did not do a good job of removing my eye makeup & when I got too close to my eye it stung sooooo badly! Not the best e.l.f. product to purchase...

These makeup remover pads did take off all my eye makeup but like most reviewers said, it stung my eye badly! Also, i find that this product dries up pretty fast. Even though it was only $1, I don't think i would ever buy this again.

I like a lot of E.L.F. products so I was really disappointed by these makeup remover pads. They did remove most of my makeup and were only $1.00, but they stung my eyes. There are many better eye makeup remover pads out there, so I would not recommend buying these.

These are awesome!! I use one pad for both my eyes, using one side for each eye. Sometimes I use one pad per eye if my makeup is especially heavy or dark. These inexpensive pads wipe away my black liquid liner easily, and the only downfall is that you have to work a little to get your mascara off. But for $1 for 18, I will not complain!

I was not impressed by this so I am happy I only paid $1. It did not do a good job removing my eye makeup. I bought this thinking this would be great for traveling, but I ended up having to run out of my hotel and buy some drugstore eye makeup remover. I gave it a lippie because it is cheap.

Work great and so inexpensive! You can afford to keep some in your purse, at your desk, in your car. I haven't had any issues with them drying out and I've had one package for more than a year. Can't lose with these. They work well, they're in a great container for travel and they're inexpensive :)

Pros: Cheap as anything. The pads themselves are fine.
Cons: The packaging is a failure; your pads dry out within days after opening.
I don't want to have to purchase new wipes on a weekly basis. Thanks but no thanks.

These are surprisingly very good. Using both sides of just one removes all of my eye makeup. The scent is very mild and pleasant. My only complaint is that if you're not paying much attention, it's easy to use more than one because they are so stuck together. Other than that, I am impressed! Will repurchase. :)
